I utilized the Target app to place an order for store pick up, a method that is usually convenient due to having an infant. Upon receiving the email notification that my order was prepared for pick up, I drove to the store, only to be informed that more than half of my items were 'out of stock,' despite the email indicating all items were ready. After some investigation, an associate confirmed that all items should be available. Initially, I received part of my order, which included formula and one baby food item, although I was missing one container of formula. Subsequently, another associate only retrieved the missing formula and not the additional items from the same aisle. I located the rest of my items in the baby aisle quickly and returned to customer service. Although I had already paid through the app, the associate mistakenly canceled the order, requiring me to repurchase the items and retrieve them myself with my infant. As I didn't have cash on me, I had to retrieve money from my car. This brief pick-up process ended up taking 30 minutes, causing me significant frustration. Despite understanding that errors can occur, all items were physically available on the shelves, and the “order ready” email I received added to the confusion, leaving me hesitant about relying on in-store pick up in the future.

I ordered a small and extra small shirt online but received two small shirts instead. I visited a local Target store in Gardena, CA ([redacted] W Redondo Beach Blvd, Gardena, CA [redacted]) to address the issue. Unfortunately, no customer service representative was available, leading to a wait of over 20 minutes with no assistance. Despite speaking to a male representative eventually, who mentioned being understaffed due to a need to handle pickup orders, he was unable to provide a full refund citing system constraints. Despite having the original receipt and unused item, no satisfactory resolution was reached. This experience was disappointing, as the Target return process should be more streamlined, and additional staff are clearly necessary for improved customer service.

Hello, my name is John Ellis and I applied a few months ago at the Salt Lake Honolulu Store. I was thrilled to get the job knowing I already had another job. Unfortunately, I missed some orientations due to work conflicts, and I had to change my phone number last month for personal reasons. I tried to update the store and guest services multiple times with my new number but was informed today that my application was pulled because they couldn't reach me. I called weekly to check on orientation, but they still used my old number to contact me. They said they tried to reach me for another orientation opportunity, but I never received the calls. I'm willing to take responsibility for missing two chances, but I'm confused about being blamed when I was actively trying to update my contact information. I need this job as a single parent in Hawaii and really want to be part of the Target team. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. Thank you, John Ellis [redacted].

Dear Target Customer Service, I am writing to share my feedback with you regarding the recent changes in your store layout. As someone with a background in retail, I have always appreciated the convenience and efficiency of shopping at big box stores. However, the new boutique look at your store has made it challenging for me to quickly locate items on my shopping list. Previously, I used to frequent your jewelry department, which was strategically placed at the entrance and well-organized by color, making it a breeze to browse and make purchases. Since the redesign, I have not made a single purchase in that department. If I desire a boutique shopping experience, I prefer to visit specialty stores that offer a more enjoyable environment. Unfortunately, the current setup at your store tends to become disordered quickly due to the high volume of shoppers, and I have noticed a rise in prices without a noticeable improvement in quality. Despite these changes, I still visit your store for my husband's prescriptions, although navigating through obstructed aisles due to oversized red carts has become frustrating. While I understand that my individual choice may not impact your business significantly, I hope this feedback provides insight into the shopping experience of many more customers like me who may not express their concerns as openly. Regards, Dru W.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent order from Target.com. I purchased 48 cans of 5.5 oz. Friskies canned cat food, 24 of each flavor, because the price was better than Chewy.com. However, upon receiving my order, I found that many cans were dented due to inadequate packaging. The loose cans were flying around in the box during shipment, unlike when I order cases from Chewy.com where they are secure. If Target had packed the cans in a smaller box or used air pillows, this damage could have been prevented. This experience has left me upset, and if Target doesn't improve their packaging, I will go back to Chewy.com despite the higher price. Initially, I had high hopes for ordering from Target.com, but this has been a negative experience. (Order No. [redacted][redacted]) Judith C. (Willard, WI, USA)

