How Do I Request a Refund to a Gift Card from Banana Republic?

Go to My Orders section of the website if you want to request a refund to your Banana Republic gift card. Click on Request Refund. You recently received a gift card from the Banana Republic, or have purchased it. Unfortunately, Banana Republic notified you that the item you used the card for was now out of stock. The question is: How do you request a refund for your Banana Republic gift card? Here are the steps to request a refund to your Banana Republic gift card.

1. Visit Your Banana Republic Account

Go to the Banana Republic homepage and click My Orders. The next page will show you all your orders from the last 30 days. Find the order you purchased with a gift card and click on it to see its details. On this page, you should see an option that says Return and Exchange. Click this button and follow the instructions on the screen.

2. Go to My Orders' Section

Visit My Account section of the website and select Order History. From there, click the order you would like to request a refund. You should see a drop-down menu with several options.

3. Click Request Refund

Select the Request Refund and follow the prompts. A page will open where you can enter the amount of your refund. Click Continue.

4. Enter the Total Amount of Your Refund

You can enter the amount you want to get back. Enter the total amount of your refund. If you don't know the total, enter the number of items to return.

5. Select the Reason for the Refund

Banana Republic will refund your money if you didn't receive the product you ordered or if damaged in transit. If you would like to request a refund on your gift card, select one of the following reasons:

  • Damaged merchandise
  • Exchange
  • Refund

6. Review and Submit

Once you complete the form and review the information, click Submit. You will receive a notification by email if there are any issues with your request. If approved, you'll receive an email with the refund amount. If denied, you'll receive an email explaining why.
