I have a CAD50 Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard Gift Card that I activated a while ago. However, when I try to use it online or in stores, it keeps getting denied despite having no deductions according to the vanillaprepaid.com website. I am unable to call the customer service number on the back of the card due to extra charges on my mobile plan. The website states, "ON HOLD Your Card is unable to be used at this time. Please immediately call the customer service number on the back of your Card." The card is valid until May [redacted]. Can this issue be resolved before then?

I purchased a Visa Vanilla Gift Card on the 9th. After waiting 26 hours for activation, I attempted to make a $10 purchase, leaving $20 on the card. Unfortunately, it was declined. Despite being told the card was activated with $20, I encountered issues. Customer service kept me on hold for an hour and a half before the call abruptly ended, without me speaking to an agent. Could someone please email me at [redacted] with guidance on resolving this matter? Alternatively, a text message would be appreciated at [redacted] prior to any phone call.

A few months ago, I bought a Vanilla gift card with a $90 balance. Initially, I used it to purchase an online psychic reading for my mom's birthday right after buying the card. Later, before going on vacation, I checked the balance and found it to be $53.37. Unfortunately, the card didn't work during my vacation, which I chalked up to the location. Back home, I tried to use it online at stores like Walmart and Amazon, but encountered errors. Checking the balance on the Vanilla website also failed, despite entering correct information. I attempted to contact customer service multiple times but was left on hold for extended periods without resolution. I hope to receive a replacement or refund for the card's malfunction.

About two weeks ago, I bought two Vanilla Visa debit cards, one was fine, but the other had no balance, both were for $[redacted], which is a significant amount for me. I called and opened a claim, #[redacted], was informed of an investigation and was told to wait for a response in a few days. Now, it has been a couple of weeks, and despite my attempts to follow up via phone, I have been transferred around, placed on hold for over an hour, and never received a resolution. Kindly provide me with an update either by phone or email soon. I hope I won't need to resort to explaining my frustration on Yelp.

My 15-year-old son lives in Arizona with his dad, while I reside in Colorado Springs. Recently, I purchased a $50 vanilla gift card from CVS to send to him for his birthday. Unfortunately, when he tried to use it, there was no balance left. Shockingly, his dad discovered that someone in Kansas had used the card at a Target store. I am incredibly frustrated and confused about how such a situation could occur. Both my son and I are now out $50, which was meant for his special day. I am determined to get my money back, as this was a significant letdown for my son's birthday celebration.

I tried to make a purchase in the game One Piece Treasure Cruise, but my activated card was not accepted. I thought the card was not activated until I successfully made a purchase on Roblox using it. I only used it on Roblox to test and now I want to refund the transaction; however, my account is currently on hold. I kindly request to have my account reactivated so I can proceed with refunding the $0.99 spent on Roblox.

I am extremely frustrated with this vanilla visa gift card. I am unable to use it anywhere due to the lack of a zip code linked to the card. Unfortunately, contacting customer service only leads to automated responses, making it impossible to speak with a real person. Since it is a digital card, I don't have a physical card to reference for the missing details. I attempted to use it on Amazon, but now my account is inaccessible due to the card issue. I wish there was a way to add a zip code so I could use the card as intended, but I have been unsuccessful in finding a solution or reaching anyone for assistance.

I'm having difficulty getting through to customer service. Yesterday evening, Worldwide Christian charged my account $62.08, which equals $44.97 USD. I contacted them to correct the amount, but they informed me that I needed to authorize a refund. I have been trying to reach you for the past six days without success. I even attempted to make a purchase, which also failed. Please refund the $62.09 CAD back to my card, as I only have $37.90 left in my account. There was only a charge of $1.34 made, and the total balance on the card was $[redacted]. Please address this matter promptly as I urgently need my money back.

I bought a One Vanilla card for $[redacted].00 tonight, and within 15 minutes, it was fraudulently used, and almost all the balance was gone. When I contacted customer support, the first person I spoke with, Rochelle, seemed to be working from home due to farm animal noises in the background. Rochelle only asked for my first name, provided no resolution, and told me to call back in 7 business days. The second person I talked to took my information but could not answer my questions off-script and abruptly ended the call. This morning, I purchased a $[redacted] vanilla gift card to have funds available for booking expenses, as my British bank card does not have sufficient funds. Despite the card showing $[redacted] on the website and being active, I am unable to use it for payments. Various websites are stating that the card details are incorrect or the payment is declined. I am extremely worried as I spent $[redacted] on this card, and if I cannot resolve this issue, I will be left in a dire situation.

I purchased a card, paid $[redacted] in cash, and attempted to buy a $[redacted] pair of shoes, but the card is not working on your website, showing an error repeatedly. I demand a refund immediately, as I am not satisfied with this purchase. Please activate the card or refund my money promptly. I am considering reporting this as fraud, and remember, fraud incurs a triple penalty. I will spread the word online to warn others against buying your problematic gift cards.

I purchased a vanilla Visa gift card from a store and have the receipt. I'm facing trouble using it at various stores. Despite contacting customer service twice and being on hold for 30 minutes each time, I was disconnected abruptly. The card cannot be added to Google Pay or Amazon as advertised on their website. I am also dealing with fraudulent charges, and the remaining balance is inaccessible due to a lock placed on it. After waiting over 45 days, I received an email stating that the investigation is ongoing, but there's no update on the balance. I was informed it could take another 45 days for a resolution. The customer service experience has been extremely disappointing.

I have been attempting to contact someone for several months now. On June 7th, [redacted], an unauthorized purchase of $73 was made on my card for an online site. I have been trying to dispute this charge and receive a refund, but I have not received a response yet.

I am experiencing issues with a Vanilla Visa gift card I purchased. The card was not activated, causing it to be declined when I tried to use it. I am following up on Case #[redacted]1. I received a replacement $[redacted] gift card with instructions to call 1-[redacted] for activation. The call on 12/26/23 led to a man with an Indian accent claiming technical difficulties. I received no confirmation and later discovered the card was drained through a scam with a fraudulent site called Wesgift. After unsuccessful attempts to resolve this, I am now requesting a $[redacted] refund by check due to the ongoing fraudulent activities. I emailed details and photos on 1/18/24 but have not received a response yet.
