I am seeking a refund for Shogun 2, which has been denied twice. I do not understand why a game that does not function on your platform is not eligible for a refund. I have dedicated a significant amount of time attempting to resolve an issue that is specific to your platform. Had I been aware that this game would cease functioning after a certain period of time, I would not have made the purchase. I would appreciate a resolution that considers the circumstances when a game unexpectedly stops working. I have not made any modifications or upgrades, yet you continue to sell faulty products on your platform without offering adequate support or refunds. It is unreasonable to expect customers to address platform issues or anticipate hidden faults. Transparency regarding the reliability of your platform and the games offered would be greatly beneficial.

Last night while playing a game, someone on Steam added me as a friend and claimed I had a pending ban request for Fraud/stolen items. They directed me to add another user, Victim 2, posing as a Steam moderator. Victim 2 asked for my information to investigate the issue and eventually requested I buy a $50 Steam wallet card to lift the ban. After providing the card, they locked me out of my account, changed the password, and demanded additional payment, threatening to delete my account if I refused.

I would like a refund for the four $[redacted] Steam cards I purchased. All four of them were inactive, which was very disappointing. This cost me almost my entire paycheck, and I have children to support. Please assist me in getting a full refund of $[redacted] to my credit card. I am in urgent need of this money, as it is a significant amount for me to lose. Kindly inform me of the steps you will be taking to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Del Lee Cadle.

I was scammed out of $[redacted] when purchasing Steam cards using my bank debit card on eBay. Despite reporting the scam to eBay and filing an iC3 internet crime report, no resolution has been reached. The scammer, claiming to be a military man needing gift cards for his cousin, never reimbursed me as promised. They requested photos of the cards with the codes scratched off, under false pretenses. This person, posing as Taylor Allen Hayes from Indiana, is engaging in internet and financial fraud. They are taking advantage of people's money by purchasing Steam cards with it. Traceable codes from the redeemed gift cards are "KE48G-CXCNJ-8FZJV" and "4GJCE-2W3AQ-RWQGT." It's important to highlight this scammer's deceitful tactics and the impact on victims.

I recently had a disappointing experience regarding a sale on eBay. I was instructed to purchase a gift card under false pretenses, with emails from PayPal requesting proof of purchase. After complying, the card was redeemed without explanation, leaving me out of pocket $[redacted]. This money, hard-earned from my job as a restaurant bartender, was for essential bills. I retain the gift card, code, and receipt. Despite unhelpful responses from eBay and PayPal, I am reaching out for assistance. Any resolution, even a replacement code, would make a difference. As a struggling college student, this loss is significant, especially after enduring the challenges of restaurant work. I am willing to provide any necessary documentation. Thank you for your attention. - Brandon G.

Good evening, On Tuesday, September 24, [redacted], I purchased six €50 Steam gift cards totaling €[redacted] from my local store. A man pretending to be from Microsoft convinced me these cards were for protection. Realizing later that these gift cards couldn't be used for this purpose, I refrained from sharing the codes. When I tried to redeem the cards on my Steam account, I found all six to be invalid. I meticulously entered the codes thinking I made a mistake, but they all showed as invalid. I seek assistance in investigating what happened to my €[redacted] worth of codes and tracing if they were used, so I can reclaim the money or the Steam gift card value from the individual who wrongfully obtained my codes. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello, I encountered difficulty logging into my Steam account tonight. My password was not recognized, and when attempting to reset it, my email address was not recognized as well. The recovery process led to a Russian email address I do not recognize. Even the credit card recovery option failed, and contacting Steam Support only resulted in a voicemail. I am currently unable to regain access to my Steam account. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I need help with a significant fraud incident that occurred due to my own mistake. Someone exploited both my friend's and my profiles to engage in fake communications. These criminals pressured me into purchasing a $[redacted] Steam wallet gift card to cover FedEx or UPS transfer fees, promising a $50,[redacted] reward through a social network assisting retired, sick individuals, and children. Despite my usual caution, my friend claimed to have received the money and convinced me to proceed. Consequently, I bought the gift cards, sent the Walmart receipt, and shared the card numbers on the back. I later discovered they were actually game cards. I urgently request a halt to the unauthorized use of my cards and funds. I implore an investigation into the responsible party. The scammers persisted in demanding more money, escalating to $3,[redacted] through Facebook, phone calls, and emails. I have blocked them and seek intervention to stop these aggressive individuals. Is there a possibility of recovering my money? I possess the gift cards and receipts. Thank you, Erika S. Contact: [redacted] or [redacted]

I purchased Gears 5 for a friend and me. We completed the tutorial but encountered various game-breaking issues in the campaign. Despite spending hours trying to troubleshoot, the game remains unplayable. I requested refunds for both copies and was given refund ticket HT-QQT4-47KT-28DV. Unfortunately, my refund requests (Ticket: HT-QGX8-7D25-RGDF, HT-9XHN-7MNF-XQTV, HT-QNKP-RBW6-J7JR) were all rejected due to exceeding the 2-hour playtime limit. We faced constant crashes and audio glitches, which prevented us from progressing in the game. I ask for a reconsideration of the refund denial as we spent more time trying to make the game work rather than actually playing it. Your attention to this matter is appreciated.

