I updated my Xbox One S a few days ago, but since then, when I try to play games, it gets stuck on the loading screen. I attempted to restart the system, but now it's stuck on a black screen for longer than usual. I've tried various solutions like unplugging it for 2-10 minutes, changing HDMI cables, and even a factory reset temporarily fixed it, but the issue returned the next day. I simply want to enjoy my games again, especially after making a new character profile and being excited to experience the story in a different way.

I am seeking a refund for my Cold War game. I own the disc version and encountered difficulties after an update that caused the game to freeze at [redacted]%. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, but the issue persisted. The disc is functional as it worked on a friend's Xbox, and my console has ample storage. Although I bought the game from GameStop and not directly from Microsoft, I believe there may be a glitch causing this problem and would appreciate any assistance or advice.

I subscribed for one month in December [redacted], but have been continuously charged even though I removed my credit card information right after signing up. I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges. My name is Linda, and the Xbox account is under my son's name, Richar Shea. His email is [redacted]. I have a new credit card with a different number now, so charges won't go through. We haven't been able to use the Xbox since January [redacted] due to a lost cord. Please reach out to me to resolve this matter promptly.

Cyberbullying is a real issue that many people face, and it's unacceptable. I recently experienced a situation where I was targeted by another player while asking a simple question on Xbox. Despite my attempt to explain the situation calmly, the individual continued to use offensive language and insults towards me. I decided to report the player, but their response about having multiple alternate accounts raised concerns about the effectiveness of current penalties. To address this problem, I suggest implementing a penalty system where not only the account but also the console hosting the banned account receives the same penalty to deter the creation of multiple accounts. Additionally, introducing a separate option for "Xbox password" instead of signing in could help monitor and limit rule-breaking by different users on shared consoles. This measure could help prevent the misuse of alternate accounts and hold individuals accountable for their actions. I believe this solution should be implemented universally to promote a safer and more respectful gaming environment for everyone.

While here in Minnesota visiting my sick grandmother, I allowed my nephew to play Fortnite on my Xbox. When I returned, I found my system locked due to him trying to enter my passkey incorrectly. I forgot my password, but I can provide all necessary information to prove ownership. Please understand my situation and help me regain access to my account, as I have been playing regularly since September last year. My previous phone number was [redacted], and my account name changed from Immortal Gotti to Genghis Kahn. Thank you for your assistance.

I have been billed for a three-month Xbox Live subscription using a debit card not saved on my account, which is an error on your end. I do not have funds on the debit card linked to my account intentionally. Please contact me promptly to rectify this. I require a refund and the cancellation of the unauthorized three-month subscription. I did not approve the use of the debit card information you used for billing. I intentionally saved a different debit card in my account settings to prevent Xbox from charging me unnecessarily. I recently bought a 12-month Xbox Live Gold membership from Walmart that I prefer to use instead of ongoing charges.

On June 21, my son accessed his brother's Xbox account and made a purchase of $[redacted]. I'm looking for a contact number to request a refund. My son doesn't remember his account password "[redacted]". The last four digits of the card used are [redacted]. We already removed our debit card from all our son's accounts to prevent this from happening again. I would be grateful if you could investigate and resolve this issue. If needed, please contact me. Thank you, Tiffany B. [redacted]

I encountered an unexpected prompt when trying to sign in to my Xbox Live account on my Xbox console. The prompt requested that I verify my account safety using a password that I did not remember. I attempted to use the account recovery form to update the email associated with the account to one I could access, but the automated tech support repeatedly rejected my input, claiming insufficient information provided. I have since recalled the old, simple password from my childhood, but now my account is locked due to suspicious activity. The email address linked to receive the verification email no longer exists, and the alternative option redirects me back to the account recovery form that I am currently locked out of.

I have submitted several refund requests and have been disputing charges with my bank since November [redacted]. Despite changing my card number three times, unauthorized charges continued. The bank initially credited back half of the charges ($[redacted].36) in March but later reversed it in May, claiming no error was found. Xbox support revealed that my actual bank account was somehow linked to the card and new cards were being obtained. Unsure who made these charges, my son denies it and suggests his account may have been hacked. I have submitted refund requests with various order numbers. I would appreciate it if someone could contact my niece, Tiffany Tatum, at [redacted] for assistance, as I am not very proficient with computers and she has been helping me navigate this issue.

Dear Microsoft Support, I have been a GamePass subscriber for four months, three of which were on a trial period and one paid month. I am looking to cancel my subscription and request a refund for the current month (June [redacted]) and the initial month (May [redacted]). I have been facing issues with functionality involving the Analog sticks and d-pad controls since the trial period began. Despite trying different solutions, including getting a replacement controller, the problem persists. This has resulted in not being able to enjoy any of the Game Pass games. I would appreciate it if you could refund me for the two months of service I was unable to utilize and proceed with closing my account. Thank you, Dan H. Email: [redacted]

