Dear Support Team, I am writing regarding Order #2316C. I had an extremely disappointing experience with Uber Eats on the 25th around 8:40 PM when I ordered food for my son, as my wife was not home. Initially, the estimated time of arrival was 9:35 PM but kept getting delayed to 9:50 PM, then to 10 PM, and so on. When I sought help through the app at 10:15 PM, I was informed that if I canceled, I would be charged $20, so we continued waiting. The ETA was further rescheduled to 10:50 PM, and after reaching out for assistance again, it was reduced to $4 credit if I waited. Finally, at 11 PM, I received a notification that the order was canceled, leaving my child hungry and disappointed. Regrettably, I decided to reorder today to make it up to my son, only to encounter the exact same situation. To add to the frustration, I was charged twice and told that a $4 refund was issued for the canceled order, with no further steps required. This level of customer service falls far below the standard I expect from Uber. I kindly request a refund of my money and ask for improved accountability regarding delivery times in the future. I want to report an incident with my recent Burger King delivery. A significant portion of my sandwich was missing and had what looked like a bite mark. After contacting the app, they promised to reach out to me. Although they called, I missed it. I followed up via email but received no response. It's a food safety concern, and I observed the charge went through today. I believe I'm owed a refund for the sandwich and would like to discuss this matter further. I previously sent a picture of the issue with my complaint but can no longer access it as it was within the app and not saved in my photos. While I frequently use Uber Eats, issues like incorrect orders or missing items do occur. However, food tampering is a serious issue that must be addressed at the restaurant level. I placed an order at 17:41 today, and R182.82 was deducted from my account. When I checked Uber Eats, the delivery time was 17:45-18:05. I contacted Rebels Pizza multiple times but faced issues with my order not being found. After over an hour and a half of waiting, the manager promised to call back but never did. We didn't receive our order or any updates. We ordered 2 large pizzas: Hawaii and Avo & Bacon, but they never arrived. I am requesting a full refund and seeking clarification on what caused this inconvenience.

I would like to address an issue with Ubereat. I submitted a problem report regarding an order (#A073E) from BARBEQUE KING CITY on July 6, [redacted], totaling $[redacted].00, where the delivery was made to the wrong address. Despite multiple attempts to receive a refund, I have not been reimbursed. I feel frustrated by the lack of responsibility from Ubereat, and if this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate my complaint to Consumer Affairs. I possess evidence of the delivery mishap, as confirmed by an email from Ubereat, indicating a clear error. I had a troubling customer service encounter recently. My Uber Eats order didn't go through due to an app glitch, resulting in me placing a new order elsewhere. To my surprise, the original order arrived later. Despite explaining this to customer service with detailed screenshots, they provided unhelpful and robotic responses, failing to acknowledge the app's error. This experience, coupled with ongoing issues on the Uber Eats app, has been disappointing. It seems my frequent complaints have caused more harm than good. Yesterday, as a caregiver in companionship care, I used the Uber Eats app to order food for a client. The order, totaling $40, was placed for a 9:00 p.m. delivery time. However, the driver called to inform me that the restaurant was unable to fulfill the order due to food unavailability. Despite trying multiple times to cancel the order, I was unsuccessful as the driver had already picked it up. I requested for the order to be cancelled on their end, but the driver abruptly hung up. I urgently need a refund for the transaction charged to the card ending in [redacted] and for the order to be cancelled promptly. This situation was unprofessional, and as a business account holder, I require immediate resolution for this matter.

Hello, I am reaching out from Canada with a message for the team behind the Uber Eats "JANINNNNE!" campaign. Please, consider stopping. The repetitiveness, nasal tone, and overall annoyance of the advertisement have become unbearable. Every time I hear "JANINNNNE!" my ears cringe, and I scramble to change the channel swiftly. I urge for a halt to this campaign. Hopefully, it will conclude post-Olympics. There is no need for a response, as I understand contracts are in place, but I hope for relief from this grating ad soon. Despite not being an Uber Eats user myself, I recognize its popularity. However, the focus remains on the bothersome nature of your current commercial. Thank you.

I placed an order for food 2.5 hours ago. The delivery was supposedly on the way an hour and 20 minutes ago but has not arrived yet. Despite calling twice and being told it would be here in minutes, that was 30 minutes ago. I find this situation unacceptable and request a refund. Additionally, I want to address the issue where my calls were not answered the second time, however, when my partner called a few seconds later from a different number, they picked up immediately. It seems like they were avoiding my calls when they knew it was me following up on our order.

I am disappointed with the resolution of my complaint from yesterday. After a long work shift, I ordered £14 worth of food for myself and my partner through Uber Eats. When the driver arrived, he only had one bag containing just the drink. The driver confirmed he was given only one bag and showed us his phone to prove it. I asked if he could go back for the rest, but he couldn't. He suggested contacting Uber Eats for a refund since the full order was missing. I filed a complaint on the app and attached a photo as evidence. Despite my partner visiting McDonald's to report the issue and being advised to seek a refund through Uber Eats, I have yet to receive one. I plan to inform my family and friends not to use Uber Eats due to this experience of not receiving the £14 refund I am owed.

I received my RBC Rewards Visa Gold statement for July [redacted] and noticed a charge of $57.59 dated June 22, [redacted] from Uber Eats Help.Uber.Com Amsterdam, BC. I do not have any account with Uber and have never used their services. I am confused about how this charge appeared on my Visa statement without any dealings with Uber. Good evening, I am contacting you because I placed an order 2 hours ago from a restaurant located 3 minutes away from me that has still not arrived. I have contacted the restaurant, and they confirmed they prepared the order, but it is still there as the Uber Eats delivery driver never came to pick it up. I have tried to reach out to the driver, who ignored my messages but told the restaurant they would arrive in 10 minutes. The driver falsely claimed to have picked up the order when it's still at the restaurant, and now I cannot cancel it. The dishonesty of this driver is UNACCEPTABLE! They are causing the restaurant to lose money from the wasted food and wasting my time waiting for an order that will never arrive! I want a refund and most importantly, I want this scammer to be penalized!

