I have received multiple persistent calls from a YELP salesperson regarding advertising, despite clearly stating I would call back at a convenient time. The salesman has become aggressive and disregarded my request. This behavior is unacceptable, and I had resolved an issue previously with a different representative. However, the current situation is intolerable and appears as if the salesman may have intentionally created problems to secure a sale. The repeated calls have reached a point where a patient had to intervene and found the behavior appalling. Contacting this number provided is not an option for me. I request assistance in resolving this matter promptly. It is disappointing to have to address this situation and hope for a swift resolution. Thank you. Dr. M.J. Arciom

I am frustrated that our initial review has been labelled as "not recommended" by Yelp's filtering system. Despite being in business for over 30 years and assisting this particular group for more than 5 years, our positive review from the HR director has been excluded. This decision is perplexing, as similar businesses are prominently displayed on our page, potentially diverting customers elsewhere. It might be more beneficial to remove our business from Yelp altogether, as our page seems to promote other businesses more effectively than our own. This is disheartening, especially since we have not received an influx of reviews nor do we engage in purchasing reviews or offering incentives as it is a small, family-owned business with only four related employees. The situation is disappointing.

I recently signed up for Yelp ads based on a salesperson's promise that I would not be charged unless my ad received 23 clicks per day. After 10 days, only 15 clicks were registered, yet I was billed $[redacted]. This unauthorized charge has caused financial strain, leaving me unable to buy groceries for my six children. As a new business owner, this situation is distressing, especially since we did not gain any customers through the ad. The salesperson, who I believe goes by the name Hank, misled me to secure the sale without explaining the billing process clearly. I urge the company to review and reverse these charges promptly, as this experience has been deeply unsettling for me and my family.

Hello, I wrote a Yelp customer review detailing my experience with pictures and a description. I have been facing harassment from the owner and her associates since then. They are posting personal attacks and spreading falsehoods about me. The owner has even resorted to attacking my character publicly by calling me names like fake Christian and a snake. I am feeling unsafe, especially since the owner is aware of where I work. I plan to visit the sheriff's department after work to report this behavior and seek a protective order.

I wrote a review for Clement Heating and AC in New Orleans in January [redacted] and gave high praise. I recently checked for an appointment, and I noticed my review wasn't recommended. I had stated at the beginning of my review that I might seem like a promoter but meant to highlight their exceptional service. I research thoroughly before any service and Mr. Clement even noticed my interest. I only review when I believe a company excels, and I have never been compensated for any review. I am extremely frustrated that my genuine feedback was not recommended. If needed, you can reach out to me for clarification.

Contract # [redacted][redacted] I recently started this contract a few months back, and the outcomes have been excellent. Yet, on last month's bill, my credit card had expired, and the notifications about it went to my social folder instead of my primary email. I realized there was a decrease in phone calls the week while updating the card and reactivating the account. Despite being up to date with payments, the decline in calls hasn't bounced back. I fear that my inactive account might be causing me to miss out on business opportunities. I kindly ask for assistance in investigating this issue, as the decrease in incoming calls is negatively impacting my profits. Thank you. - Frank B. from AArdvark Electric Service

Case #: [redacted] I recently posted a review based on my personal experience, but it was immediately placed in the Not Recommended section. Could you please consider moving it to the regular review category? I made sure to follow your guidelines by detailing my interaction with Corbin Bowl and providing specific examples. Here is a copy of my review: Date: 4/22/[redacted] During my visit to Corbin Bowl, I was disappointed with the dirty bathrooms and the manager's refusal to address the issues. The manager, Erin, explained that certain groups were not eligible for the family rate, which I found discriminatory. I do not recommend Corbin Bowl due to these unpleasant experiences. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Tom

I believe there is no public comment to post because the profile in question is fake. I am requesting a reevaluation of this review by a different worker at your company. As I understand from Yelp's guidelines, a profile should have several reviews and be actively used. I am puzzled as to why a fake profile with one review is allowed to remain while genuine reviews from my clients, like Chris Miller, are being hidden. I urge you to clarify this discrepancy as it is causing confusion and frustration on my end. Please reopen this case promptly. I purchased a concert ticket via Yelp Ticket Network on April 14 for a show in Sacramento on May 21. However, when trying to verify the ticket, there seems to be a discrepancy. The order number doesn't match, and the barcode appears incorrect. Even Yelp Ticket Network is unable to locate my email. Regarding payment, the email listed for the seller is [redacted] The transaction number is [redacted]42. I'm concerned about the legitimacy of this purchase and am seeking assistance. - Bob E.

I am not linked to Pure Debt Solutions. However, after sharing my encounter with SEMOTORS, the owner, Baktash H., unfairly associated my profile with Pure Debt Solutions. I would like to share my experience with an individual from SEMOTORS who, after seeing my profile, falsely associated me with Pure Debt Solutions and National Auto Protection on various platforms. The individual, identified as Jonathan M, left inappropriate messages on my fan page and engaged in unprofessional behavior. I have emails documenting my communication with the company after being defrauded and would appreciate guidance on how to proceed. The behavior displayed by Jonathan M was immature and unprofessional, and I believe he should not interact with customers. I am eager to provide screenshots of the interactions for further review. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Baktash H. from La Habra, CA.

