I recently received an automated voice message on my iPhone regarding a $[redacted] gift card purchase that I found suspicious. The message was unclear, so I called the number provided. During my first call, I spoke with a female representative whose name I couldn't catch clearly. She mentioned my account being hacked and then the call got disconnected. Upon calling back, I spoke with a male representative named John, who explained that the purchase was made using my partner's card, which makes sense as my name is not on it. He provided me with a contact number: [redacted]. The automated message was from 03-[redacted]1. I checked my purchase history but found no relevant information. Can anyone verify the legitimacy of this situation and offer assistance?

I am frustrated with my experience with Alvin Heller regarding Order # 04-03[redacted]1. I returned the grinder, and now I have received an email claiming the package was damaged during shipment. I believe this person may be untruthful and unwilling to provide a refund. It seems like he might be trying to profit unfairly by reselling the grinder. His attitude towards the situation has been confrontational and offensive, with unnecessary insults. I am disappointed with his conduct and communication. I am eager to resolve this matter promptly and obtain the refund he seems reluctant to give. I am feeling very discouraged and seek assistance in finding a resolution to this issue swiftly.

I bought a used iPad mini on August 8, which was delivered on August 15. Unfortunately, the previous owner did not remove their email password, making it unusable. I tried contacting her multiple times without a response. After reaching out to customer service, I was advised to wait 24-48 hours. The seller eventually responded, claiming to be out of the country with varied return dates. Given the circumstances, I am concerned about being scammed. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance. - Patricia

I bought ball joints for my pickup truck, but received the wrong ones. eBay directed Rock Auto to send the parts, leading to the confusion. When I requested a refund for the $[redacted].99, I was instructed to buy a $[redacted] gift card for it to be processed. After providing various photos and details, I was told I needed to purchase an additional $[redacted] gift card to receive a minimum refund of $[redacted]. This entire ordeal is frustrating since I never ordered from RockAuto but from eBay. I tried contacting eBay via phone, but the messaging system is garbled, asking for a 7-digit number.

On December 4th, [redacted], I made a purchase through PayPal for three bra extenders from ideal887 in white, black, and nude colors. Unfortunately, I have not received my order or a full refund of £3.96. Despite numerous emails from the seller claiming the order was shipped on different dates and promising a 99p refund that never arrived, the situation remains unresolved. I receive daily emails from them, causing frustration. PayPal has not been able to assist, eBay's Resolution Center has not been helpful, and contacting the seller only resulted in unhelpful and somewhat rude responses. This experience has left me feeling deceived and disappointed. I am seeking assistance in addressing this issue with the seller's questionable practices.

Dear Forum Members, I want to share my frustrating experience with eBay and PayPal. I followed the steps advised by eBay to contact the Resolution Centre, but the response I received was unhelpful. I then reached out to PayPal, detailing the situation, but unfortunately, I did not make any progress with them. The company, Ideal887 from China, where I placed my order, seems dishonest. Their mocking emails, false shipping dates, and lack of cooperation in issuing a refund have led me to believe they are fraudulent. They claim eBay restricts them from giving a refund, but I doubt the truth of this statement. The unresolved situation troubles me, as they continue to ignore my requests. All I seek now is a refund of £3.96. I no longer desire the items I ordered due to their poor conduct. I fear the challenges involved if the goods arrive damaged. I would appreciate any assistance in obtaining my refund. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, P. Beck

I purchased a Remote Control Quadcopter (model KUY6015), which was meant to be a birthday gift for my son in September. Upon receiving the package undamaged, I stored it in our master bedroom closet to keep it hidden for his birthday. When we recently opened the gift, we were eager to assemble it, only to find out that the viewing screen component was missing. This part is essential for controlling the Copter and capturing images. I am hoping to receive the missing piece promptly as we are looking forward to using the Quad Copter during our fall camping trips. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I have been purchasing items on eBay for approximately two years without any issues until now. Today, I received an email stating that the item I never received cannot be refunded because the seller provided tracking information confirming delivery to my address. Despite checking with my building's front desk, leasing office, neighbors, and local post office, the item is still missing. The seller's response was unhelpful, simply directing me to contact another individual or group. After attempting to resolve the matter with eBay directly, I was unsuccessful in getting a refund, even though the price seemed too good to be true. Despite my efforts to appeal the decision, I was informed it is final. I feel frustrated about losing $40, not only due to financial constraints but also on principle. This experience has made me apprehensive about future eBay purchases if sellers can retain products without buyers receiving refunds.

I have two listings for ICEpower amplifiers 50ASX2, one for a single unit, and the other for a pair. Unfortunately, when I search for "50ASX2," the listings do not seem to appear in the search results. I have tried searching while logged in and logged off, but they remain elusive. The listing numbers are [redacted] and [redacted]. I suspect that the few views and occasional sales the items have received are from customers navigating from my other listings. I brought up this issue with customer service a while back, and although they mentioned they would address it, the problem persists. It is frustrating to see that these listings are not getting the visibility they need. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer. Best regards, Brian K. from Lawrence, Kansas

Hello. Two months ago, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy 6S with a scheduled delivery date of July 31, [redacted], but there was an issue with the barcode. A replacement was sent while I was on holiday, with a new estimated delivery date of August 8, [redacted]. However, I never received any notification about the delivery attempt. I returned from my vacation at the end of August only to find I was without the phone or a refund of £[redacted].99. The seller is unresponsive, and I am unsure how to proceed. I've learned that Royal Mail holds items in the post office for just 18 days before returning them. I would appreciate any assistance you could provide.

