I purchased Forza Horizon * and gifted it to a friend, only to find that both of us do not enjoy playing the game. We found the map and environment boring, and the online experience was unplayable. Despite trying for over an hour to play online together, we could not interact with each other. It took us longer than * hours to realize we did not like the game due to giving it a fair chance online. Even though we are past the usual return period, I kindly request a refund for both copies of the game. My username is Verellium, and my account name is MichaelDoesDraw. Hello, I recently encountered a problem with my Steam account. My original email is still in use, but somehow the email linked to my Steam account was changed without my knowledge. I no longer have access to the email address associated with my Steam account as the password was changed. The main email on the account was also altered. I can prove my ownership of the account as I have a product key that I used to purchase Black Ops 3. I would appreciate a prompt response via email as I have been using this account for the past year.

I purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator [redacted] from your store a while ago. The download process took incredibly long, lasting two to three weeks. After finally downloading it, I found the game enjoyable. However, the frequent 40GB updates that took days to a week to download became frustrating. I ultimately deleted the game. Recently, I attempted to reinstall it, but it has been downloading for the past week or ten days and still isn't halfway through. Is it possible for you to provide me with a physical copy on a USB stick or disks? If not, I would like a refund.

I haven't downloaded my games in a long time, except for "Day of Defeat" and "Hell's Highway." I moved to a rural area last August and just got wifi on August 7th. Steam doesn't recognize the games I bought except in my Library, so I can't play them. I managed to reload "Day of Defeat" from the disk and got it to work by entering the code. I have disks for "Counter Strike Source," "Half-Life 2 Deathmatch," and "Day of Defeat Source," but couldn't load them as there's no code on the disk. It says to activate via the internet by registering for a Steam account and accepting the SSA. I do have a Steam account and I previously had a Zombie game which I can't recall the name of. I only have maps for Team Fortress and Day of Defeat. I'd like access to all my games to be able to play them. If I get this resolved, I won't have any issues buying new games and downloading them. Thinking about getting "Doom [redacted]."

Hello, I received a Discord message informing me that my Steam account was reported due to impersonation. I was asked to contact someone to verify it wasn't me. Subsequently, I received a link stating my account had been banned, my email was changed, along with the removal of my contact number and 2FA. They requested a Steam gift card for account restoration, which raised red flags for me.

Hello, I am Kari Renae Rose. I encountered this issue last night. I'm unable to access anything on Steam except my library. Both the client and the website are not working, even on my mobile. The problem resolved when I switched to mobile data. Unsure if it's due to A) Steam servers, B) my internet, or C) my ISP. It's peculiar because it only affects Steam. I can't access the Steam site on my PC browser but can access other websites like Twitter, Youtube. Seeking a solution for this issue. Thank you. -Kari Renae Rose

This is my third attempt to receive a refund from Amazon for New World. The recent updates to the game have been concerning, especially regarding the impact on hardware. It's frustrating that a game can cause such issues, like crashes and potentially damaging video cards. Playing shouldn't involve risking our equipment. It's disheartening to have to worry about the safety of our hardware while gaming.

Yesterday, I purchased 4 Steam cards from Woolies and got the receipts. Upon trying to redeem the cards on my Steam wallet, I encountered an issue where the $[redacted] each was not redeemable. I attempted to enter the codes multiple times with intervals but they still wouldn't work. I approached Woolies for a refund but they directed me to contact you for assistance. Can you please either refund my money or provide me with 4 new cards? I need a resolution before 4 pm Australian Time. I recently purchased the latest expansion for Civilization VI but I'm encountering difficulties getting it to run. I suspect the issue lies with the 2K update. Despite numerous attempts, I have been unable to install it. Whenever I try to apply the update, I receive a message stating "cannot download update." I have also checked for updates in the launcher settings, but all it says is "update failed." If this problem persists, it requests an error report. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed, considering the amount of money I've invested in this game. At this point, I feel like I would be better off requesting a refund. It's truly disappointing.

Hello, I purchased Icarus but encountered some quality issues with the game. During a mission, the game froze, and I couldn't exit, leading to difficulties shutting down my PC. I initially didn't think returning the game was an option, but now I realize I can request a refund. I apologize for any inconvenience caused and hope to receive either a Steam credit or a refund via PayPal. I needed to buy Rust instead, so I hope for a prompt response.

I am experiencing issues with Terraria and TModloader. Some of my player/world files saved to the steam cloud are corrupted, affecting TModloader's playability and starting to impact Terraria. I have tried validating the game's files and reinstalling TModloader with no success. Removing and re-adding TModloader briefly helped, but the problem persists. Restarting my computer was ineffective. To resolve this, I believe removing the corrupted files from the steam cloud is necessary. I am willing to clear all cloud data for these games if it means eliminating the corrupted files without losing Terraria or having to repurchase it on a new account.

I received a friend request from Everg1ow who claimed that someone was pretending to be me and scamming them on Steam. They mentioned reports being made that could lead to my account being banned by mistake, so they suggested contacting a mod on a Discord server. This seemed suspicious, so I blocked and removed them. I want to ensure there are no reports against my account that could lead to a ban, so I'm considering reaching out to Steam support for clarification. It's always best to be cautious in such situations.

I purchased two $20 Steam debit cards. One worked perfectly, but the other one was damaged when I tried to remove the security sticker. Unfortunately, the number on the back got partially destroyed, and I am missing the first three characters. I am not seeking a refund, just wanting to find a solution as it is a small Christmas gift for my grandson. I have the damaged card and both receipts from Walmart, but I am unsure which receipt corresponds to the purchase of the damaged card. Thank you.

Dear Steam Support Team, I encountered difficulty accessing my account on December 16, [redacted], in the morning. It seems someone bypassed my Steam Guard Authenticator while I was asleep at 2 AM in Swiss time and changed both my email address and password, preventing me from logging in. I can provide proof that the account is mine, including Paysafe card and Paypal transactions, screenshots of purchased games in my email, and a screenshot of a conversation with the alleged hacker, who strangely communicated in English despite both of us being native German speakers. I encountered an issue while trying to access South Park Stick of Truth and Bright Memory Infinite through the Steam app recently. I believe this pertains to the Steam gaming service, and I wish to file a complaint. Today, I experienced an unusually long five-hour wait for a game to download, which is not typical. Specifically, the game is FNAF Security Breach, the latest installment in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. While observing smooth gameplay in videos, I encountered an error message upon attempting to launch it, stating my Windows video card was full. I struggled to address this issue, as I am unfamiliar with adjusting rendering settings. Deleting videos from my media player, which the game had unexpectedly deposited on my PC, did not resolve the problem. Following uninstallation, I was surprised to find a 15-hour wait for the game to download again. After my computer froze, I was perplexed and opted to factory reset it. Following this, when I returned the next day to log into my accounts, I encountered an issue accessing my Steam account. When attempting to reset the password, I noticed that a different email address had been linked to the account and the password was changed, leaving me without any access to my account. I received a discord message alleging that my account was mass reported for illegal purchases by someone and their friends. Unfortunately, my boyfriend experienced a similar situation at 2:30 am PST, resulting in his account being completely locked out. He had to wake his parents up to address the issue. As I was attempting to assist him in recovering his account, I received a concerning message from the discord user. The lack of trust in this individual has left me worried about facing the same fate as my boyfriend.
