Hello, I am reaching out for assistance. Approximately three years ago, my uncle was involved in an irreparable accident with his Touareg. We salvaged the radio system from the vehicle, which necessitated a code for operation. Fortunately, we located the code written on a piece of paper affixed to the back of the radio and successfully utilized it in another vehicle.
Recently, we replaced the battery leads, prompting the system to request the code once more. Regrettably, we are unable to locate the aforementioned piece of paper bearing the essential code. Residing in the Congo DRC region, I have diligently reached out to several dealerships without any favorable outcomes. I kindly seek your assistance in this matter.

My VW Tiguan developed an engine fault. The technician quoted $[redacted] to fix it, but after paying, the issue remains unresolved, with an additional $[redacted] needed. With only [redacted],[redacted] km and ongoing payments, frustration ensued. The dealer proposed a $[redacted] trade-in after delay, factoring the previous expenses and recent tire and brake replacements. Disappointed with VW, known for "legendary engineering," the low mileage made this car a rarity for issues. This experience has soured my view of Volkswagen, as I own two currently. Resolving this situation is crucial if VW wishes to regain my loyalty.

Hello, I'm Ramona. I purchased a [redacted] Tiguan in May at Fox Valley VW in Schaumburg, IL. The vehicle came with a lighted panoramic sunroof, which was one of the reasons I chose the car. I went to Jacobs Twin in Naperville, IL, to have a remote start installed, and they mentioned 2 recalls, one related to the sunroof lighting. After the service appointment, I realized the light was no longer working due to a fire hazard. I felt disappointed because I wasn't informed in detail about the disconnection of the lighting, and I had to make an additional trip. I believe I should have been given the choice to keep the feature or sign a waiver. I would like to have the lighting reconnected or receive some form of reimbursement for the feature that was originally included with the car.

I visited the Van Nuys location for a car service today. They advised me that I needed to change my brakes as one side was wearing more and the caliber was sticking. They quoted over $[redacted] for the repair. I had recently been to a Volkswagen dealership in Glendale for squeaky brakes. They reassured me it was normal for VW cars and just dust, a claim I found odd but believed. It’s documented that my brakes were checked previously without issues, even during my lease inspection a year ago. I trusted their assessments, yet now, a year later, everything apparently needs replacing. This situation feels unfair; if they had caught the damage earlier, I wouldn't be facing this costly repair now. Their oversight seems completely avoidable considering my past visits and trust in their service.

I purchased a pre-owned VW CC slightly over 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I have already had to replace three insulation panels on the bottom of the frame. The most recent panel was damaged while going very slowly over a speed bump in my neighborhood. I had planned to buy an Arteon next year, but this recurring issue has now put a stop to those plans. Despite how well the car drives, I cannot tolerate this level of hassle. The first dealer I approached regarding this problem, even though they didn't perform the work, provided me with unhelpful information. The service representative mentioned that this was a common issue, which I found unacceptable. I feel like I have been let down by VW due to this poor design. Repeatedly paying for these repairs and missing work because of this situation is unacceptable. Shame on VW for this inconvenience.
Sincerely,
Steven Van Brown

I have noticed that my car has several issues. There is a spare donut tire on the car, and the right-side passenger tire rod is bent and needs replacement. The car lacks an oil pressure sensor and is temporarily fixed with zip ties. Recently, the car started shaking and making strange sounds. Some family members added a 50/50 mix of tap water and antifreeze, unaware that my Volkswagen requires G12 coolant. Despite having new spark plugs and an oil change, I now smell burning antifreeze. I am worried about my [redacted] Volkswagen's performance. Any advice would be appreciated.
Sincerely, F. J.

I am Henrik Weiseth from Juno Beach, FL. My Volkswagen Jetta, VIN 3VWDX7AJ0DM214712, has been having issues with retrieving the ignition key since earlier this year. Luckily, in April, I received a two-page extended warranty from Volkswagen. On May 7th, I brought the car with the warranty to Schumacher in Lake Park, FL for all the repairs. From May 7th to October 1st, I spent over $1,[redacted] on repairs for my Jetta, which has a mileage of 28,[redacted]. During this time, my wife faced difficulties with the key, requiring me or her friends to help. I believe about $[redacted] of the costs are related to the key issue. As I do not have a copy of the extended warranty for this car, I am seeking guidance on how to recover these expenses. Thank you for your assistance. Regards, H. Weiseth.

During my test drive of a [redacted] Tiguan, I noticed intermittent hesitations. Although the salesman assured me it would be fixed before purchase, it was not. After multiple service visits, including a promise of an app update that never materialized, I was informed there was no fix for the issue. The loaner vehicles did not exhibit the same problem. Currently driving an Atlas without hesitation, I am frustrated. The disconnected sunroof ambiance lighting and mold under the front seat also add to my concerns. With the car now back in the shop for flooding, I am seeking a satisfactory resolution. I am disheartened by the multiple problems within the first year of ownership and would like VW to address the issues promptly.

