I am attempting to add a segment to my Alaskan Air flight; however, I am encountering issues with their website's "manage" section. When trying to modify my booking to include a second segment or cancel and rebook with an additional destination, the website is not functioning properly. The toll-free booking line from Australia has long wait times of up to an hour or two and sometimes prompts customers to leave their number for a callback that never materializes. As I am calling from Australia, I cannot afford to wait for hours only to risk the call dropping. While the chat feature works efficiently, the agents are unable to make booking changes or process credit card payments. I am looking for alternative contact numbers for Alaska Air besides 1-[redacted] or 1-[redacted].

I recently had a flight scheduled from Phoenix, AZ to Seattle, WA on August 4, [redacted], to catch a cruise to Alaska. Unfortunately, the flight was delayed due to a mechanical issue, causing me to miss the cruise departure. Norwegian Cruise Line is refusing compensation, citing that the insurance included does not cover transportation delays. I am preparing an appeal and seeking assistance to gather evidence showing their responsibility in the situation. I arrived at the airport on time, but the flight delay lasted until after 2:00 pm, causing me to miss boarding by 3:30 pm. Any help in recovering some of the $[redacted].00 lost would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - A. Cosley

Subject: Request for Full Refund Due to Flight Cancellation (TIMSZZ) To the Alaska Airlines Customer Service Team, I am reaching out to seek a full refund for my recently canceled flight (TIMSZZ). Regrettably, a family medical emergency arose, preventing me from traveling on my scheduled flight. This unforeseen circumstance necessitated my immediate presence, forcing me to cancel my reservation abruptly. Understanding the standard cancellation policies in place, I kindly request an exception be considered given the extenuating circumstances. A full refund would significantly aid me in managing the financial repercussions of this unexpected situation. Having been a loyal patron of Alaska Airlines for numerous years, I have consistently admired the exceptional service provided by your airline. I respectfully ask for your understanding and assistance in granting a full refund to help alleviate the financial strain I am presently enduring. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I anticipate your response at your earliest convenience. Warm regards, M. B. Shwedick

I would like to request compensation. On Friday, April 14th, [redacted], my wife and I had a flight scheduled with Alaska Airlines from Los Angeles to Newark, flight AS [redacted]. Unfortunately, the airline canceled the flight without prior notice or explanation at the check-in counter, causing us significant inconvenience and frustration. Here is the message I intend to send to the airline: Apart from the flight inconvenience, we also faced additional expenses due to the cancellation: - We had to book an extra day at a hotel in New Jersey for our now 3-day trip, costing HKD $[redacted].73 = USD$ [redacted].30 (including destination fee). - We incurred a $15 early check-in fee with Airbnb, expecting to arrive at 6:40 am in Newark but ended up arriving in the afternoon because of the flight cancellation. - We had to pay an extra $[redacted] for the luggage items that were initially included in our Alaska Airlines fare due to the flight cancellation.

I recently flew with Alaska Air to Alaska and had a positive experience throughout. However, I now have to urgently leave due to personal reasons. My doctor cannot continue my treatment there with my California insurance, and my father, a recent amputee, just got out of the ICU after a severe internal bleeding incident. I had to abruptly leave my job at the lodge in Copper River due to the circumstances and am in urgent need to return to California. My employer did not wait for my paycheck to clear, leaving me without funds until Friday. I am requesting some understanding and possibly a discount. I am a Club Cant 49 member and a cardholder. The treatment I received from Holland Alaska Princess Cruise Land Management staff has been disappointing, and I hope for some compassion during this difficult time.

