I recently purchased a Steel Series 9x headset and initially enjoyed its performance. However, I encountered issues with it disconnecting from my Xbox and having microphone cuts. Eventually, it stopped charging and failed to turn on. After contacting customer support, I managed to revive it temporarily but it soon died again. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, including leaving it on the charger for days, I suspected the faulty charging port might be the root cause, especially as it was loose from the beginning. To test, I used an aux cable and found the headphone functionality to be fine. It seems I received a headset with a defective charging port, which is disappointing given the price I paid.

My Google account linked to Steam ([redacted]) was compromised, and I’m unable to access it. I'm facing difficulty changing my Steam email due to an issue with the captcha, despite pasting it correctly from the email. It seems the hacker may have changed my Steam password using my old email. If I get logged out, I fear losing access to my computer. I've never linked a card to my account and use gift cards. My recent purchases were Dishonored 2 (returned for a bundle) and the Dead Space bundle. My account name is either "lobosilverado" or "naroemcgarson," friends can confirm. Contact "pematheny," "howlingmad-wolf," "strikeouts27" for verification to secure my account. Thank you.

My friend's Steam account was recently compromised. He was contacted on Discord by someone posing as a Steam employee who claimed to have mistakenly reported him for fraudulent purchases. This imposter, possibly using a compromised employee account, tricked him into providing his Steam Guard recovery code, leading to unauthorized access and a change of email and password. Unfortunately, this has left him unable to reset his account information or submit a support ticket. For assistance, please contact me at [redacted] The email associated with his compromised Steam account is [redacted] Thank you for addressing this security issue.

A friend sent me a link for free Discord Nitro similar to Epic Games, but for Steam. Without realizing it, the link was from a hacked source. After entering my Steam account details, I experienced immediate changes - my email was altered, Steam guard was removed, phone number changed, password reset, account name changed, and all my friends were deleted. I also noticed unauthorized transactions using gift cards. I am seeking assistance to recover my account. Apologies for any language errors, English is not my native language.

I attempted to access my Steam account linked to [redacted], but I continue to receive an error message stating my username or password is incorrect. Upon trying to reset my login credentials, the email verification no longer recognizes my account tied to my email address. I am eager to regain access to my account, but the Steam customer support website has not been able to assist me effectively.

When I tried to log into Steam, I encountered an issue. I had to temporarily disable my 2-step authentication to recover my account through email. Upon regaining access, I discovered that my Rust game was uninstalled, and all the skins I had purchased three years ago were missing from my inventory. It seems that someone has hacked into my account and taken all the valuable Rust skins. Now, I am unable to log back into Steam because it states I have attempted too many times on the same network. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The other day, I was trying to link my Steam account to Discord for a promotion. Initially, the website wouldn't accept my password, so I changed it back to the original one and it worked. But then, after signing into Steam and going through Steam Guard, the password stopped working again. When I tried to reset it back to the same password, I couldn't find my account with my email or phone number, which was confusing because I hadn't changed them. I then tried using my account name and noticed a different email linked for recovery. My account is several years old and has only had two emails associated with it, so I'm puzzled by what's happening. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I've had a Steam account for years where I play Elder Scrolls Online and other games like Witcher 3 and Skyrim. I've bought DLCs for Elder Scrolls Online like Graymoor and Blackwood. My user id is Dont999. My date of birth is 4/5/[redacted]. Unfortunately, I don't remember my password or the phone number linked to the account after losing my computer and backups in a house fire. I last played on June 29th. I tried to reinstate using my current Gmail address but ended up with a new account, Dont99999, without any games. I'm 73, so I'm struggling to recall details. I'd appreciate help recovering my Dont999 account password or transferring my games to Dont99999. Thank you.

Obtaining a refund has been challenging due to the lack of accessibility regarding customer support options. It would have been helpful to have a chat or phone line available to assist with the complicated process. The contradictory messages about refund availability have caused confusion. Apple's efficient customer support through phone calls has been a positive example compared to the difficulty in reaching support here. I respectfully urge for a refund for the Obra Din purchase, especially considering the previous message mentioning a full refund to my Visa card. A focus on excellent customer service is crucial for business success, and I believe there is room for improvement in this area. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

I have a Steam card that I purchased for $50, but I lost the receipt. The number on the back is D2D P-MWG7JABXK5. I am unable to read the rest of the code. I am in need of a refund as $15 is valuable to me right now. Below the barcode, there are numbers [redacted]. I hope this information helps. My name is Linda Goodman. I would greatly appreciate your assistance with the refund. Thank you and have a wonderful day.

