I have experienced account security issues with unauthorized access by individuals I associate with stalking and abuse. I am seeking the support services provided by Twitter for dealing with stalkers and abusers. Additionally, I am reaching out to actors for a play and recently had a concerning interaction involving a potential misunderstanding with someone imitating a person from my past. I value professional contacts and invite them to connect for legitimate reasons unrelated to the mentioned individuals. It is crucial for victims of sexual assault and stalking to have the necessary support and understanding. Any assistance in resolving these matters promptly is appreciated. Please contact me at [redacted] or risk potential legal consequences for impeding communication with the actual individuals involved. Respectfully, the genuine "Alexandra" since [redacted] (Dramatist Guild member since [redacted]).

I recently received a notification that my Twitter account has been suspended, and I am deeply worried about losing access to it. The reason for the suspension was due to an issue with my date of birth. I am currently 19 years old, and when I created the account at the age of 12, I may have entered the wrong birthdate. In my appeal, I mistakenly chose the option for 'entered wrong date of birth' instead of 'I was underage when I made the account, but am now of age.' I fear that I may lose all my memories, photos, contacts, and messages stored on my account. I even had my mother fill out the parental consent form to address the age-related concern. I have already provided valid ID to prove my age and eligibility to use the account. I cherish my account with its 30 thousand tweets and followers, as it is a significant part of my daily life and identity. My username is @barackobacon. Any assistance in resolving this matter and restoring my account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, yesterday I decided to add my birthday back to my account since it was approaching (September 25, [redacted]). As soon as I confirmed it, I was shockingly taken to a page stating my account had been locked. I clicked on the link to complete a ticket where I was given multiple choices, and I chose to be honest and admit that I was, in fact, not 13 when I created the account. It is a known fact that many people had inputted a different birthday from what theirs really was. As you can tell from my birthday, I have been over the age of thirteen since [redacted], aka the year my account was created. For the short number of months that I WAS under 13, I rarely composed my own tweets and only retweeted things. I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly update me on the progress of my account being unlocked or even simply unlock it. Thank you.

My friends thought it would be funny to change the birth year on my Twitter account, resulting in it getting locked. We anticipated it would take about a week to resolve, but it has now been nearly 2 months without any updates from Twitter. This is causing inconvenience as my other online accounts are linked to Twitter for login purposes. I urgently require Twitter to unlock my account or at least provide an estimated timeframe for the resolution. My Twitter handle is @FanUNC3.

Hello, I recently discovered that my birthdate on my Twitter account is incorrect. When attempting to fix it, I inadvertently got locked out of my account due to age restrictions set when I was underage, a decade ago. I am now 21 years old and capable of managing my own account independently. Initially, my account was supervised by my mother. I have provided the required proof of this arrangement. I am now waiting to know the timeline for reactivating my account. Unfortunately, some individuals have reported issues with not having their accounts reinstated despite multiple attempts, which is troubling. The process, involving sharing personal details via email without receiving any confirmation, appears somewhat dubious.

I created my Twitter account when I was under the age limit, but now that I am 18, I believe this issue should not affect me. Twitter is crucial for my social connections, and I strongly prefer not to lose all the content I have amassed over 6 years. While I acknowledge my mistake in the past, I urge for my account not to be suspended now that I am of legal age. My account, @brilybeer, holds significant personal value to me, and I kindly request for it to be reinstated.

My birthdate was incorrectly set to [redacted] instead of my actual birth year of [redacted]. Despite the account being created in [redacted], I didn't really use it until [redacted]. Upon correcting this info, I was informed that I was not 13 years or older when the account was originally made. I provided my ID, and they said they would review my case. On September 5th, I received an email stating that they would delete everything from before I turned 13 and delay my account. I am still waiting for a resolution. I hope to regain access to my account as I had worked hard to build up my followers on there. If not, I may have to reconsider using Twitter in the future. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Our community's Twitter account was disabled after I was given control and changed the country. Twitter flagged it due to the account holder's age setting during creation, now requesting a birth certificate or parental proof for reactivation. As the account is for our fictional community, lacking a birth certificate or parent complicates matters. I attempted to resolve it by sharing my driver's license displaying my first name and birthdate. Unfortunately, this response did not suffice. The account remains inaccessible for 4-5 days with no reply in the past 2 days via email or support messages on my personal Twitter.

Nine years ago today, I opened an account but stopped using it shortly after due to confusion. In June [redacted], I opened a new account with a different email which I have been using frequently. Today, upon checking in, I learned it was my 9 year anniversary from the original account. When asked, I confirmed the original email was still in use, which merged the accounts and resulted in zero followers. How can I access my true account? The email for that account is [redacted]. Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Kindly respond to my original email at [redacted]. Thank you, Eileen McKee.

I accidentally entered the wrong birthday on Twitter, resulting in my account being locked due to age requirements. Despite Twitter's promise to unlock my account, I haven't received any updates via email after waiting patiently. When I attempted to follow up on the case, I was informed that it was closed. I've since tried to submit a new case, yet haven't received any communication on the matter. I remain hopeful for assistance in resolving this issue and reclaiming access to my account. Thank you for your help.

