What are the different types of fares available?

Asked a year ago
Transperth offers a range of fares to suit various travel needs. The different types of fares available include standard fares, concession fares, and free fares for children under five. Standard fares are applicable to adult passengers and offer unlimited travel within designated zones for a specified period. Concession fares cater to eligible groups such as seniors, students, and pensioners, providing discounted travel rates. An approved concession card is necessary to avail these fares. Additionally, Transperth offers free travel for children aged 5 to 15 years on weekends, public holidays, and during designated school holiday periods. It is important to note that all passengers require a valid ticket or SmartRider card to travel on Transperth services, except for children, who can travel for free. Further details on fare types and eligibility can be found on the Transperth website.