I own a [redacted] Jetta LE with only about 55,[redacted] miles. I regularly take it to VW for maintenance and check-ups. My biggest issue is that every lock mechanism on every door and trunk had to be replaced over the years. When the first one broke, it was covered under warranty. Soon after, I got an extended warranty and had to replace the others. Unfortunately, after my warranty expired, the trunk mechanism failed, costing me over $[redacted]. I think VW should address this recurring issue with the lock mechanisms and consider a recall or reimbursement for the repairs.

Hello,
I encountered an issue with my Passat b6 two days ago. It suddenly stopped moving altogether. Upon using the service computer, I received error code P1260 specifically related to the 1st cylinder. After researching online, I found several customer forums discussing this error, suggesting it might be linked to the injection nozzle. However, I suspect an electrical issue rather than a fault with the injection system. Recently, I had the EGR system modified, and the entire car's computer was reprogrammed by a company. The car ran perfectly for two days until it failed to start.
Although the diagnostic computer cleared the P1260 error temporarily, the problem resurfaced. Some suggest it could be a faulty injection nozzle, while others believe the power wires were incorrectly reprogrammed. I drive a Passat b6 2.0TDI 125kW from [redacted]. I am looking for a solution to fix this issue rather than just diagnosing it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently received a notification about a recall on my vehicle's support bracket for the catalytic converter. This bracket broke twice, and I had it fixed at a muffler shop before I knew about the recall. I submitted a claim for reimbursement after taking it to Car Pros in San Bernardino, an authorized VW dealer. Despite having an appointment, they were unable to assist me and mentioned sending pictures to support my claim. Now, I've received a letter requesting more information from the muffler shop, which is inconvenient for me to visit due to distance and lack of receipts. I wonder about the pictures Car Pros took and the damage my vehicle incurred after the visit. Frustrated with the service, I took my car to another dealership in Ontario, California for unrelated repairs. I've been trying to reach my service representative, Jorge Ramirez, with no success, despite leaving multiple messages since November 26, [redacted].

Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to highlight an issue I experienced with the conduct of your official dealer in Orenburg, Russian Federation. The concern pertains to a Volkswagen Tiguan (VIN XW8ZZZ5NZHG200559) purchased in January [redacted]. Upon inspection, I discovered a hole in the right headlight and undisclosed damages concealed behind the bumper. Despite raising the fogging issue in the headlight during my initial assessment, the dealer reassured me it was insignificant. Subsequently, the hidden damages were uncovered when I visited the official service center in May [redacted] due to fogging returning post car wash.
After an unsatisfactory response from the dealer, I pursued legal action through the Orenburg court. Despite an unfavorable verdict, I am resolute in seeking justice and considering further legal steps. I am disheartened by the discrepancy between Volkswagen's commitment to quality and the dealer's behavior. Attempts to seek assistance from Volkswagen representatives in Russia have been unproductive, leading me to escalate my concerns directly.
Additionally, the upcoming service requirement poses a challenge as I lack trust in the local dealer. The nearest official service centers in Samara and Ufa are located considerable distances away. This predicament may necessitate self-repairs and the potential sale of the vehicle despite my affinity for it. I hold documented evidence of the situation and can provide translations if needed. I respectfully urge you to review my grievance and offer guidance on resolving this matter.
Warm regards,
Galina D

My spouse and I bought a new Polo for R320,[redacted].00, and since the first month, it's been a troublesome experience. Despite going to WEISS Motors in Durban seven times, they failed to fix the issues. They changed the braking system, tires, rims, and more, but the problem persists. The Dealer Principal avoids us, and the staff can't assist due to their hands being tied. We just want a replacement vehicle due to what appears to be a factory fault. The situation is disgraceful for both VW SA and WEISS Motors. The car is back at the dealer today, but I suspect they are delaying until the warranty expires. We will escalate this to local newspapers on January 30, [redacted]. The car's shuddering is a significant safety concern that must be addressed promptly. Regards, D.D Naidoo.

