I purchased a keyboard/hardcase for my iPad Air with plans for online college. However, I never ended up enrolling and barely used the keyboard. After storing it since last November, I recently attempted to use it only to discover it won't function unless it's plugged in and won't hold a charge. It is still within the warranty period and needs to be replaced. I am currently not employed and cannot afford the shipping fees for warranty replacements, but this is a genuine manufacturing issue. I kindly request an exception this one time to receive a replacement for the faulty item.
