I scheduled a ride for Sunday night through Turo, and my payment was accepted without any issues. However, one hour before I was supposed to pick up the car, I received a message saying my membership was denied, which led to Turo canceling my trip. This caused me to miss a court appearance and now have a warrant for my arrest. Even though I was promised a full refund by three different agents, I only received a partial refund. When I inquired about the remaining amount, I was informed it was withheld due to a late cancellation fee. I did not cancel the trip; Turo did because of the membership denial that happened last minute. I am still owed $41.62. Turo's handling of this situation has caused me a lot of trouble, from missing court to dealing with financial losses. It has been frustrating to only communicate through chat instead of speaking with a live representative to resolve this matter promptly.

Three days ago, I selected a car rental on the turtle platform for a 7-day period, costing $[redacted]. However, upon entering my debit card details, I received a notice stating that my account was restricted. I contacted live support, who informed me that another account linked to an old email with the same debit card was causing the restriction. Despite requesting for the old account to be removed and the current one reassessed, the process is taking longer than the initially mentioned 24 to 48 hours, now exceeding three days. I am writing to report an issue regarding one of your hosts, Gregorio Palomino, also known as Gregorio on your platform, who is operating a rental business in a residential subdivision against the association's rules. In violation of the subdivision's Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CCRs), the host offers rentals of vehicles, including a [redacted] Polaris Slingshot, a [redacted] Polaris Slingshot, and a [redacted] Chevrolet Silverado [redacted]. The Property Management Company has already notified the host to cease this commercial activity, which is disrupting the peace and tranquility of the neighborhood. The host's misleading statements regarding parking arrangements and the disturbance caused by renters, such as noisy late-night returns, are unacceptable. We, as residents, urge your intervention to relocate this rental operation to a suitable location outside our neighborhood to preserve our peaceful residential setting. I made a reservation (ID [redacted]5) for a car in Orlando through your website for December 30, [redacted], with Lunie Nezier. However, she canceled our booking on the day of pickup while we were traveling from Seattle. As a result, we were stranded at the airport and had to rent another car from Budget, incurring an additional cost of $[redacted].27. I believe your company is responsible for refunding this amount. Hello, I am Shahryar M. My phone number is [redacted]. I reserved a car on June 26th for a one-day outing. Upon pick-up, the car had an empty gas tank. I informed the host who claimed the previous renter forgot to refuel. I refilled the tank for $68 and provided the receipt. After the trip, I refilled the tank again for $48 before returning the car with a full tank. The host now refuses to reimburse me for the gas, insisting I should have returned it empty, which isn't practical. I am unable to predict the exact mileage or fuel consumption beforehand. Besides, driving until the tank is empty can damage the car! This situation is unacceptable. I seek reimbursement for the fuel expenses incurred on another person's vehicle. My Turo rental car was unlawfully towed from in front of my duplex. It was parked in my usual spot. All my belongings were inside when it was towed, and I haven't retrieved them yet. The person who rented it to me has not responded to my numerous attempts to contact him. I need to know the tow company's name to dispute this and retrieve my items, but this information hasn't been provided. Also, I must find out where to collect my belongings and dispute a false smoking claim as I do not smoke. I only had the car for a day and a half before it was towed, and I paid over $1,[redacted]. I've tried contacting him through the app and text with no luck. Please assist me in resolving this with the tow company promptly. Thank you.

I have booked a Turo vehicle for pick-up tomorrow. I am the main driver, and my son tried to become an additional driver but was denied due to Turo saying he has two accounts. This is incorrect as he only opened one account at my request for driving assistance. He reached out for clarification on this issue and received a list of potential reasons for the denial without a specific explanation. This denial seems unreasonable considering he has a good driving record and is authorized to drive various company vehicles in Atlanta, GA, where he works. Moreover, his employer provides him with a vehicle for regular use.

I recently used Turo and generally enjoyed it. However, upon reviewing my credit card statements, I'm becoming frustrated with Turo. I wasn't aware that the price to extend my rental would be higher than the original booking rate. This practice feels deceptive. My total spending with Turo has exceeded a thousand dollars in the past month. I realized that for the same amount, I could have rented a vehicle from Enterprise for nearly two months. If I had known about the pricing difference for extensions, I would have made a more informed choice.

I rented a car from Sunday, January 14, until Thursday, January 18. An unforeseen event prevented me from returning the car on Thursday as planned. I was only able to get back to the car's location on Friday afternoon, but the car was no longer there. I believe it was towed, which I understand. However, I had many of mine and my mother's belongings in the car, as we were planning to drop them off at my mom's house on the way to return the rental on Thursday. Due to the unforeseen circumstances, I could only return to the car on Friday, and it had apparently been towed. I am seeking guidance on how to retrieve our belongings.
