In a nutshell: Lufthansa offers refunds for canceled or delayed flights. To process a refund, go to Lufthansa's My Bookings Page and use your booking code or log in to your account. Tap the Cancellation button next to the relevant booking and confirm the cancellation on the next page. Flight tickets purchased through Lufthansa's website will be automatically refunded. If booked through a travel agency, contact them. Use Lufthansa's Chat Assistant or visit their Refund Page if needed. Fill out the required fields and submit. Unused flight value vouchers can also be refunded. Visit the Flight Value Voucher Page, enter the voucher details, and submit. Check if you can rebook before canceling, and contact Customer Support for further assistance.
Lufthansa can offer a complete refund for flights canceled without a replacement or if your scheduled flight has been delayed by at least two hours. You may also be eligible for a refund if the scheduled arrival is delayed by at least two hours or the actual departure time is suddenly changed (on the same day) by more than five hours. If you cancel for reasons other than those mentioned above, the refund will be subject to certain conditions. Use the guide below to help you process your refund with Lufthansa.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Lufthansa in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Get a Refund from Lufthansa? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
