Get my number back after my Sim card got broken It was on month to month plan

If your Optus SIM card got broken, you can replace it. Visit an Optus store, or if you cannot do that, you can order a new one online. When you receive the new SIM card, you would need to activate it. During the activation process, you can choose the option to keep your current mobile number. You'll need to provide some security information to verify your identity. After activating your new SIM card, your previous SIM card will become inactive, and your mobile number will then be linked with your new SIM card. This way, you can keep your number even if your SIM card was broken.