I recently bought Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Ultimate Edition on Steam and requested a refund. Unfortunately, my refund request was denied as I had exceeded the two-hour gameplay limit. I feel this policy is unfair as it takes more than two hours to determine both if you enjoy a game and to become proficient at it. Despite investing 24 hours into the game, I have struggled to master its complex controls and have not found it enjoyable. I purchased the Ultimate Edition to access all operators in hopes of finding one that suited me better, but this did not enhance my experience. I am kindly asking for assistance in obtaining a refund for this game, as I do not find it enjoyable and feel I lack the skills to excel in it.

I tried fixing my library folder and my 79.1 GB download got misplaced, and Steam is not detecting it now. It's asking me to reinstall the game, although there's an 81 GB file in the Steam folder where the download was. Do I need to reinstall everything? How should I handle the old files? Is there a way to avoid reinstalling by getting Steam to find the files? When I try to add a library folder so Steam sees the download file, it tells me it's already in the Steam folder.

On September 30, [redacted], my ATM card was unexpectedly charged three times, totaling $36.4 (1,[redacted] Philippine Pesos, [redacted] pesos for each transaction). Strangely, the third transaction of [redacted] PHP was then refunded to my card. I am puzzled as I did not authorize any purchases and did not receive any email notifications. Normally, I receive immediate notifications from platforms like Steam when a transaction occurs, like for my Dota 2 subscription. I was at work during the incident and couldn't have made these transactions. I only realized what happened when I checked my ATM card app and saw the transactions. I am seeking clarification on where and when my account was accessed, as well as details on the purchases made. The $12 charge is especially confusing since my Dota subscription is only $2. Thank you for any assistance in resolving this matter.

Hello, I was informed by someone on my friends list on Steam named "cinnabon" that they accidentally reported me for something in the game "Dead by Daylight." They provided me with the name Julius Houston (SR) as a Steam support individual to help resolve the issue. After providing him with the requested information, he requested I purchase a "transaction id" for $52 and threatened to delete my account if I didn't comply. My account on Steam is "tanureza81015." I believe I have provided enough evidence that I did not violate any rules and simply wish to regain access to my account. I am concerned that he may have already taken action against my account. I seek assistance in resolving this matter.

I contacted my bank, and they assured me there are no problems with my debit card for transactions. Despite this, Steam continues to display a message saying: "Your purchase was not completed. Your credit card details were declined by your credit card provider. Please be aware that sometimes, your credit card company might place a 'hold' on funds in your account, but you will not be charged. After verifying the information below for any mistakes, please attempt your purchase again." As far as I am aware, there is no apparent reason for this problem to occur... Update on my assistance request. Is this matter now resolved?

I received a message from someone claiming to be a loan officer promising $5,[redacted] if I paid them. They took $20 from my Steam gift card. I'm requesting my $20 back so I can return it to the store or have it sent via money order to [redacted] Motes Lane, Palatka, FL. Please help me out, I'm upset over being scammed. My name is Amanda R. and my steam card number is 5K79Y-4xFBR-AIBHD. Thank you.

My Steam copy of Total War: Warhammer 2 hasn't been working for over a year now. After Steam indicates it's "running" for around 10 seconds, the game crashes. I've tried numerous solutions, including reaching out to Sega, but to no avail. I've verified the game files countless times, deleted and redownloaded everything, and reinstall the game multiple times with no success. Additionally, all mods have been removed. I just really want to get my game working again.

Hello, my name is Bailey. I downloaded Destiny 2 on the 1st of October, and the game initially ran well. However, I encountered a network disconnection error before reaching the menu. I searched online for a solution, followed it, and since then, every time I try to launch Destiny 2 through Steam, I get an error message saying, "Problem reading game content. Please close Destiny, right-click on Destiny in Steam, and run Verify Integrity of Game Files." I have attempted this multiple times, but the issue persists. I'm unsure how to proceed.

Yesterday, I received a false report and was instructed to speak with Jam Houston (SR) to address the issue. Following his guidance, I shared my Steam purchase history and email to prove the mistake. However, Jam Houston requested to charge my Credit Card and asked for my card details to verify my account, which raised suspicions. When I declined to provide this information, he abruptly ended our conversation, leaving me concerned about the fate of my long-held account. I seek guidance on how to proceed without risking my account's security.

I bought Rainbow Six Siege, but it crashes after only 5 minutes of play. Two weeks have passed, and I exceeded the 2-hour limit trying to fix it. I can't get a refund due to some criteria, so I feel frustrated. I want to remove the game and transfer the $20 spent on it to my Steam wallet for another game. Can someone assist me with this? Thank you.
