Why can't I withdraw Apple Pay money?

You won't be able to withdraw cash directly from Apple Pay. Instead, you'll need to use the money that's on your Apple Pay Cash card to purchase items online or in shops that accept Apple Pay. You can also transfer the funds to your debit card or bank account and then withdraw it.

Problems transferring money from Apple Pay

There are several reasons that you may be having problems withdrawing money from your Apple Pay. The following tips may help. After You've checked these things, you can try and transfer your money again.

1. Log into your Apple Pay account and see if you have any updates. Sometimes the Apple Pay app needs to be updated before you can continue to use it. Look at iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS for updates.

2. Ensure that the device you're trying to use is compatible with Apple Pay.

3. Ensure that you've got a good Wi-Fi connection or cellular connection if you're using your phone.

4. If you want to transfer your money onto your debit card, check that you have an up to date and eligible card registered with Apple Pay.

5. Ensure that you've added an eligible American bank account and linked it to your Apple Pay account. Double-check that you've correctly entered your account and routing numbers. If you've accidentally put in incorrect information, your money may be transferred to the wrong account.

6. If you're trying to transfer your money instantly, you'll need to use the same billing address as you've used with your debit card.

7. You can also check the limits on your Apple Pay account. You can transfer anything between $1 and $10,000, as long as you have the money in your account. The minimum that you can transfer is $1; if you're attempting to move less, your withdrawal won't go through.

8. You should also check that you're not using accents when entering your name.
