Hello,
I visited your store this morning on 3/8/20 at 9:34 am at [redacted] Washington St, Stoughton MA [redacted]. I noticed the only shopping cart outside was dirty and stray. When I asked for a new one in a box, I was informed they did not have any. The 2-foot aluminum step ladder had scratches on it which I needed. I suggested a discount due to the outside wear but was denied. The young man struggled with entering codes and placing the item in my car, fearing it may damage the fabric. Another clerk quickly assisted, and I was able to leave within a minute. I am disappointed and not satisfied with the experience. I kindly request a partial refund as a courtesy to regain my trust in True Value, otherwise, I may consider shopping at Rocket's Ace Hardware in Canton MA instead. Thank you.