🚨 PET OWNERS ALERT 🚨 To all dog and cat lovers, please take note. Even if you don't own a pet, kindly share this important message with those who do. This weekend, a caring owner of two young lab mixes bought Cocoa Mulch from Target for their garden. The dogs were drawn to its scent and the product promised to repel cats from the garden. One of their dogs, Calypso, found the mulch appetizing and consumed a large amount. After vomiting a few times, she seemed normal. The following day, while on a morning walk, she suddenly had a seizure and passed away. Despite the lack of warnings on the label, further research on the company's website revealed that Cocoa Mulch is extremely harmful to dogs and cats. Manufactured by Hershey's, the mulch contains 'Theobromine,' a lethal ingredient for pets. This substance, reminiscent of chocolate, is enticing to dogs but can be fatal if ingested. Tragically, there have been recent reports of dog deaths linked to ingesting Cocoa Mulch. Please spread this vital information to prevent any more pet tragedies. Thank you.

I have attempted to access my REDcard account numerous times without success. Despite multiple attempts to contact support, the provided phone numbers have not been helpful. I have even tried resetting my password to no avail. After reaching out to the local store, I was given another number which resulted in the same unproductive experience. I have made purchases and have a credit balance on the card but cannot view my statement, causing me great frustration. I kindly request assistance to resolve this issue by contacting me directly.

I received a manufacturer's coupon from Purina for a bag of dog food. I had been looking for a sample of their Beyond dog food and was thrilled to get a coupon for a whole bag. Despite searching different stores, I finally found it at Target. However, trying to use the coupon caused confusion among three employees who couldn't apply it. After a lengthy wait and disruptions in the line, they could only offer a $10 discount instead of the maximum $33.99. I declined and requested my coupon back, but it was marked invalid. Target, I am disappointed as I am owed a bag of dog food and wasted time dealing with this issue.

During our visit to your Lubbock, Texas store at the Canyons West shopping center, my toddler had a frightening accident near the entertainment center. Unfortunately, she tripped and hit a metal corner guard, resulting in a head injury that required a trip to a plastic surgeon. Instead of receiving immediate assistance or concern for my child's well-being, we were asked to fill out paperwork. It was incredibly upsetting to not be offered any first aid or proper attention. I urge you to prioritize child safety by covering the metal corners to prevent future accidents like the one my child experienced. The lack of care and attention during this incident was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.

To Target Corporate, I am writing to express my appreciation for the exceptional customer service provided by the staff, particularly "Kim," during an incident today. A bottle of tile bleach spilled on the floor, damaging my $[redacted] lululemon jacket and newly manicured nails. Kim and the staff responded promptly, ensuring safety and offering a $[redacted] Visa gift card for the damaged items. This level of care reminded me of the service I receive at Nordstrom, a major compliment to Target's customer service. The store address where this outstanding service occurred is: [redacted] S State Route 59, Plainfield, IL 60[redacted] Thank you for prioritizing customer satisfaction. I am grateful for the support, and I'm sure other customers feel the same. Sincerely, Gayle B. Naperville, IL

I recently tried to complete a form I found on Facebook where it stated I was a winner of a $1,[redacted] Visa gift card. Everything went smoothly, except it wouldn't accept my email address. To ensure I receive the gift card, I'm providing my details this way: Janet S., [redacted] Adams St #[redacted], Ashland, NE [redacted], phone: [redacted], [redacted], DOB: 9/22/[redacted]. This prize would greatly help my daughter's family of 5 who lost everything in a flood. I appreciate your assistance and hope to get it soon to aid in their recovery. Thank you for the opportunity and have a great day. I'm curious if the gift card will be sent certified mail so I can ensure I'm home to sign for it.

I had a frustrating experience dealing with Target Red Card services and target.com regarding my purchases and statement. I am questioning the $6.05 charge on 4/4 as no order was made then. Communication with their customer service has been ineffective, and deciphering the multiple charges on my Red Card statement has been confusing. The billing is inconsistent, with charges appearing for items already paid for in the previous statement. The lack of clarity and unhelpful responses from the customer service hotline have been disappointing. I find the pricing practices questionable, with discrepancies observed in comparison to other retailers like Walmart. Target's charging methods on statements seem misleading and uncommon in the industry. After this ordeal, I have lost trust in Target's customer service and will be taking my business elsewhere.

