A couple of weeks ago, my account was compromised. A person from eBay identified the issue and advised me to wait 24 hours and update my password. eBay now asks to verify my phone number ending in 50, while mine finishes with 52, as it has always been for over 20 years without any problems. With approximately [redacted] transactions and a [redacted]% feedback rating, I am unable to reset my password due to the incorrect phone number according to eBay. My phone number, [redacted]2, does not end with 50 but has always been consistent. I feel it's unfair that I'm locked out of my account without any assistance.

I bought an item on eBay scheduled for delivery on September 23. However, I was informed that it was damaged beyond repair in transit. I let the seller know, and she mentioned not having received any information initially. Later on, eBay requested for the item to be returned. Since it's too damaged to send back, I'm unsure how to proceed. I paid in good faith and I'm disappointed that I won't receive the item. Any advice on how to handle this issue would be appreciated. Hello, I am a regular customer on eBay. I recently purchased a Philips Lumea laser hair removal device. Unfortunately, after ordering, I faced a family tragedy as my father passed away. This understandably caused me to overlook checking the item upon return. Today, when attempting to turn on the device for the first time, I discovered it does not function. I reached out to the seller who claims it was working, but it simply will not power on. The intention was to gift it to my sister, and this situation has left me very disappointed. I kindly ask eBay to intervene, inspect the item, and help facilitate a resolution. I am willing to provide my flight tickets as evidence of the circumstances.

I am the director of Silicon Cooling Ltd., a UK limited company based in London with a registered office at Office 9, Dalton House, 60 Windsor Street, London SW19 2RR. While my business address is in London, I primarily work from my home address at 2 Great Mead, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 5BP. I typically handle product deliveries, shipment, and returns from my storage unit at Load n Lock, Silicon Cooling Unit [redacted], Yeovil. I purchase computer components from reputable UK IT Distributors, Spire Technology, and Target Components, with whom I have accounts. I recently sought assistance from Codisto to list a second-hand product on eBay, which led to the restriction of my seller account. Despite my efforts to comply, my account was permanently suspended following a review by Roy from Mexico. Hello Lauren, I am writing in reference to your email dated September 21, [redacted]. In the email, you mentioned that if the seller does not respond within three days to arrange the pickup of the two parcels at their expense, I can request your assistance to resolve the issue. I have attached photos showing that the two brake discs are different when they should be the same, indicating that the seller has sent the wrong items intentionally. Despite my attempts to contact the seller, there has been no response. Having been an eBay user for many years, I have never encountered such behavior from a seller. Dear Customer Service, I placed an order for a grey mirror two weeks ago on a Saturday. The delivery was supposedly left in my front block flat's porch, but I did not receive the item. Previous incidents of stolen parcels in my building concern me. After speaking to a helpful representative, I was advised to contact the seller, but unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved. The driver claimed to leave the item in a secure place, although the delivery location is not secure at all. Parcels are left in plain sight of the public, and access is easily available through the main entry. Despite being home all day, I received no buzz or knock at my door. I believe the package may have been stolen. I have attempted to reach out to the company for further investigation with no success. I am aware of previous concerns with unreliable drivers. Recently, I've discovered that my account is below standard, and I have identified the reason behind this issue. As an experienced eBay seller who has faced health challenges impacting my memory over the last couple of years, I've realized that I failed to fulfill five customer orders in the past year. This led to transaction defects as I struggled to locate the items promptly due to memory lapses relating to where they were stored. Despite my intentions to fulfill the orders, I encountered difficulties and chose to refund the customers promptly while explaining the situation, fearing they wouldn't wait indefinitely. However, I now understand that this approach negatively affected my seller performance. I've received an email from eBay warning me about the state of my account, and I acknowledge the need to handle sales more meticulously moving forward. I recently purchased the DM1100T lathe from your store. Unfortunately, I've encountered issues trying to find a chuck or adapter for it. Scheppach UK has informed me that it's not possible to obtain these accessories for this particular lathe. Even though they supplied a face plate, I specifically need a chuck to fulfill my woodworking needs. Given that the lathe doesn't support a chuck and it's essentially unusable for my purposes, I'm exploring options for a refund or returning the lathe to you. I'm considering purchasing an English lathe from you that can accommodate a chuck and chuck adapter.

I purchased an item on eBay on Monday, September 25th, for £33. I requested updates on the dispatch, but the seller, 19-10[redacted]6, has not responded to any of my messages. I attempted to cancel the order, but it was marked as dispatched even though it has not been sent. I have been unsuccessful in reaching the seller for a refund. I would appreciate a £33 refund. I am having trouble resolving an issue where my account has been suspended for an unknown reason. Despite following the instructions provided, including using one-time codes and resetting my password, I am unable to regain access. I made a purchase using PayPal, and the payment was successful as shown in my PayPal account. I received an invoice from eBay Motors for a car priced at £[redacted], which seems too good to be true as the car is worth £[redacted]. I am uncertain if this invoice is legitimate or a scam. Hello, I purchased an item from eBay with a three-month warranty. Unfortunately, the item stopped functioning within three months. When I raised a complaint to the seller, they initially offered a 10% refund as the same product was not available for replacement. However, when I refused their offer, they claimed that it was now past the three-month warranty period and could not help further. I urge the seller to stop making false commitments and misleading customers. If this matter is not resolved, I may consider taking this to the consumer court.

I purchased a VW Golf from a seller named Stonebridge Cars. The car was delivered, and I believed it would match the description in the ad. I transferred the money, but upon inspection, the car had numerous issues. I contacted the seller, who initially agreed to pay for the problems with an invoice. However, after providing the invoice, I have been unable to reach them. I had the car inspected and discovered it poses a serious safety risk. I purchased one box of XL cheese crisps, consisting of 48 packets, from "Discount Confectionary" through eBay for my sister in Dubai. I brought them with me during my holiday to Dubai, only to discover that each packet has a slight opening at the top and they are somewhat damp. The products arrived last week, and I initially noticed they looked flattened. I tried clicking on the seller's name, but it keeps redirecting me back to eBay. I am quite frustrated about this situation and hope that the issue can be resolved with the seller.

I am in the process of selling some of my late brother's personal items on eBay. I decided to list a bulk lot of designer clothing to potentially sell to a market trader or another seller rather than creating individual listings. Unfortunately, eBay flagged this as possibly fraudulent or involving counterfeit or stolen goods. They restricted my account and requested documentation to prove ownership, including receipts or order information for each item. Since I inherited these items from my brother, I do not have the receipts from his purchases but can confirm they are genuine products from well-known brands like Hugo Boss, Lacoste, and Gant, all purchased new. I have been caught up in a lengthy exchange of emails with eBay, trying to explain my situation, but they insist on documentation to lift the restrictions. Despite deleting the original listing that caused the issue over five months ago and selling the items elsewhere, eBay continues to demand proof of ownership. They have frozen over £[redacted] in payouts from my sales, still charging fees. I feel the situation is unfair, especially given the difficult circumstances of selling my brother's belongings. It has been challenging to reach a representative at eBay to address my specific issue, as their responses have been automated and unhelpful.
