I have been contacting Vanilla gift card customer service for 2 months to get a new card. Every time I call, they say the case is pending, asking me to call back in 24-48 hours. I bought a vanilla Visa gift card and loaded $50 onto it. When I got home and opened the package, I was disappointed to find the third set of four numbers on the card was completely scratched off. To my surprise, all the security code numbers on the back were in the same condition. I tried to register the card online, but it wouldn't work. I contacted support, and they confirmed that the card should be working with the money on it, but I'm still unable to use it online or in stores.

I was a victim of robbery in early July by a person named Charles, Charley, or Chuck Atkins, Atkinson, Anderson, or Hodgkinson, who was with a girl named Angela. The incident occurred at [redacted] E. Cedar St. Ravenna, OH. [redacted]. The stolen Vanilla Gift Card from MasterCard had the last four digits [redacted] and may have had an expiration date of [redacted] or [redacted]. The card was misused at an ATM located at [redacted] E. St. Rt. 59. I remember part of the card's pin might have been [redacted], [redacted], 64, 67, or 63. I am on disability and the gift card meant a lot to me as it was a way to give back to those who helped me. I request justice to be served for this crime.

I bought a $[redacted] Vanilla Visa Gift Card on April 7, [redacted]. On April 9, there was a fraudulent charge from Roku for $91.47. I promptly contacted Visa, who suspended the card, initiated a dispute, and issued a $[redacted] replacement card. Even though Roku refunded me on April 12, Visa has not removed the hold on the card or provided the reimbursement yet. It's now September, and I'm still waiting for the payment. This prolonged delay needs to be addressed by sending me the $[redacted] reimbursement for the Vanilla Visa gift card purchase via email.

I have encountered multiple instances of customer service disconnecting my calls after being on hold for a significant amount of time, which is extremely frustrating. I am unable to check the balance of several vanilla gift cards online, as they are being declined. I was informed that this issue might be related to linking them to my PayPal account. I am uncertain whether new cards need to be issued for those that are on hold or declined. I experienced a fire and needed to use vanilla Visa cards to make online purchases. After linking them to my PayPal, I encountered issues due to fraud. Contacting vanilla Visa, they acknowledged the problem and escalated it to a supervisor. I was informed that all purchased Visa cards needed replacement. I was given a Vanilla gift card for my birthday by my mom. The following day, I attempted to use it at a retail store to purchase a few items. To my dismay, the card did not register on the card reader, and there was no beep as expected. I am extremely disappointed with the way my recent issue was handled. I bought a Vanilla gift card for my nephew only to find out that someone had tampered with the card number and security code. Despite my concerns, I was made to feel responsible for the situation. Now I am being told to wait 30 days to receive a refund, which I find completely unacceptable. Not only should I not have to endure this 30-day wait, but I also believe I should be compensated for the embarrassment this has caused me and my nephew.