My account has been hijacked. I'm a US citizen residing in South Korea with my son, a Korean citizen. My son, using my account BeefyUncle1 ([redacted]), changed the email to [redacted] Subsequently, a stranger accessed the account, changing both the password and email to what seems to be a Brazilian email. I attempted to report the hijacking, but the account required my original email and password, which were altered. I couldn't comply. Then, it requested an email and the last four credit card digits for verification. The support page suggested contacting Steam directly, yet no contact number was provided. Could someone help me regain control of my account to enable two-factor authentication?

I have not been receiving any emails for verification codes or password resets. I have thoroughly checked my spam folder, but they are not there. This is particularly frustrating as I am trying to register a game subscription that I purchased for FFXIV, and the "Steam Guard" is requesting email verification that I am not receiving. I attempted to use the phone app for verification, but it also requires an email confirmation that I am not getting. Even when trying to disable it from my Steam account, it requests an email confirmation that I have not received despite multiple attempts. I am at a loss as to why this is happening.

I need assistance recovering my account access that was lost weeks ago. It seems to have been taken over by someone else. When attempting to reset my password, I receive a link via email providing options for two accounts that do not match the one I need. The person who took over the account changed both the email and phone number linked to it. Additionally, I suspect that the two available accounts were set up by the unauthorized user. I am willing to provide proof of identity, such as credit card numbers used for purchasing Steam games, my ID card, or any other documentation required. Hoping to receive a response soon, M. J. Dear Support Team, I am reaching out regarding a refund request for a game my son bought without my permission. Despite having 7 hours of playtime due to his initial excitement, we discovered the purchase the next day. I promptly uninstalled the game and restricted any further access. The unauthorized purchase of $52 is concerning to us, and while we acknowledge our responsibility to prevent such incidents, we kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter. As a long-time Steam user, I have never sought a refund before and appreciate your understanding of this unique situation. Your help in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Best regards, Z.A.

I have requested a refund for Madden [redacted] due to it not functioning properly on my PC. The game, which I bought for the first time on the PC platform, exhibits visual bugs and lags intermittently while playing, despite my computer being capable of running it on max settings. I have tried troubleshooting and updating drivers to no avail. I recently discovered that Steam offers refunds and submitted a request, only to be denied for playing "more than two hours." I clarified in a follow-up ticket that the hours played are inaccurate, as I was attempting to resolve the game's issues. I am disappointed by the lack of human support for assistance. Regardless of the hours played, I believe I deserve a refund as the game does not function as promised. I had a positive experience with my previous Madden game, investing over [redacted] hours into it, and hoped for the same with this purchase. I am adamant about receiving my refund and hope for a resolution soon.

I recently received a message claiming my account was reported falsely on Steam. The message instructed me to reach out to an admin, Dario Casali, with the Steam username "second banana." I soon noticed he wasn't an admin when he threatened to delete my account unless I purchased [redacted]-bit coin. Despite changing my password, he managed to access my account. I am unable to sign in now and am unsure of my next steps. I would appreciate any assistance. My Steam account username is foxthedragon.

My Oculus Rift has stopped working. I've already contacted Oculus Support and described the issue via email. I ensured all connections were secure and my software was up to date. The issue seems to be with my GPU not detecting the headset, and it's showing error code [redacted]. The problem began on Saturday, September 4th. When I first turned it on, I encountered some display issues which were temporarily resolved by restarting my PC. However, the screen later started flickering and now the device is unresponsive.

Dear Madam, dear Sir, I am looking to purchase BloodRayne Betrayal Fresh Bites. I already have the original game, but when trying to buy the remake, it shows as if I already own it. Even if I purchase it, I wouldn't receive a key. Could you please explain why this is happening? I own the original version but not the remake. Kind regards, Stefan S.

I reside in Grimsby, UK. On the 8th of September this year, I purchased £[redacted] worth of Steam cards from my local Asda store as a gift for a friend. When my friend attempted to activate them, only 4 out of the cards were activated. Upon returning to the store and presenting the payment slip, I was informed that I needed to seek a refund from you. Out of the £[redacted] spent, only £[redacted] worth of the cards were actually valid. I kindly request a refund for the remaining amount, please.