I have a flight scheduled for June 14, [redacted], on Flight [redacted]. Unfortunately, my stay at an Airbnb was not satisfactory, and my husband moved to another hotel, leaving me without accommodations. He is seeking a refund from Airbnb, and we need to cancel before tomorrow at 11 am for him to file a complaint. I do not have the funds to book another place to stay. I would like to change my flight to tomorrow if possible. My connecting flight to Sydney is with Quantas on June 14 at 23:25. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I am reaching out to express my disappointment with a recent experience I had with Alaska Airlines. As a loyal customer who has always valued the airline's service and professionalism, the events that occurred during my last trip have left me dissatisfied and uncertain about my future loyalty. On June 29th, my plans involved catching a 7 am flight. Despite arriving at the gate during the final boarding call, another passenger was allowed to board ahead of us, resulting in us being denied boarding. This unexpected situation led to inconvenience and subsequent delays that significantly impacted our travel experience. After being denied boarding, we were given the option to switch to a different flight for a $50 fee per person. Despite agreeing to this, the alternative flight also faced severe delays, with multiple rescheduled times causing frustration. During the extensive wait at the airport, lasting a total of nine hours, my companion and I had to rely on limited airport food, which made us ill. This ordeal greatly disrupted our vacation plans and overall experience. While Alaska Airlines offered compensation, including a $12 food credit per person and a $[redacted] flight credit per person, I believe these gestures are insufficient to cover the time and financial losses we incurred due to the situation. The $12 compensation for a nine-hour delay and the $[redacted] flight credit do not address the full extent of our inconvenience. Although I understand that unforeseen circumstances can cause disruptions in the airline industry, I am disheartened by the impact of this incident on the airline's reputation, which I have previously praised. While my past experiences with Alaska Airlines were positive, this recent event has made me question my loyalty to the airline. Given these circumstances, I respectfully urge Alaska Airlines to review the compensation provided and offer a fair resolution that acknowledges the inconveniences, frustrations, and financial losses we experienced. I hope the airline will take this opportunity to restore my trust and demonstrate its commitment to customer service. I am optimistic about a positive resolution and look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently contacted customer service to resolve a billing issue. Despite multiple calls and discussions with different operators, a supervisor promised to credit my return luggage on my final bill. However, this credit was not applied when I checked in at the ticket counter later. I was assured it would be done automatically, but it hasn't appeared. I would appreciate it if you could verify whether the credit was processed and if not, please advise me on how to proceed. Thank you in advance for your assistance. If needed, you can reach me at 1-[redacted].

I am currently in Split, Croatia, and unfortunately, my bag has not arrived since I departed on 9/19/[redacted]. Today is 9/22/[redacted], and I am now on Hvar Island for a bike trip. This situation has been incredibly stressful and time-consuming, impacting my entire trip negatively. I have made numerous attempts to contact the airline and British Airways without success due to the airport's busyness. I had to activate my phone with AT&T to deal with this issue, incurring additional costs. The items in my missing bag, such as clothing, medications, and washings, are essential for my bike trip. I have spent over [redacted] Euros on cabs to inform the bike rental company about the situation. Overall, this luggage mishap has cast a shadow over what should have been a joyful trip, causing constant worry and stress as I try to resolve the issue.

During our bike trip hopping from islands and constantly on the move, my suitcase failed to make it to Split on the same day as our arrival. It's been three days of trying to locate it, putting a strain on our tight itinerary which involves biking from island to island. This ordeal has been stressful and costly. Not having my biking gear, personal items, or even hair essentials is taking away from the enjoyment of what should be a fun adventure. With our schedule constantly in motion, there is no time to spare for shopping to replace these items. The next stop before heading to Iceland is Dubravnick in four days, where the need for appropriate clothing and hiking shoes becomes crucial. This unexpected expense is challenging, especially with the drastic shift in temperatures from warm to cold climates.

I have a reservation for Alaska Airlines flight [redacted] on November 7, [redacted], leaving from Portland, OR at 4:00 pm. My original flight was changed, and I need to arrive earlier for a conference. Two alternative flights would work: one departing Portland at 6:00 am, arriving in San Jose at 11:46 am, and another at 10:00 am, also arriving at 11:46 am. My return flight on Nov. 9, flight AS3358, is fine. I apologize if I've included too much or too little information. Please guide me on the best, cost-effective way to make these changes as I am on a tight budget. Thanks in advance. Regards, Paula G.

I need to book my flight using the credit from rescheduling. I paid for flight insurance, so it's essentially a reimbursement. However, it's proving challenging to use this credit without accessing the desktop site it requires. It has been 3 days, and I'm looking to speak to someone over the phone to resolve this issue quickly. Thank you.