A review was mistakenly posted about me on Yelp, not related to my business. Despite clarifying this, the review is still up. I am Joy R. Spriggs, Esq., and I attended a conference in December where I encountered issues at a hotel. The review was likely left by a hotel employee due to problems with my room and service delays. I never acted in a "Mean and Nasty" manner, just directly addressed management. The hotel reprimanded the manager and compensated me for the inconvenience. Please remove the inaccurate review promptly, as it does not reflect my business dealings. The hotel was supposed to request its removal but has not done so. Thank you for your assistance.

I tried to assist my wife, who is not very familiar with computers, in deleting a review from her account under the name "Ann D." to settle a legal matter. Despite not using the account for 3 years, we had to reset her password to gain access. Upon logging in, we found that her name had been changed to "A.S." instead of "Ann D." We corrected this in the settings, but now her account displays "0" reviews, although the review on the "Grace Design Associates" site remains. We need guidance on removing this review. Her account is [redacted], but contacting me via email at the address below would be more efficient. As we are seniors, we find it challenging and contacting Yelp only connected us to the Advertising Department. Your help in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

I am writing to appeal the review left by Jay N. about New York Beer in NYC. The post by Jay N. on 12/29/18 is extremely damaging to Matt's reputation and seems unjustified. It does not provide any relevant feedback about the beer establishment, only focusing on a negative personal experience with a server named Matt. The detailed description in the review accuses Matt of being racist and disrespectful without any evidence. This review does not offer constructive criticism and appears to have ulterior motives rather than providing an honest assessment of the beer served at New York Beer. I kindly request a review of this post and consider removing it as it is harmful and baseless. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently tried out Yelp ads with a $[redacted] budget. After two weeks, I didn't notice any improvement in my search rankings or leads generated. Upon checking my remaining balance of $[redacted] on the Yelp business app, I decided to end the campaign and informed Yelp of my disinterest. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke to was uncooperative and attempted to charge my credit card without my authorization. Despite not agreeing to continue with their service, they failed to address my concerns. Numerous negative reviews online echo my experience. I demand an immediate resolution with a zero balance on my account. The misleading practices of Yelp are concerning, especially for fellow business owners like myself. It's disappointing as the initial representative who helped me set up the account was courteous and led me to believe canceling before funds were depleted would suffice, which was clearly not the case.

Hello Yelp Community, I had a disappointing experience with Ronnie at Yelp customer service. I felt unheard and treated poorly during our interaction. Recently, a local sales representative named Tim visited our small startup to promote Yelp advertising. Despite our limited budget, Tim assured me we would not be charged until he followed up after a 2-week trial period. Encouraged by the $[redacted] new customer discount, I reluctantly agreed. However, after the trial period, there was no mention of Yelp from any of our customers. Tim did not contact me as promised, so I assumed the arrangement was over. To my shock, I discovered a $[redacted] charge on my bank account today. I am frustrated by this unexpected charge, as it was not what was agreed upon with Tim. I request an immediate refund of the $[redacted]. This situation has caused financial strain on our small business, and I urge Yelp to rectify this issue promptly. Thank you.

I own two locations. For over a year, I had mostly 4 or 5-star reviews except for one negative one. I contacted Google because my Shingle Springs site was missing. They suggested advertising, but I didn't have time to discuss it then. The representative ended the call abruptly. Later, I discovered that all my positive reviews for my second location were gone, except for the one negative review. This was suspicious as I had just checked them before calling Google. Please restore my ratings showcasing my dedication to customer service. Thank you, Robin D. Graphix Ink

Review of Entomobiotics, Inc.: This review violates Yelp's policies due to inappropriate language. I was not present when they inspected for bed bugs, but despite their assurance, I continue to find bed bugs crawling on my clothing and walls. The affordability of their service may be the reason they have not been thorough in locating the bed bugs. My situation has caused family conflict and health issues. The person who inspected my home did a poor job by not checking areas beyond my bed. I am extremely upset and feel that they need to improve their service.

I value professionalism and am passionate about advertising my business efficiently. As a salon owner, I was contacted by Yelp salesperson trying to offer more advertising space. Despite explaining my time constraints and the need to stay on schedule, the salesperson persisted, causing disruption with a client during a busy workday. I found the lack of respect for my time and business disappointing, leading me to reconsider any future advertising with Yelp. I have successfully managed without Yelp thus far, and this experience has deterred me from utilizing their services in the future.

I am looking to stop receiving emails from Yelp, but they only offer the option to close my account, which would delete all my posts. I am frustrated with the situation because I wanted to leave Yelp before, finding it difficult to deal with. I only signed up briefly to share my experience with a specific business, and now Yelp continues to send me emails, trying to act friendly when in reality, I feel like they are controlling and not the best platform for me. I have had negative feelings towards Yelp for a long time, and my recent experience has only added to my frustration. I joined Yelp out of necessity to voice my opinion about a certain business to a larger audience. Best, Stephie.
