I created an account on Ubereats, but only managed to input a landline number. Ubereats accepted the number but now requires phone verification before placing orders. Unfortunately, I cannot receive the verification code on a landline. I would like to change the landline number, [redacted], to a cell number, [redacted]. The app won't allow me to change it without sending a verification code to the existing number. I am unable to do this through the website or the app. Can anyone help me resolve this issue? I encountered false advertising and unauthorized PayPal account use with UberEats. My first order as a new customer did not honor the $25 off promotion despite meeting the requirements. Additionally, despite having a $30 gift card balance, UberEats charged my card for the full amount of the order. During our Virtual Work Christmas party, I planned to use a $30 UberEats gift card but faced issues with applying it. Despite receiving a promo code '25TRYEATS,' it was deemed invalid. Upon uploading the $30 gift card (Card #:#### [redacted]) and placing a $50.97CAD order, the balance was not automatically deducted during payment as expected. Despite seeking assistance via their support platform and highlighting the discrepancy, UberEats did not resolve the issue satisfactorily. Their lack of a resolution-focused response and refusal to acknowledge the promo code or credit back the gift card amount were disappointing. This experience has led me to caution others about this company.

I am experiencing issues with my Uber Eats account and cannot input my phone number as requested. Despite my attempts, the mobile app doesn't provide a place for me to enter it. I recently placed an order worth about $50 but it was never sent to the restaurant. Although it attempted to charge my Discover card, the transaction is now on hold. I had a disturbing incident with my Butternut Squash Ravioli from Cagney’s in Streetsville. The dish, advertised as vegetarian, had a hidden prosciutto garnish. Despite being assured it was a garnish, discovering meat in my meal was unpleasant. When requesting a refund, I was only offered a replacement meal. This experience was frustrating, and I advise caution when ordering vegetarian dishes to ensure they are truly meat-free. It's important for restaurants to accurately label their dishes to prevent misunderstandings like mine.

Hello, this is Katherine. I recently had an issue with a delivery order from Bonefish Grill in New Jersey. I ordered a Scallop & Shrimp and a Bang Bang Shrimp to be delivered to my address at [redacted] Fire Rd, Unit F, Egg Harbor, NJ [redacted]. As an Uber Premier member, I couldn't input my phone number on the app. The problem arose when I saw my order marked as "order complete" but found nothing at my door. Upon speaking with customer service, I learned the driver went to the wrong address, took the order, and falsely marked it complete. I was assured that actions would be taken against the driver. Unfortunately, the meal I ordered for my mom's birthday never arrived, and I seek either a refund or a replacement order to avoid disappointment. Hello! Earlier this week, I received a notification for five 40% off coupons. When I tried to activate them, they disappeared.
The same thing happened before with five 50% off coupons. However, I never encountered issues with the 25% or 30% off coupons disappearing.
I'm unsure why this keeps happening, but it's frustrating when trying to access the higher percentage coupons. It's almost like trying to contact Uber Eats, which has become increasingly difficult to reach.
I would appreciate receiving the coupons I was offered and any tips on ensuring they don't disappear when I click the link.

I signed up a couple of days ago, and yesterday I received an email with a $25 promo. I tried to apply it yesterday, but it almost worked and then the app closed. When I checked again, the promo was gone. I attempted to apply it through the app, but the apply button didn't work. When I tried the website version, it said I had already applied it, but the promo still isn't showing up. I've been experiencing issues with the promo not working for the past two days.

I contacted to place an order for two Starbucks items, but the order got canceled before completion. When I tried to reorder, the transaction went through multiple times, resulting in a total charge of almost $24. My bank indicates that I have been overcharged by around $70. Despite the charges, I never received the orders. Additionally, I was supposed to receive three $10 promotional discounts for future purchases, but only received two. To make matters worse, when I used the discounts, I still didn't receive the third one. This situation has been frustrating and I am seeking a resolution.

This morning at 11:48, I ordered a pizza from Papa John's. During checkout, a loading error occurred, prompting me to retry later. After reopening the page, I successfully placed the order. However, I later received confirmation for both orders despite the initial error. I need a refund for the duplicate order, as both orders are identical. I believe this error was due to a website issue and not my doing.

