What RAID configurations does Drobo support?

Asked a year ago
Drobo supports various RAID configurations to meet different storage needs. It offers BeyondRAID, a proprietary technology that enables flexibility and simplicity. BeyondRAID allows for single or dual disk redundancy, ensuring data protection and high availability even if drives fail. It supports RAID 1, which mirrors data across drives for redundancy, offering continuous operation and quick drive replacement. Drobo also supports RAID 5, distributing parity information across drives for both fault tolerance and increased storage capacity. RAID 6 is available as well, offering double parity, which protects against simultaneous drive failures. Additionally, Drobo provides the option for RAID 10, a combination of RAID 1 and RAID 0, which provides redundancy and performance optimally. With Drobo, users can easily select the desired RAID configuration that best suits their specific storage requirements.