When I was young, I used my sister's email for my Xbox account. As I got older, she changed the password and we attempted to switch the emails, but it seemed like her whole email would be deleted, so we stopped. I had put a lot of effort and money into that account, and now it's inaccessible. I can prove it's my account because I remember the first gamer tag I used, 'D Force [redacted]'. The current email on the account I'm trying to recover is '[redacted]', and the current gamer tag is 'stxrdxrg'. I need to swap the emails and password without deleting the current email address, as my sister uses it for work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently received a permanent ban from Xbox Live on my main account, SlimsyCoyote997. A day before, I had been given a 2-week ban for posting about selling a 'rare wanted paint' on Forza Horizon 3, which I now understand violated the code of conduct. I accepted the 2-week ban as a consequence of my actions. However, the next day, I encountered an issue while playing Forza Horizon 3 where I was signed out of Xbox Live and couldn't sign back in. Upon trying to re-login, I discovered I had been permanently banned for account theft, a charge I strongly deny. I have evidence of someone threatening to take over my account in a group chat. Additionally, I was in a party with individuals using a banning tool but did not participate. I've never engaged in stealing accounts, phishing, or solicitation. I am willing to serve the 2-week ban I originally received for the inappropriate post. I value my account, reputation, and financial investment in games. I kindly request a thorough review of my case to address this wrongful ban - Harlee Becher (SlimsyCoyote997). Thank you.

My accounts on my Xbox One S were locked by my son, who attempted to enter the wrong code too many times. My oldest son, Marquavion Purdiman, helped me set up the password, and I have the necessary information to prove my identity. Unfortunately, Marquavion passed away on Aug. 18, [redacted]. The accounts are registered under my name at [redacted] I am seeking assistance to regain access to my accounts as they hold valuable memories of my late son. Can I please speak to a live agent to help me resolve this issue since I am unable to sign in due to the password problem?

I am seeking a job as an Xbox agent. Despite contacting Xbox agents about available positions, I have only been directed to job listings requiring 2-3 years of experience. However, Xbox agents mentioned a job opportunity that does not require any skills and offers training. As I plan to join the army soon and am waiting for my home office to provide further information, I hope to find an easy Microsoft job to work from home in the meantime. I am not proficient in computer skills and need a job where I can earn money as an Xbox agent. I appreciate any assistance with this matter.

I am experiencing issues with my Xbox. I can't sign in as it keeps freezing, despite hard restarting it. The HDMI and power cords are securely connected. The problem seems to be specific to my Xbox as other accounts work, although slower. When trying to open apps, it results in a black screen and a message saying it took too long to start. Even opening settings doesn't work – it just loads for a bit and then gives the same message.

I visited the community tab to connect with Minecraft players and got invited to a group. However, when I tried to join the game, I received an error message stating I couldn't play on realms due to my Microsoft account settings. I confirmed that my online safety settings allow multiplayer and clubs, as I used them to find fellow players. Despite double-checking and restarting my Xbox, the issue persists with each attempt to join. The message also mentions needing an active Xbox Live Gold Subscription, which I believe I have since I've played multiplayer Minecraft before without problems. I even tried adjusting settings on the Xbox account website from my phone without success. I'm unsure what to do next and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you.

I suspect that my Xbox/Microsoft account has been compromised. Yesterday at 8:42 pm, I received an automated text message informing me that "[redacted]0 was deleted from my Microsoft account ma******@aol.com. Does this look familiar?" The message included a link, but clicking on it redirected me to the Microsoft sign-in page. However, upon attempting to log in, I received an error message stating that my details were incorrect. Subsequently, when I tried to access my Xbox account, I was asked to enter a password for an unfamiliar email address which I did not use to create my account. The fraudulent email was "[redacted]," distinct from my legitimate email "[redacted]" It seems that someone has gained unauthorized access to my account and modified the associated email. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in regaining access to my account.

I am subscribed to a monthly service for £6.99, paying with my credit card. I recently found out that my son, who has ASD/ADD, made unauthorised transactions totaling £[redacted].29 in July using the card without my knowledge. Due to undergoing chemotherapy, I didn't notice the charges until now. I used my Child Tax Credits to cover the unexpected expenses, leaving me financially strained for the week. I'm seeking a refund for the charges and need assistance removing my card details from my son's account to prevent future incidents. Any help during this challenging time would be greatly appreciated. I can provide hospital letters confirming my medical situation and my son's diagnosis. Rest assured, I will address this behavior with my son to prevent it from happening again. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, D. Jefferies

I have some important issues to address regarding my son's Xbox One Digital Series. Initially, it was supposed to come with a 3-month free trial of XBOX LIVE MEMBERSHIP, which we seem to have misplaced. My name is Ann M Andrews, and I must discuss the various charges that are being applied to Justin Trossi's Xbox Live Digital Series. We need to rectify numerous problems, including refunds to my Visa card ending in [redacted]. Additionally, Justin is not familiar with the concept of rewards yet, but he should receive rewards for all his previous purchases. There have been duplicate charges for the LIVE Membership, games, and apps on my card, which I did not authorize for these purposes. I demand a refund of all charges made starting from when they were first imposed without my consent. This is a substantial issue that requires immediate resolution. I have been trying to contact Xbox Microsoft for an extended period without success. I am frustrated with the continuous charges on my card that were initially provided only for activating his device. Even though we removed my payment information from his account, there are ongoing unauthorized charges that need to be addressed promptly. Despite my attempts, there has been no response to my urgent request for a resolution. Thank you for your assistance.
