Hello, I need some assistance with a hotel booking issue I encountered. I made a reservation on May 6, [redacted], through the Agoda website. The booking number provided was [redacted]93. However, despite being informed that the reservation details would be sent to my email, I did not receive any email confirmation. Furthermore, the payment for the booking was deducted from my bank account. When I arrived at the hotel, they had no record of my reservation, leading me to make a new booking and payment. I kindly request a refund for the amount deducted as I was unable to benefit from the initial reservation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Dear Sir and Madam, I am reaching out to request your assistance regarding my reservation (Booking number: [redacted]71). Last night, while searching for a room for this weekend (May 12th-13th, [redacted]), I stepped away from my computer to consult with my wife before finalizing the booking. Unfortunately, my 7-year-old niece accidentally proceeded with the transaction. I discovered that the booking was non-refundable, but I will not be in Oslo on the scheduled date. This weekend was intended for my honeymoon trip and holds special significance for me. I kindly ask if it would be possible to amend the reservation dates from November 13th-14th to May 12th-13th (this weekend). I understand the non-refundable policy, but I hope you can make an exception in this case. If the rate for this weekend is higher than the original booking, I am willing to pay the difference. The hotel rooms were in poor condition with a bad smell, a cockroach on the bed, and the hot tub not working. Upon reporting these issues to the reception, I was moved to another room with an unbearable smell and dirty walls. I expressed my wish to cancel the reservation after the unsuccessful room change and contacted you on Saturday regarding the matter. We discussed sending an email to the hotel, Mi Casa Hotel, but they have not received anything. This was frustrating as I had made two reservations for my grandson's birthday celebration. We ended up leaving the hotel to find another place to stay for the night. My reservation number is [redacted].

On May 5, [redacted], I made two bookings for hotels in Hong Kong. The bookings were for YMCA Salisbury and Holiday Inn Golden Mile from June 1 to June 5, [redacted]. Both bookings were initially cancellable as we were deciding between the two properties and awaiting clearance from my dad's oncologist for travel. Unfortunately, my dad was not approved to travel, so I needed to cancel both bookings. I successfully canceled the YMCA booking, but I encountered an issue with the Holiday Inn booking as it was non-refundable and non-cancellable. I am confused as to why this is the case and need assistance with canceling both bookings due to my dad's travel restrictions.

I am in a difficult situation. We made a reservation for a hotel/apartment that turned out to be a scam. After searching for hours while carrying our luggage, we discovered it was reported as a fraudulent company by the Japanese Police. Despite our attempts to contact the host via chat, email, and phone calls, they have not responded. Upon reaching the address provided, it appears that the individuals residing there are the actual owners of the apartment. We are seeking assistance from anyone nearby to help us locate the fraudulent property and assist us in getting a refund. Our situation is dire, and we really need our money back. Good afternoon, I am inquiring about a booking I made on Agoda for a room for 2 guests from May 24th to May 28th, [redacted]. I initially made the reservation on the Agoda app in March or April and had arranged for payment to be processed on May 13th. Unfortunately, I received a notification today that the payment was unsuccessful. I am considering two potential reasons: 1. Since May 13th falls on a Saturday (a weekend day), could the bank's non-working hours have caused the payment to fail? 2. It's possible that my card had a limit on internet payments which prevented the transaction. I received a message stating that my reservation will be held for the next 44 hours, during which I need to make the payment to avoid cancellation. In response to issue number 2, I promptly increased the limit on my credit card upon learning about the payment failure. My question is: Will Agoda automatically charge my card once the limit is raised, or should I reattempt the payment? I urgently need help with my recent Agoda booking. I made a mistake booking at the wrong location due to misleading information. There are two hotels named El Nido Cliffside, one in Bebeladan El Nido and the other in Buena Suerte El Nido with a Google pin named El Nido Cliffside. This confusion led me to book at the wrong place. I would like a refund, even though it was a non-refundable booking, as I would have kept it if the location was correct. I reached out to Agoda via phone on 11/14/22 regarding a stay I booked (Booking ID: [redacted]18). After noticing double charges on my Discover card, one from Agoda on 10/14 and another from the hotel on 10/19, I contacted the hotel manager who advised me to contact Agoda. Following a phone conversation with an Agoda representative, I emailed transaction details on 11/4/22. Subsequently, I sent more detailed information from my Discover statement on 11/11/22 as requested. However, I have not received any updates from Agoda since 11/11/22. Two days ago, I made a reservation on your website with code [redacted]67. However, upon arrival at the hotel, the receptionist refused to let my boyfriend and me into our room because we are not married. This requirement was not stated in the hotel's description when I made the reservation. Consequently, we were left stranded on the street without any alternative accommodation for the night, feeling lost in an unfamiliar area. I had a booking at the Gladstone Motel for the 9th and 10th of March. On the 9th, my employee was there when a break-in occurred in the adjacent room in the early hours, making my staff member feel unsafe to stay another night. I contacted the motel, and they assured me that they would inform Agoda and provide a refund to the credit card used. Unfortunately, this refund has not been processed yet. I am disappointed that I have to follow up on this matter.
