I recently discovered that my account on Tinder has been banned, and I am unsure of the reason behind this decision. I was attempting to log in, only to find out that I was banned. I pride myself on being respectful to others on the app, and I do not recall behaving inappropriately towards anyone. However, if unknowingly I have caused any offense, I sincerely apologize and ask for forgiveness. My intention was never to be disrespectful, and if I made a mistake, I am truly sorry. To the Tinder team and those who reported me, I humbly seek your forgiveness and hope to have my account reinstated. I value treating everyone with courtesy and kindness, and I am eager to continue my search for a potential partner. Thank you.

I informed a man on the app who appeared to be dangerous, seeking to engage with 18-year-olds for inappropriate activities in return for money, that I was underage to gauge his response and report him. Despite being a 39-year-old pretending to be 19, I disclosed that I was 15 to test his intentions. Shortly after unmatching and reporting him, my account was unexpectedly suspended, despite being 18 and having submitted my ID for verification purposes.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding the email I sent to Tinder concerning a ban issue. I received an automated response from the support team. My name is Justin, and I am inquiring about my Tinder account associated with...(redacted). I have been using the account in Japan for a few weeks and recently purchased a one-year Tinder Premium Subscription on Feb. 2, [redacted]. After making numerous right swipes following the subscription purchase, my account was unexpectedly put under review and subsequently banned the following day. I suspect this action was due to an excessive number of right swipes in a short period. However, I am unable to locate any specific guidelines prohibiting this behavior in the Community Guidelines I reviewed. I promptly used the subscription I paid for but did not breach any rules or utilize unauthorized third-party services. I respectfully request clarification on the ban reason and kindly ask for the reconsideration of unbanning my account. Thank you, Justin

Hello, a few days ago, I attempted to delete my Tinder account. When I encountered difficulties, I reached out to Tinder for assistance via email at [redacted] While I initially wanted to delete my account, the excellent service I received made me change my mind, so I sent another email requesting to keep my account open. It seems like my request was not processed, as my account was deleted. I decided to renew my account, but it was soon banned. Despite seeking clarification on the issue via email, I did not receive a response regarding the "Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen." Although I received a message on my mobile device prompting me to open the Tinder app, my banned account prevented me from doing so. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Hello, I recently discovered a charge of approximately $28 from the app 'Tinder' on my account. After finding out how to officially cancel my long-standing subscription through Google Play, I realized that merely removing my card information from the app 1-2 years ago did not cancel my subscription, which has led to monthly charges ever since despite my account being inactive. I am seeking a refund or the opportunity to discuss my situation with a manager at Tinder to clarify the issue. Continuously being charged for a subscription I believed to have been canceled is frustrating. Thank you.