Hello, I recently bought a Doro [redacted] phone. It did not come with the cradle charger as advertised but instead came with an ordinary Alcatel plug-in charger which seemed like an afterthought. I contacted the seller twice about this issue, but unfortunately, they have completely ignored me. I hope eBay will intervene and resolve this matter. Such unscrupulous behavior is entirely unacceptable. The seller received payment but has failed to honor the transaction, which I find disgraceful. Regards, Pat.

Hello, I recently received a ban from eBay, which I believe was due to not paying promptly. I had just loaded funds onto my card and was waiting for the seller to address my inquiries. I have screenshots showing the funds were available, and I was in the process of paying when the ban occurred. I have $[redacted] available to cover the $[redacted].55 payment. This seems to be an error, so I am seeking assistance to resolve this issue. Thank you for your help.

My situation is regarding case number [redacted]. I sold a new spray gun in a box. The buyer was aware it was not an original as we discussed it prior to the sale. He recognized the difference between the genuine product and the one in the pictures. After receiving the package, he claimed it was not the original item and requested a return. However, since the product matches the description and appearance provided, I am unsure why I am expected to refund him. Even though he knew what a fake looks like and still proceeded with the purchase, eBay seems to side with him, implying it is my fault and I have to cover the return shipping costs.

I would like to request to speak with a supervisor regarding a urgent issue I am facing. I am seeking reimbursement for items that were not returned by a buyer. I am frustrated with the refund process as it seems to automatically issue refunds without following the proper return procedures. I am considering joining a class action regarding this issue. I request a calm and efficient resolution to this matter. Thank you for your assistance, supervisor.

On August 31, [redacted], I encountered an issue checking out after winning a bid on a "Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H3 In-Ear Headphones Black Brand New in Box" with item number [redacted]12. I contacted the seller, sending screenshots of my checkout problems, and requested them to send an invoice or relist the item. Despite several attempts, I did not receive any response from the seller. Consequently, I procured a similar item from a different source. Despite informing the seller numerous times about the lack of response and requesting the order/invoice to be canceled, I have not heard back from them. To my dismay, an unpaid item case has now been opened for this purchase. Attempts to seek assistance from eBay's customer care have only redirected me back to the unresponsive seller.

After selling a graphics card, the buyer claims it's not working. I requested picture proof to verify, but haven't received any. Despite the buyer's insistence of uploading them, I have yet to see any evidence. The buyer is only focused on a refund, making it hard to communicate. I don't want to come off as condescending, so I haven't mentioned the possibility of upload issues. To troubleshoot, I uploaded my own pictures, which the buyer confirmed seeing, but I still can't see any of his. The buyer seems solely fixated on the refund, leaving little room to explore other possibilities, like potential damage in transit. Cooperation is lacking, as the buyer remains adamant about the refund without addressing other concerns.

I bought a metal detector and had to return it due to a custom order. The return tracking number is EE[redacted]97LK. I agreed with the seller to cover shipping, return shipping, and any $40 customs duty. The item arrived at Guangzhou customs on the 8th of last month, but there has been no movement since. Postal services mentioned that the item is held by Guangzhou Customs for clearance as cargos. A notice letter was sent but couldn't be delivered as I was not available at the address. The customs website and contact information were provided. I have been in touch with the seller, who initially asked me to wait for instructions on collection but is now suggesting accepting a partial payment instead. I tried to claim a refund through eBay's money-back guarantee, but it's currently not authorized. I suspect the seller is deliberately avoiding collecting the item and payments. I am keen on getting a refund.

Regarding case no: D7AB99D662734FEE9802CB378D69716, I recently won an auction for a pair of Mexican aquamarine earrings but encountered payment difficulties using both my credit card and PayPal due to my Canadian bank details. I have tried to resolve this with both my bank and PayPal to no avail. I also reached out to the vendor, but have not received any response to discuss alternative payment methods. I believe the vendor opened a payment case prematurely without checking their email for my attempts to resolve the payment issue. I have faced similar challenges before with vendors who only accept payments from the U.S. I hope the vendor can find a resolution to this problem, as I am eager to complete the purchase. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - A. Doherty

Hello, I need assistance with an issue regarding a recent eBay purchase. Approximately a month ago, I bought a car reinforcement item which did not fit. I requested a refund from the seller, returned the item, and received an email on August 30th confirming the refund had been processed to my PayPal account. However, upon reviewing my bank statement, I did not see the refunded money, and I was charged an additional amount by eBay. I am unsure about the next steps as I am unable to open a case or report the problem through the return process due to the system indicating the refund has been issued. I am seeking guidance on how to proceed to recover my funds promptly. I have evidence such as screenshots of my bank account and PayPal transactions. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