Yesterday, on Sunday, August 1st, I placed an order at the diner near my house. Although the restaurant quickly prepared the food, the delivery driver made stops at three other locations in the city before reaching me. When I contacted the driver regarding this issue, he was unhelpful and then blocked my number. The delivery took an hour to arrive from a location only 6 minutes away on foot. The driver did not resemble the photo, the vehicle indicated a bike but was actually a car, he did not wear a mask, and displayed rude behavior. Furthermore, the car smelled of marijuana upon arrival. The food was cold and in poor condition when it finally reached me, and I am not willing to pay for such subpar service. I have been a loyal customer but have encountered similar issues with other drivers in the past. I urge you to address this problem with your staff promptly. I request a full refund for this order, including the tip. If this matter is not resolved, I will have no choice but to discontinue using your service. It is imperative to maintain respect towards customers at all times. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am extremely disappointed. This is my first time using the service, and it has been terrible. I placed an order at double the price of in-store, ensuring it would arrive in time for my husband's and my lunch. The estimated delivery time was 12:45. However, the driver arrived only to discover that my order was never submitted. Around 12:35, I received a notification that my order was still not placed, and the driver needed to order it, which would take an additional 30 minutes to cook before delivery. By the time it arrives, we will both be back at work and miss our lunch entirely. This $84 lunch mishap is frustrating, and I feel cheated. This experience is enough to deter me from using this app ever again. The driver seemed lost on what to do and couldn't provide guidance because she had no contact information for the company she works for. There are too many companies out there providing such poor service like this one.

I ordered from Macs and Stacks on Uber Eats with priority delivery to ensure my food arrived fresh and on time. Despite the promised delivery by 6:45, it arrived at 7:20, half an hour late. The driver seemed lost and was on the phone with support for directions. I requested a full refund of $ 53.26 as the food was inedible upon arrival due to the delayed delivery and lack of directions for the driver. The driver mentioned it should be listed as bar louie, as it is located inside that establishment.

Hello, I have been trying to contact someone regarding an issue I am experiencing without success. I placed an order at Sula restaurant, and the order time was changed from 30 minutes to 1 hour and 20 minutes. I canceled the order immediately and notified customer service. They refunded me, but the charge still appeared in my wallet. When I tried to reorder, they charged me again for the same purchase. After contacting my bank and providing proof of the initial refund, they reimbursed me. Now, I cannot use the app for something I was refunded for but later charged again. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I placed an order on Uber Eats for McDonald's delivery, but after waiting for over 2 and a half hours, my order still hasn't arrived. When I contacted the McDonald's restaurant, they informed me that the driver, named Syed Kamrul, didn't show up to collect my order. Despite their advice to cancel the order for a full refund, I cannot do so as the Uber Eats app isn't allowing me. I tried contacting the driver directly, but he claimed not to work for Uber Eats and was uncooperative. The order number is #CA244, placed at 13:53, for a total of £10.17 from the McDonald's on Wessington Way in Sunderland. I placed an order with George's Burger on July 30th through Uber Eats using a 30% off coupon, but I realized afterwards that I needed to spend $50 after taxes for the discount. I reached out to customer support but didn't get a response. I canceled the first order and placed a new one with extra tazikki sauce to meet the promotion requirements. The second order was missing the extra sauce I added, indicating they fulfilled the first order only. The calamari was overcooked and soggy, placed on damp lettuce with brown spots. Uber Eats hasn't refunded my initial order (#98A75) because the restaurant had started preparing it, but I received the second order (#46B5F) without issues. It seems unfair to pay twice for the same items due to a technicality, as the restaurant and Uber Eats gained $54.60 from me. I hope this can be resolved promptly.

Hello, we are regular customers on UberEats and have never encountered any issues until today. We placed an order, and as the delivery driver appeared to be close, the tracking app showed he was 1 minute away, but he never arrived. Despite waiting in anticipation, we were left puzzled as the app suddenly marked the order as completed when no food was delivered. We selected the "meet at door" option, and even checked outside, finding nothing. This order was meant as a special birthday treat for my boyfriend, and now we are unsure what steps to take next or if our food will arrive. UberEats informed me that the driver claimed to have waited for 9 minutes outside, but we never saw him. We feel let down by UberEats' response and believe they could have at least facilitated returning the food to the restaurant for us to collect. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I had a disappointing experience with KFC recently. After placing my order, an employee called to say they were out of pot pies. When my order arrived, the chicken was old and greasy, and my famous bowl had meat, even though I requested it without. Despite spending nearly $50, I only received one set of biscuits instead of the two I ordered. I used Uber Eats at 7:10 p.m. I ordered from a restaurant 8 minutes away from my house in ideal traffic conditions. The app initially estimated delivery between 7:35-7:55 p.m. However, at 8:05 p.m., the app indicated the food was on its way. By 8:20 p.m., I called the restaurant to inquire about my order, and they mentioned it was still waiting to be picked up. A subsequent call at 8:30 p.m. revealed they were contacting Uber about the driver's whereabouts. At 8:50 p.m., the driver attempted to deliver a melted frozen drink, and I declined the order. The driver blamed the restaurant for the delay. I am requesting a refund due to the unsatisfactory service. The delay seemed unwarranted as there were no adverse weather conditions or traffic congestion in my area during that time. The order being an hour overdue is unacceptable.
