I had a disappointing experience with my recent McDonald's delivery order on Friday, October 15th. Despite living only 10-15 minutes away from the restaurant and usually not encountering any issues, this time was different. The delivery time kept changing, and even though it was supposed to be contactless, I had to go outside to find my order unattended. The driver took a while to get out of the car, and by the time I got my food, it was cold and my McMuffin felt like it had been reheated in a microwave and was rock solid. I immediately raised a complaint about the poor quality and received an initial offer of £1.79, which was quite unsatisfactory given the amount I had spent on the meal. However, after some back and forth, I was promised a refund via email. Unfortunately, I still haven't received the refund despite following up on the matter. The automated responses stating it's been over 48 hours are not helpful when I need clarity on my refund status. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied, and I expect to receive my refund promptly without having to continuously chase after it.

Hello, I placed an order on Sunday (10/17) for delivery on Monday (10/18) as a gift. I included instructions for the delivery person to call my friend, providing their phone number as the recipient needed to meet them for access. Despite the instructions, the delivery person did not call the friend's number, instead contacting me and expressing impatience. I notified the delivery person that my friend was en route to meet them at the entrance. Unfortunately, the delivery person left before my friend arrived, claiming they would leave the food outside. However, upon checking, the food was nowhere to be found at any entrance. This experience was frustrating, and as the food was not delivered, I am requesting a refund of $14.04 for order D07FC.

I signed up for Uber Ride and found that Uber Eats was automatically added to my account without my consent. I have unintentionally been charged for Uber Eats for 6 months now, and I'm unable to remove it through the online platform. I want to cancel this service and receive a refund since I do not use it at all. I ordered a KFC meal through Uber Eats and used a £15 off voucher for new customers. Despite paying for the remainder of the meal, the order I received was completely wrong and not what I had requested. The food and drinks were not what I ordered, and unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The items were less than what we had initially ordered, and the food was cold as I tried to figure out where my correct order was. Even though the receipt had my items listed, they were not in the bag. After contacting both the Uber driver and KFC, I was unable to resolve the issue. I reached out to Uber Eats through the app, provided photos, and was only refunded the amount I paid, not including the £15 discount voucher. I am now left without the voucher and without having had a proper meal. Is there any way to retrieve the £15 voucher? Thank you.

This is my second email regarding the order I placed with Uber Eats from Hooters restaurant in Brandon, FL on October 16, [redacted]. The order total was $46.98 and unfortunately, the food was inedible. I have yet to receive any response from Uber Eats. The order arrived extremely cold, almost as if it had been refrigerated. The boneless and regular wings I ordered were so tough they could not be cut with a knife. I spoke with the Hooters manager, Donte, who mentioned that the order was picked up right after the wings were cooked, and suggested I contact Uber Eats for resolution. He also offered to discuss the matter with Uber Eats if needed. As a frequent customer, this order not meeting standards was disappointing, resulting in discarding the entire order. I am requesting a refund due to what seems to be a time or delivery problem, as discarding almost $47 worth of food is unfortunate. The lack of response to my initial email is also disappointing. Please address this promptly.

I have been an Uber Eats customer for years, paying $9.99/month for the Eats Pass. This pass typically waives delivery fees and provides a 5% discount on orders from restaurants with a green ticket. However, since my order on 10/19/21 at McDonalds, the pass has not been applied properly to my last 6 orders. Despite notifying Uber Eats each time, I receive the same canned response and have to contact support for a refund after each order. I always order from restaurants with a green ticket for free delivery and have informed Uber Eats about this ongoing issue before each order. Despite this, I continue to face the same problem with my Eats Pass not being applied automatically. Instead of receiving generic emails requesting charge details, I want Uber Eats to address and resolve the issue with my Eats Pass not working correctly on every order. Good evening, I am deeply upset about what happened. I placed three orders for delivery at home, and both the restaurant owner and I experienced a massive inconvenience. The restaurant owner contacted your number, and they were informed that due to issues with the delivery riders, the status of the orders kept changing from home delivery to pick up. Sadly, I didn't receive anything all afternoon, and the restaurant owner had to discard everything. It was promised that both the restaurant owner and I would receive a refund, but to date, I only see a credit on my credit card. This behavior is truly shameful. I have had a terrible experience with UberEats' customer service. I contacted them multiple times via email to report a glitch in their ordering system. While placing an order, the app froze, and I had to exit. I decided to order from a different restaurant since I couldn't reach UberEats due to having guests over. An hour later, I received a notification that the original order went through, unbeknownst to me as we were enjoying the dinner from the other restaurant. The sushi meal I ordered was delivered without the driver alerting us and arrived late when we were already full. I provided screenshots of the order timing and proof of ordering elsewhere to UberEats support. We managed to give away the meal to someone in the neighborhood who hadn't eaten yet. Despite this, UberEats only offered me a $15 voucher for a $[redacted] meal, which I found to be very disappointing.

