Serious Rust Issue with Whirlpool Washer/Dryer Combo I purchased the Whirlpool Combo Washer/Dryer from a local store, Tafelberg Furnishers in Western Cape, South Africa, in January [redacted]. After about a year, I noticed a small rust dot on the machine and sought help from the company to remove the kick cover safely. Despite following their advice not to remove it, the rust has worsened underneath the surface. I reached out to KIC South Africa in January [redacted] about this issue, but they were unsupportive, claiming it falls outside the guarantee coverage. My previous Defy Combo Washer/Dryer, which lasted 23 years, did not have such problems. While I know this may not be within your control, I wanted to highlight the poor after-sales service quality from Whirlpool South Africa and express my reluctance to purchase their products again.

Five weeks after purchasing a new refrigerator, the compressor failed. Whirlpool technicians have confirmed the issue and declared the compressor faulty. Despite contacting Whirlpool early May, the appliance store mentioned they could not replace the unit due to a Whirlpool policy. After speaking with a Whirlpool representative on 5/9/22, I was informed that the case was escalated, and I should hear back within 3 to 5 business days regarding replacement or repair. I recently purchased a Kitchen Aid Double Oven from Best Buy in Modesto, California. Its Model and Serial numbers are KODE507ESS05 and DA[redacted]. The oven was delivered on 6/19/[redacted] and installed on 7/29/[redacted]. After 10 months of use, both the upper and lower inner glass of the oven doors have become fogged with rainbow colors that do not come off. I have reached out to the Serviceman from Appliance Repair Specialists, Janelle from Best Buy's Customer Relations Department, and Constance from Consumer Care who all indicated that this is considered a cosmetic issue and is only covered for 30 days. I am extremely disappointed that Best Buy refuses to replace the defective glass doors. I find this response unreasonable, and I plan to share my experience with others. I have a commercial top loader model CAE2745FQ1. This is the third control board that has gone out, part number W[redacted]9. I have spent more time on hold than the washer has run. I get switched from department to department, each time left on hold. I am trying to run a business and do not want my customers to see a brand new broken-down washer all the time. Trying to get it taken care of is painful and frustrating. I have two new Whirlpool washers, one that won't run, and ten old Whirlpool washers that run great. Take care of the people that support you, or you won't have any support. I need a new board; it's under warranty, or replace this lemon of a washer. I have replaced all controls; it is always the control board that lasts around ten days then goes out. This is the third time.

I purchased a gas KitchenAid range about a year and a half ago. After just over a year, the oven stopped working correctly. Even when turned off, the gas would stay on, requiring me to go downstairs and switch off the stove's breaker to shut it down. The vendor mentioned that it was past the one-year warranty and I would need to handle the repairs. Living alone as a widow, the oven had minimal usage and is already causing issues. I reside in Fort St. James, B.C., which is one hour and 45 minutes away from the nearest town, Prince George, where gas stoves are repaired. A local plumber with gas certification examined the stove, suspecting an issue with the top electronic board and ordered a part costing over $[redacted]. Unfortunately, that did not solve the problem. After consulting a technician from Moore's Appliances in Prince George, it was suggested that the valve might be the problem. Another $[redacted] later, along with the plumber's installation fee, we replaced the valve, but the gas issue persists. I am at a loss and believe that this range is defective and should be replaced.

Good morning, I would like to explain the reason for my complaint. I bought a Whirlpool washing machine in Guatemala, a 22 Kg model. When I first used it, it started squeaking as if it were an old machine. I contacted the store where I bought it, and they insisted a technician had to inspect it. I explained that I bought a new machine, not one that needed repair, and requested an exchange. Eventually, they agreed to exchange it, but they only had smaller machines available. The factory's customer service was poor, and I am disappointed in how Whirlpool handled this situation. I want to make it known that I am displeased and will not recommend Whirlpool due to their bad customer service.

I bought a Whirlpool EasyTech washing machine 2.5 years ago. The machine only has a tub and does not rotate. The technician checked it and said the repair cost would be Rs. I'm inquiring about how many parts must be replaced before our washer will be replaced. We have been without a functioning washer for over 2 months. The repair technician has visited 5 times and replaced 4 parts, with another part on order, which has already been replaced once before. Despite this, the washing machine is still not working. Our washer is less than a year old and covered by warranty. We are dissatisfied with the ongoing issues and would like the washer replaced. We have a freezer on order but are contemplating canceling due to our frustrating experience with Whirlpool.