After spending more than $[redacted], I received a $5 gift card. Upon reviewing my receipt the next day, I noticed that I was charged for the "free" gift card. Despite speaking to multiple individuals who claim I wasn't charged, I am certain I was. I meticulously recalculated multiple times and can confirm the charge. I am upset and concerned about potential past occurrences. I made a trip back to the store, explained the situation to three different people, but the store did not honor the manager's promise of a refund and an additional gift card. This experience has left me discontent as a loyal Target customer who frequently makes significant purchases.

I was disappointed with my recent shopping trip to Target. After purchasing a 4-pack of croissants, two of them developed mold in just 3 days which was surprising as there was no visible expiration date. Similarly, I bought Up&Up kid-safe sunscreen, but there were two identical-looking sunscreens with different ingredients, with the one I chose containing chemicals not suitable for children or pregnant women. Unfortunately, I couldn't return these items as the Target store was an hour away from my hotel, so I had to discard the sunscreen and half of the croissants. This experience was quite disappointing, especially since I'm a frequent Target shopper. I hope to receive refunds for these items. Receipt: REC#2-[redacted] VCD#[redacted]-[redacted] Corinn G. Hello, I'm Darryn Griffin, and I've been a cart attendant at Target for nearly 2 years. I recently received my review and was shocked to find a spelling error on the 3rd page. The headline read "As AN guest advocate..." instead of using "A" before a consonant sound. I immediately pointed this out to my leader as it's crucial for formal documents to be error-free. It's important for a company as reputable as Target to maintain professionalism. I hope my feedback helps address the issue of spelling errors and the importance of proofreading such documents thoroughly. Thank you for your time in considering this matter.

During my recent visit to the North St. Paul, MN, Target store, I encountered a frustrating experience with their newly installed sound system. The loud and bothersome music playing in the aisles made it difficult for me to focus on shopping, my list, or even reading product labels. The excessive noise levels have deterred me from visiting this store as frequently as I used to. Despite my attempts to express my concerns to the store manager, it seems challenging to find a resolution to this issue. The manager acknowledged receiving multiple complaints about the loud music but was unsure who could address it. I was advised to leave a comment on the survey at the bottom of my receipt, only to realize there was no comment section available. This ordeal has led me to reconsider my shopping habits and opt for other stores like Walmart instead. I hope that in my next visit to Target, the sound system will have been adjusted or fixed to provide a more pleasant shopping environment.

I am a huge fan of Target and always shop there for its high-quality products. Recently, I purchased a cube organizer for my bedroom to store my books. Target offers various styles, and I opted for the sturdier one despite the higher price. However, upon assembling it, I encountered issues like cracking, paint peeling off, and misaligned pieces. Despite these challenges, I assure you that I am skilled at putting furniture together. As a college student working hard to fund my education, I value Target and hope for a resolution. I appreciate your attention and time. Thank you.

I recently purchased a Halsted Wicker Patio Loveseat on 4/21/19 with order #[redacted][redacted]. Upon tracking my order, I discovered it was delivered to Shotley, MN, instead of my location. Despite multiple attempts to contact EFW via email and phone, I received no response regarding the status of my delivery. After contacting them on 5-8 and 5-10, I was informed that the order was sent to the wrong location due to shipping label mix-up. EFW acknowledged their error, and I was advised to contact Target for a possible refund and reordering of the item. My frustration lies in the lack of communication from EFW and Target, prompting me to spend considerable time on calls and emails. Being a loyal Target customer, I plan to reorder the loveseat to match my existing furniture. However, I am disappointed with the delay of 4-5 weeks due to the initial shipping error. I want to ensure this incident is documented for future reference. Thank you, Wendy S.

Hello, I've been a dedicated Target shopper for many years, starting from the Target in Ames, Iowa ([redacted]) to my current location in Greensboro, NC. Target has always been my preferred store, but in the last decade, I've been increasingly disappointed with the decline in cleanliness, long checkout lines, and the variety of stocked items. The reduction in choices within each category and the shift towards Target brand products over name brands has been noticeable. In my recent visits, I've encountered consistently empty shelves, leaving me unable to find essential items. I understand the current economic climate, but I believe Target should prioritize maintaining its reputation as an upscale discount retailer, as envisioned by its founder, George Dayton. I hope that Target's management can address these issues and return to the high standards that once set them apart.
