You can set up a recurring transfer so that your bill payments get deducted automatically without any hassle. Here are the steps to setup a recurring transfer in your US Bank account.

1. Log In to Your Online Banking

The first thing you're going to want to do is log in to your online banking login page. You can go directly by visiting US Bank's website.

If you're already logged into US Bank's application, you can click on the Banking tab on the navigation bar at the top of the screen and then click on the Online Banking button.

2. Choose the Transfers Tab

Click the Transfers tab within the Recurring Transfer section. This tab allows you to easily set up a daily, weekly or monthly recurring transfer. To get started, click Add button.

On the next screen, select Recurring Transfer and then fill out the required information. Select Other as the Individual/Business Account Type. Find it under Payees/Accounts.

Provide all required information for your Other account including Account Number, Routing Number and Account Type. Click Save.

3. Select Make a New Transfer

When you set up a recurring transfer in your US Bank account, the money will be electronically transferred from your bank account to another at a scheduled date and time.

The recipient will not need to take any actions other than having the money automatically deposited into their accounts.

You can schedule recurrent transfers as often as every day or as far apart as once a year, depending on how much you want to automate your savings goals.

4. Add Your Transfer Details

You can enter your transfer information by logging in to online banking and clicking Transfer and Pay. From there, select the Plus icon and select Recurring Transfer.

On the Recurring Transfer page, enter your recipient's account number. Select an action, enter the amount you want to transfer and click Next.

5. Select How Often You Want To Make This Transaction

You can choose between weekly, every other week, monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually. The bank can make a transaction automatically once a week if you select Weekly.

If you choose Monthly, the transaction will go out automatically once every month. If you enter Quarterly, the bank will transfer automatically once every quarter.

6. Review All Information Is Correct and Click Submit

Check all the information to ensure it's correct. Click Submit. You'll want to review the following.

  • The amount you transferred
  • The date that the transfer will occur
