What are the hours and when should I call?
NET 10 operates the call center for this 877-836-2368 phone number 24 hours, 7 days. The short answer is that you should call on a Wednesday. This observation and the following section are based on analysis of a sample set of 632 calls made in the last 90 days using our free, web-based phone (see above).
When you use our free AI-powered phone to call and talk, wait on hold, or navigate for you, it will automatically wait until the NET 10 call center opens before trying to call. It will ask your permission before it places the call, so you can also further delay that scheduled call until you are ready. But that means you can "set it and forget it" ahead of time.
An important note: busy times vs hold times vs best time to call
When we refer to busy or less busy times, we are talking about the volume of calls. The busiest times are when the most people are calling this NET 10 phone number (least busy times have fewer people calling). This high call volume does not necessarily mean that you will have a long hold time when you call. Companies like NET 10 staff their call centers differently based on the time of day and day of the week, so you may experience a shorter wait on hold at the busiest of times. When we refer to the best time to call, we are referring to the optimal combination of lower call volume and shorter wait times.
The least busy time to call
The least busy day to call NET 10 is Sunday. The most busy day to call is Monday, which averages 98% more phone calls by comparison.Again, this is based on a sample of 632 calls made with our AI-powered, web-based phone in the last 90 days.

Calling Net10's customer service number is only helpful if you're already an existing customer, as the company is no longer signing up new customers. When I called, I was told that I could refill my existing phone, purchase phones and accessories or activate my number, or I could ask for technical support.
I opted for purchasing a phone, and I was taken to a representative who couldn't hear a word I said. When I tried to speak to her, she had no connection and quickly told me to call back on another line and hung up on me. I called back, went through the menu again and was connected to a different representative.
This time, I was able to ask my question and asked about purchasing a new phone through Net10. The representative told me that at this time, Net10 was no longer selling phones because Verizon had acquired the company and would be merging with Simple Mobile under the Simple Mobile name. As such, they would continue providing service to existing Net10 customers, but they would not be selling new phones to new customers.
I then asked how I would go about getting a new phone, and she told me that I would have to sign up for an account with Simple Mobile. She said that I could go to Simple Mobile's website and sign up for a new account, and I could get a new phone through them. With nothing else that she could help me with, we opted to end the call.
Upon hanging up, I checked the information she had given me and found it accurate. She had mispronounced the company's name as "Simply Mobile" instead of Simple Mobile, but otherwise, what she said was true and I could not sign up with Net10 or get a new phone as a new customer.
Overall, I thought the experience was helpful the second time I called. I was able to get through to a representative who listened to my questions and provided accurate information, asked if there was anything else she could assist me with and thoroughly explained the situation. Given the merger at the company and how its days are numbered, there really wasn't a lot she could do with the situation otherwise.
Obviously, I can only recommend using this number if you're an existing customer of Net10 wireless, and not for much longer anyway. If you don't already have an account, you'll need to go through Simple Mobile anyway, and Net10 likely isn't going to be around for very long past the writing of this piece. But if you're a current customer, I would recommend using this number for support until Net10 no longer operates.

If phone-based customer service is not available, or the wait times are long, many people prefer chat as a next-best option. Some even prefer it to calling on the phone. Luckily, NET 10 provides this option.
Some customer service teams, like that of NET 10, accept inquiries through Facebook Messenger. This is a good option if you have a Facebook account, and you may even be able to converse live with an agent this way.
As a last, sometimes only, resort- NET 10 customer service can be accessed through their website. This can entail digging through help articles before finding a form and "being allowed" to submit a problem to their team, and rarely leads to a real-time conversation, which is why GetHuman does not recommend this unless it's the only way.