It seems like I am experiencing issues with my Tinder account. I have noticed that I am unable to match with anyone, my likes are not being sent, and the night mode slider in settings is not working properly. I tried to delete my account but learned that it is not possible. I am currently subscribed to Tinder Platinum, but I cannot use any of the features due to these problems. Tinder lacks intellectual conversations and could benefit from updates tailored to users seeking deeper interactions. The current "common interests" prompts are uninspired. Suggestions for prompts like "intelligence," "physics," or "international monetary systems" would be more engaging than the existing options like "wine" and "Instagram." It would be valuable to have features in live chats or explore sections for individuals looking for meaningful intellectual discussions on various causes or topics. Finding someone interested in more than just drinking and hooking up can be frustrating. Expressing a desire for a platform that encourages elevated conversations and meaningful connections is important. While unsure if this feedback will reach the appropriate team, there is hope that it will be considered. Hello, I need help with the following issue: I am French, in France, and my number is +33 [redacted] (you can call me on this number). I created a Tinder account two or three days ago, and everything was working fine on my smartphone. Yesterday, I purchased the PLATINUM subscription, and it was deducted from my bank account. During the purchase, a popup with an error [redacted] (I believe) appeared, so I reset the cookies and settings on my iPhone. Since then, I have been unable to log in! Initially, I was asked to verify my phone number, which was successful as I received the code. But then I was asked to verify an email address that doesn't seem to be mine! (I see the first and last letter of the address, and it doesn't match mine) I may have made a mistake during the account creation. I might have entered my @gmail.com address out of habit, while my Tinder email is @Yahoo.com... The issue may be there, but I am lost. How can I recover my account and my chats now? Hi, I wanted to share how I met the love of my life on this app, thanks to Tinder. We've been together for 3 years now, and I am grateful for this platform for bringing us together. On March 28, [redacted], I swiped right on a handsome gentleman, Ben. We started chatting this morning, March 29, [redacted], but suddenly all his messages disappeared, and I can't find him on the app. I really believe we had a genuine connection. I suspect a technical issue with the app. Can you please help me find him? I was scrolling through Ben's messages when a connection problem pop-up appeared on Tinder. After powering off my phone and restarting the app, Ben and his messages were nowhere to be found, even in recent likes or matches. This seems strange as there was no sign that he unmatched us. I've had my Tinder account for a long time without any issues. Recently, I decided to reset my matches and created a new account. However, this new account got flagged, and I was asked to verify with a selfie. Despite submitting the required photos promptly, the next day, I found that I had been banned for allegedly violating community guidelines. I contacted customer service via email, but they claimed nothing could be done due to the violation. It's frustrating because I didn't even interact much on the new account before being banned. I'm disappointed with how this app handles bans, especially considering I can prove my identity. A review of my case would show that I was wrongly banned by Tinder's mechanics.

I got caught up with school and was offline on Tinder for a while. Upon returning, I was bombarded with hundreds of messages to reply to, many of which were similar. To save time, I resorted to copying and pasting the same replies. However, this led to me being logged out of my Tinder account and subsequently blocked. I'm eager to regain access as I was starting to feel more at ease with the app. It's tough coming to terms with being banned for sending repetitive messages. I'd greatly appreciate a positive outcome in resolving this issue.

I signed up for Tinder on April 18, [redacted], looking to date. I received three email verification requests, one on April 18, another on April 25, and the most recent on May 6. Following the third email verification, I encountered a human verification page and subsequently received a message stating I had breached the platform's terms, resulting in a permanent ban. I was caught off guard as I believe I did not violate any rules. I recently traveled from Canada to Bangladesh and now this issue has arisen. I am perplexed and keen to contact the Tinder team to address and resolve this matter.

I recently received a message from Tinder about a potential ban for harassment, which is surprising as I have not breached any terms. I rarely message others on the site, so I'm baffled by the accusation of harassment. Instances where matches unmatch and falsely report due to lack of messaging should be thoroughly investigated rather than resulting in an immediate ban. Unless there is concrete evidence of harassment, I am considering lodging a complaint with the EDPS as premature deletion without valid reasons is unlawful. My interactions on the platform are always friendly, and I have not encountered any issues. It appears that individuals who may have seen me on other apps are making baseless reports, even though we haven't connected. Without legitimate proof of misconduct, issuing warnings about account suspension based on false claims is unjust. I urge Tinder to review my conversations as they will confirm I have not violated any guidelines. Given the gravity of such allegations, I am prepared to escalate this matter to the EDPS if wrongfully removed from the platform.

It seems someone I matched with on the app may have reported me due to a personal conflict. The individual has been harassing me across different platforms and even threatened me, yet I did not engage negatively. I have been unable to access my account for a few days because you say it has been repeatedly reported. I don't understand why this is happening. I rarely log in and have only spoken to a few people. I have always been polite, simply expressing my lack of interest when needed. Could it be possible that someone reported me out of spite? Shouldn't you investigate the issue before blocking accounts? I believe I am more polite than most users who message me, who tend to be quite rude and explicit. I have never complained; I always just say I'm not interested. Please investigate before taking action. If my account is not restored soon, I will stop using the platform. It seems like you are protecting the impolite and dishonest users, and I don't want to be part of that. I hope this can be resolved so I can continue to trust the service. Thank you.

As a transgender woman, using your dating app has been challenging due to the inappropriate and sexually harassing messages I receive from other users.