To whom it may concern,
My name is Kai-Yi Wang, and I am reaching out about an issue with my Volkswagen warranty. In January [redacted], I purchased a Volkswagen Tiguan SEL with 4 motion from Spokane AutoNation. Following an accident in September [redacted], I needed to repair the front bumper. Due to the distance from Pullman to Spokane and the difficulty in driving my damaged car there, Spokane AutoNation advised me to have the repairs done at a local body shop in Pullman called Myers. Despite multiple attempts to have the car fixed at Spokane AutoNation, they were unable to accommodate promptly. After the repairs at Myers, I had to return to Spokane AutoNation to address an issue with the radar system, for which I was charged $[redacted].
Subsequently, while driving in Seattle in March [redacted], I discovered further damage to the bumper due to improper repairs. UW Volkswagen confirmed the poor repair job and noted that as I had my car serviced outside of Volkswagen-approved shops, my warranty would not cover the costs. Although my decisions were influenced by Spokane AutoNation, they are now refusing to take responsibility and stating that future repairs would not be covered under warranty. I am hoping for a resolution from Volkswagen regarding this matter.
Thank you for your assistance in advance.

I need assistance regarding a recent experience with the purchase of a VW Fox (plate FEF1525) in Brazil. The Alta dealership in São Paulo sold me a car with a broken rear bumper. Although I requested they cover the repair costs at the Original Veículos dealership in São José dos Campos, they only reimbursed me for 50% of the expenses. After repairing the bumper, I noticed damage to half of the car's surface including the bumper, hood, door, and right side, which requires a full repaint. I prefer not to have my new car repainted and suggested to Adilson from the dealership and Sidnei, the director of Original Veículos, to provide new parts painted at the VW production line nearby, but they declined. I have asked to return the car and receive a refund, but they have refused. I seek support as the customer service from VW in Brazil has been disappointing.

I run an independent automotive repair shop specializing in electrical and computer work. Recently, I bought a BCM from a local dealer and got it programmed at another local dealer. However, after installation, only the center brake light functioned. Reverting to the old BCM fixed the issue, except for the left front marker light. Even after transferring the binary code to the new BCM, the lights wouldn't work. Reinstalling the old BCM fixed everything. After returning the new BCM, I was refused a $[redacted] refund and told there's no warranty for such parts. This situation is frustrating, as I also spent $[redacted] on programming the faulty unit. I seek a refund for the $[redacted] BCM and programming costs. It's disappointing that VW doesn't cover defective parts, causing such a financial loss without a resolution.

Hello, I'm Herbert Carrington. I recently purchased two Volkswagen [redacted] GLI Jettas. When I bought the second car, I made it clear to Ms. Carol, the finance lady, that I did not want any extras such as paint protection or service plans. However, she added a battery service plan for $[redacted] without my consent. When I spotted this a month later as I was setting up automatic bill pay, Ms. Carol refunded the money after I confronted her. I requested a thorough review of my contracts, but Ms. Carol only showed me one page and insisted that was the deal. I escalated the issue to a manager named Mr. Gee, who promised to get back to me in three days, but it's been over a week with no response. I am dissatisfied with Heritage Volkswagen of Catonsville. I seek a refund and the cancellation of the contract without any repercussions. When I questioned Ms. Carol about the price difference for the service plan, she mentioned a coupon she had applied, reducing the cost from $[redacted] the first time to $[redacted] the second time. I am troubled by discovering this coupon after the fact.

I have a [redacted] Passat with a V6 2.8L engine and [redacted],[redacted] miles. It has been well taken care of by its one owner, but recently, I've been experiencing trouble starting it. The dealer mentioned something related to the engine, as the car turns over but doesn't start right away. After about an hour, it starts but sounds like it's running on only 2 or 3 cylinders before smoothing out. I don't want to part with it, but I can't risk getting stranded. The dealer may prefer me to buy a new car, but I really love this one, especially since I don't drive much anymore. A local garage suggested it could be a mass airflow problem, and even after cleaning it, the issue persists. They used a phone app when the check engine light was on to diagnose it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am David Martini, and I bought a [redacted] VW CC Sport Plus with the VIN number WVWBN7AN6DE509130 from Moffitt Mazda in Bossier City, LA. My CC, produced on May 8, [redacted], was delivered on October 5, [redacted]. Recently, I had to replace my intake manifold. Even though there was a known issue with defective intake manifolds in model years [redacted] and [redacted], my VIN was not covered under the warranty extension, resulting in a cost of over $[redacted]. I have all the necessary repair documents, and the replacement was made with an intake manifold from Romania, replacing the faulty German one. After discussing with Mary Jo F. over the phone, she mentioned that my VIN did not qualify for the warranty extension. I kindly request a review to check if my faulty intake manifold can be included in the warranty extension. Thank you for your assistance, and I am eager to receive a response soon.

I would like to buy a [redacted] Passat SEL. The VW website shows that it comes with a "Discover Media 6.3" touchscreen navigation system with a CD player. However, the dealer claims that the [redacted] Passat does not have a CD player. I want to confirm this information as having a CD player is important to me. Thank you.