Hello, I am hoping to address a serious concern I encountered today, December 20th. An Uber Eats delivery was made to [redacted] Main Street in Vancouver, BC at 12:57 PM. As I was in the elevator going up from the parking lot, wearing my mask, the UberEats driver stopped the elevator at ground level. Despite not wearing a mask, the driver attempted to enter the elevator after saying he had forgotten his mask. I promptly told him not to come in, but he ignored my request and stepped inside. Unfortunately, the doors closed and could not be reopened since he was buzzed into the same floor I was going to. This behavior is unacceptable. It is important that drivers delivering to multiple locations wear masks and do not enter an elevator with someone else without permission. I am shocked by my first-time order where the food cost over £24. Unfortunately, the order was not delivered and was picked up by the service provider for a full refund. However, I have not received the full refund despite multiple follow-ups. I have been unsuccessful in getting a phone number or email for further assistance as the live chat has not been helpful. I believe that in the case of a faulty product being collected, a full refund should be issued promptly, which has not been the case here despite four days passing and numerous messages sent. It's frustrating to see additional charges like a £2.50 service fee and double delivery fees when the primary purpose of paying these fees is for protection and convenience. I expected better service and transparency in this situation.

I placed four orders last night to surprise my friends in four different locations. The first order I sent to [redacted] Falls Point Trail, Alpharetta GA [redacted] was supposed to be left at the door as a surprise, but the delivery person took it back with her and did not return it, so I had to reorder. The second order for the same address was supposed to be 1 dozen donuts, but they only delivered 2 coffees and a 1/2 dozen donuts.
The second delivery was to [redacted] Sandpiper Lane Aliso Veijo CA [redacted] and consisted of a 1/2 dozen donuts and cold brew coffee, yet my friend did not receive it. I am extremely disappointed with Uber Eats and will not be using their services again.

I placed an order for a large McDonald's meal worth over £60 through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the delivery was significantly delayed, and when it finally arrived, the food was cold. The delivery person mistakenly left the order at the wrong doorstep and, thinking I was unresponsive, had to return to the incorrect address to retrieve it and bring it to me. I had to walk up my street to locate the driver. Despite reaching out to customer service, I have not received a satisfactory response. The size of the order and my loyalty as a frequent Uber Eats customer make this experience particularly disappointing.

I've noticed that there have been charges of $9.99 every month from September to December [redacted] for an Eats Pass subscription that I did not sign up for.
After receiving a free pass in August without my agreement, I realized that subsequent charges were made without my consent.
I am seeking a refund promptly as Uber Eats processed these charges falsely. I have not used any services related to this pass and am not interested.

I recently received an Uber Eats cash voucher worth $50 from the Chinese Community Policing Centre, but only $38.90 is reflected in my account. Could you please explain why there is a discrepancy?

I have been attempting to cancel my Eats Pass following the instructions provided, but have been unable to find the option to turn off "auto renew." Despite trying for two days, I have not had any success in cancelling the pass. Uber Eats does not have customer service representatives available to answer calls, leaving me uncertain about what steps to take. As a precaution, I have instructed my bank to block any future charges from Uber Eats and to prevent any payments, including the $9.99 Eats Pass fee. I have decided to close my Uber Eats account and discontinue using the service altogether. It is disappointing to feel that customers are being taken advantage of for extra profit instead of being well-served and valued. I have had positive experiences with Grubhub, where such issues do not arise. Please ensure that my information is removed from your system.

I was charged for a pass, the money was deducted from my bank account, yet I did not receive the pass. As you have charged me for a service I did not receive, I am requesting a refund. I no longer wish to engage in business with your company as it has been extremely difficult to contact you. Please reverse the charge. It is unacceptable to take payment and fail to deliver the service. This incident feels like theft to me, and I am adamant about severing ties with your company. Kindly refund the money that was taken for a service I no longer want due to the unsatisfactory experience with your organization.