I've experienced suspension before for something I didn't do, leading to multiple suspensions. I just want to enjoy this site peacefully without the constant fear of losing all my progress. It's my escape from daily life and a way to connect with others. Being suspended again, especially for a prior unjust suspension, is distressing. Using this site helps with my depression and allows me to make new connections. I hope to use the site without unnecessary worry.

I had issues with my match.com account being hacked recently. Despite attempts to deactivate it, it kept getting reactivated with a different email address. Fortunately, after a call with match.com, I was able to cancel it. Now, I am concerned that my Twitter account might have also been compromised as I received emails despite not using the platform. I tried to log in to deactivate it, but I couldn't access my account. I suspect it might have been hacked around the same time as my match.com account. Can someone assist in deactivating my Twitter account since I can't log in to do it myself? Thank you.

As a recent graduate of USF and a freelance writer and poet, I have been facing persistent issues with accounts impersonating me and sending threats through third parties on Twitter. Despite reporting these incidents, no action has been taken. I have also experienced stalking, hacking, and impersonation of my identity, impacting my real-life interactions. I have applied for verification multiple times and sought help from an IT professional at Shands USF to address these issues to no avail. The lack of response from Twitter has left me feeling helpless and under constant scrutiny. These problems have escalated to the point where my career and personal safety are at risk. I am currently working on important projects and need my account secure to continue my professional endeavors. I urge Twitter to take action to protect my account and address the ongoing harassment I have been enduring.

Hello, I am seeking assistance with my Twitter account. I recently received an IP ban for defending the late artist Mac Miller. This is my first offense, and I believe the ban is unjust since my comment was meant as a joke. I did not receive any prior warnings or suspensions. It seems unfair that a reference to Nike led to my ban while others make more severe comments without consequences. Twitter is essential for my business, and I feel unfairly excluded. I am unable to reach out through other means except for an appeal, which I doubt will be reviewed. I am hoping to connect with a representative to resolve this issue. My Twitter handle is @Just_Relax_Kid. Thank you.

I received communication from an account claiming to be @princeandrewdu2, indicating he was the authentic Prince Andrew. This seemed credible to me as my friend recently received a knighthood, and my aunt had a past affiliation with the palace. Subsequently, an individual purporting to be Prince Andrew's attorney solicited charity funds from me. Concerned about a potential scam, I reached out to the prince's secretary and posted a warning here. The account @princeandrewdu2 remains active, leaving me anxious about possibly misidentifying the real prince as a scammer. I fear the repercussions within my family if my actions were unwarranted. Please investigate whether this is indeed Prince Andrew's genuine account, compromised by a hacker, or associated with a valid royal charity. I am deeply ashamed and would appreciate any insight on this matter. Thank you.

I am frustrated that my Twitter account has been locked out for the fifth time. I recently received an email apologizing for my tweets being flagged as spam. I believe this is intentionally done by them. After indirectly telling @realDonaldTrump & @JeffSessions off, my account was locked immediately. I appealed and expressed my discontent. I even contacted a lawyer as I feel my freedom of speech has been violated. Many others use colorful language too, so why am I being targeted? I find it unfair that Twitter restricts my expression and refuses to respect my privacy. I am considering legal action against them. As a disabled veteran in my sixties, I won't let a young CEO dictate what I can or cannot say on the platform. Enough is enough.

Dear Twitter Support, I wanted to address an issue with my account age. Approximately two weeks ago, I updated my age on Twitter to reflect my actual age. Although I initially created my account when I was under 13 years old, I have been an active user for nearly 5 years now. Now that I am 18, I believe there is no necessary cause to suspend or restrict my account. Throughout my teenage years, I utilized Twitter without any incidents. Even when I was under 13, creating the account was my personal decision. Upon reviewing my account activity, you may notice my early tweets centered around music bands and similar topics. I am confident that I have not breached any Twitter terms and conditions. I am advocating for a reconsideration of not only my account but also others encountering a similar predicament. Requiring a legal identification or birth certificate seems excessive. Wasn't the under-13 rule established for privacy concerns? Soliciting sensitive personal data like birth certificates may actually amplify the privacy invasion issue for underage account holders. I respectfully urge you to review this situation. Thank you for your attention.

Hello Twitter Support team,
I have attempted to update my birthdate on my account to 10/23/[redacted], but I recently discovered that because I created my account right before turning 13 in September, I am unable to make this change. When I tried to modify my birthdate while updating my bio today, my account was suddenly disabled. I value Twitter greatly, especially as I am approaching my 21st birthday, and I would be devastated if my account were to be deleted. I apologize if I did not adhere to the guidelines when I was 12 years old, but I mostly used the platform after turning 13 and am currently 20. I simply aimed to ensure my bio is completely accurate. Could you please assist in resolving this matter without deleting my account? Your prompt response would be highly appreciated.
Thank you,
Catherine P.