Hello, I am new to Uber Eats and have heard amazing reviews about your service. I decided to try your company through the app. Due to being mentally ill and registered disabled, leaving the house and meeting strangers is a significant challenge for me. Upon joining the app, I was advised that I would receive £15 off my first two orders. I used one discount on a previous order where the food was left in my porch. Unable to leave my house, I waited until 8.30 pm to use my second £15 off, but it did not work. This situation has caused me significant distress as I cannot leave the house and cannot afford to reorder. I believe a company of your size should have policies in place for vulnerable adults. I recently received a delivery from Montana's and was disappointed with my pulled pork sandwich. Instead of being pulled, the pork was in large chunks. The sandwich contained a piece of pork fat, skin, and possibly bone that caused me to vomit. The quality of meat was extremely poor, and I am shocked that Montana's would serve such a sandwich. The rice pilaf tasted metallic, so I couldn't eat that either. On a positive note, the cornbread was delicious, and I would order it again. I am requesting a refund, preferably back to my card instead of my Uber Eats account.

I ordered a meal tonight on my way home around 1:10 am. The estimated delivery time was 45-50 minutes, but I requested priority, which shortened it to 35-40 minutes. However, my meal didn't arrive until approximately 2:30 am. I believe that if priority isn't met, we shouldn't be charged for it. The driver had to wait at the restaurant even though the order was placed an hour prior. Unfortunately, your app doesn't allow us to report these types of issues or cancel an order when the restaurant is about to close. I downloaded Uber Eats to try it out after using other delivery services but was incredibly disappointed. While I don't like to complain, it's frustrating not being able to contact a human to address issues that don't fit within the app's explanations.

I placed an order on Uber Eats today, but when I got home, my food was missing. The delivery person asked for a code, which I provided, assuming they had dropped off the delivery, but it was nowhere to be found. I was charged for food I never received, leaving me embarrassed at a party with no food. When I tried to complain on the app after giving the code, I was unable to do so. This policy is not clear and I am frustrated. I am requesting a refund for the undelivered order. It would have been helpful if it was stated in the app that complaints or refunds are not possible after providing the code. The delivery person did not mention this at all. I would have asked them to wait if I had known. I hope you can understand the situation and issue a refund promptly.

This is my third complaint with Uber Eats. I was referred by a neighbor while at a local hospital with family, in charge of food. Our first order never showed, but Uber Eats fixed it. When we tried to pick up the second order ourselves, they refused, stating it was against their policy. During the delivery, my wife was insulted, even though we are not Black. Despite being offended, we received incorrect burgers. Another order from 7-Eleven for pizza was unsuccessful, even after being charged. With family in the hospital with Covid, I am frustrated as my money and credits were taken. Uber Eats may not be suitable for my family in this neighborhood. I had a disappointing experience with Uber Eats ASDA. I ordered dog food that was unavailable, but I wasn't informed to cancel. Additionally, while applying a 50% off discount for groceries, the app glitched, charging me full price even after updating my payment method. I was charged over £25 instead of the expected cheaper price with the discount. The inability to cancel, lack of notification about unavailable items, and the issue with the discount code has left me frustrated. I await communication about a refund for the unavailable items and find it distressing that accessing support from Uber has been difficult.

Part 3: PayPal is currently investigating the issue. A suggestion was made by another UberEats customer to report the problem via their app. However, as I have never used UberEats and do not have an account, I am unable to do so. It seems unreasonable that non-customers are unable to report fraudulent activity to UberEats. Part 2: While I was on the phone with PayPal, another fraudulent charge of $5.00 was made to UberEats, likely as a tip by the individual who hacked into my PayPal account. UberEats needs to refund both fraudulent charges made on October 25th, [redacted]. I would like to know who received the product that was ordered so that I can involve the police in the investigation. On October 25th, [redacted], someone unauthorized accessed my PayPal account at 7:40 am and made a purchase of $77.80 through UberEats. PayPal has been notified, and they have initiated a case with their fraud department. They recommended contacting UberEats, but unfortunately, there is no phone number available for non-customers to call UberEats directly. The transaction is pending, so I request not to process it. I made an order for Spur, Cherokee on October 25, [redacted], at 7:30 pm, totaling R259.16. The order included Half Nachos Mexicana, Oreo Shake, and Veggie Schnitzel. I am still waiting for my delivery as it is now 9:40 pm. The driver's journey seemed erratic, going from 5th Street to Rhodes Park, and then Jules Street. Despite multiple attempts to contact the driver, named Danisa with the plate number JP72DSGP, at [redacted], I have not received a response. I am disappointed by the service and false promises made by the company. I have evidence of the delays and lack of communication. I am deeply unsatisfied and simply seeking a refund.

I canceled my order on October 19, [redacted], but the charge still shows on my credit card. Despite contacting customer service via email, they claim I can't get a refund because it's been over two days. This seems unfair, as I canceled the order and even had to pay a cancellation fee. I immediately placed a larger order with the same company afterwards. I believe I'm entitled to a refund without having to plead for it. I demand to escalate this matter to a supervisor. I recently utilized my reward points to enjoy a meal at Mike's Jersey Subs. I expected to receive a complimentary sub with my points, worth up to $10 off. When I selected Mike's Jersey Subs on Uber Eats, the discount was applied at checkout but was not reflected in the final payment. Unfortunately, I did not receive an order confirmation, although my account was charged. Despite reaching out to customer service, I have not received a refund or credit for the reward points used.
