I am seeking to update my bank account information. After entering my new account number, the system shows it is "waiting for email confirmation." I am uncertain if this means I need to take action or if it is awaiting confirmation from my bank. I reached out via Chat, where I was informed the process could take up to four days. However, I urgently need to use my Square device tomorrow. Despite this, I was told I can keep making sales. Both my old and new accounts are visible on my banking screen. How will continuing sales work if my old account is closed? Will payments be delayed until the new account is verified? I'm concerned about potential lost sales if I can't use my device tomorrow. Hello, I'm Brian Conard. I recently purchased a gift for my 6-year-old's birthday from Kidspowersports. Unfortunately, myself and others were scammed out of our money. The transaction was made through the Square app successfully, and I have copies of the receipts. I am seeking assistance in obtaining the name and address associated with the Square account used in the transaction so I can report this to the authorities. I recently received a payment on my Square account after not using it for a few months due to slow work. The bank account linked to Square was no longer valid as I had gotten a new card. I realized it's a Square checking account linked to my Square account and I have other accounts linked as well. I need to access the money but it's not available. I had a similar issue a few months ago when my money was held for 90 days, causing me to stop using Square. I cannot afford to have the money on hold again, so I really need to speak with a customer service representative to resolve this issue promptly.

On October 26th, I set up my Square account. After doing a practice swipe and then accepting a $3,[redacted] payment from a customer, I encountered issues connecting with my bank. Despite resubmitting the required banking information, I received emails stating the inability to connect without any clear instructions on my part. With another $3,[redacted] payment pending, totaling $6,[redacted], Square has held my funds for 13 days without resolution. The lack of customer service and inability to bill my customer on the backend is frustrating. I request immediate deposit of the funds as promised 9 days ago. Additionally, considering Square's failure to deliver its service, I believe they should waive any fees incurred.

I am currently the "owner" of our organization's Square account, which I opened while serving as the Secretary-Treasurer. However, I need to transfer ownership to the new Secretary-Treasurer. Despite entering my information correctly, the system does not recognize my identity. This issue also occurred when adding new members previously. I am disappointed with my experience on Square. When I signed up, it was for personal use, not for a business since I don't have one. I used it for occasional floor installation jobs, and when a customer wanted to pay by credit card, I found Square online. After completing a job for $[redacted], issues arose. The customer claimed it was fraudulent, providing inaccurate details and being unprofessional. They demanded business documentation despite Square not being BBB accredited. I'm unable to provide business documents as I'm not a registered business. The funds being held are crucial for my rent and with Christmas approaching, this situation is causing significant stress during a critical time.

I received a $[redacted] refund back in [redacted]. Recently, I called and was told I only had $47 left from that refund. I am puzzled and frustrated that after almost 2 years, I still haven't received my full refund. It's been hard to reach customer service for assistance in resolving this issue. I've been attempting to retrieve my refunded $[redacted] from my Square account since [redacted]. Even though the refund was granted to me back in [redacted], I am still unable to access my closed Square account to claim it. I find it frustrating that I cannot speak to anyone to resolve this issue. I feel like I have been given the runaround, and it seems pointless to go through all this trouble just to get my money back.

This news is disheartening. I recently started my website and was shocked to discover my account was suspended when trying to follow up on a sale. My account was suspended within 72 hours without clear reasons or the opportunity to address any issues. As a minority entrepreneur, it is frustrating to face such obstacles when trying to grow a business. Prior to the suspension, I made a sale through the phone ordering line but have not received the funds. I demand transparency about the whereabouts of my money. I provided all necessary documents and conducted sales professionally over the phone. I trusted the platform to process transactions correctly, but now I am left without answers. I urge for a prompt resolution and the release of my rightfully earned funds.

After resolving the issue with the IRS and having the levy closed, I reached out to Square to release my funds for the past five days. I'm experiencing difficulty logging into my account. When attempting to log in, I'm prompted to enter my information and receive a verification code via text, which I've requested multiple times to no avail. Despite restarting my phone in hopes of receiving the text, I still haven't received the code.
In addition, my account has been deactivated unexpectedly. Despite Square notifying me that I could transfer funds and confirming my bank account, the transaction didn't go through, and now I'm unable to access the funds until April 02, [redacted]. This is puzzling as all verifications were completed before the deactivation.

We have had multiple accounts with Square spanning the last decade for numerous companies we have owned. As publishers, we used Square for credit card payments from customers. Despite selling most of our publications in [redacted], we retained a few ongoing ones with hopes to complete them. Unfortunately, circumstances led to closing our company around [redacted], and subsequent challenges worsened with the arrival of Covid. After filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy in Jan. [redacted] (Case No. 19-[redacted]-KMS), which discharged in June [redacted], we found ourselves in a difficult situation. Fast forward to [redacted], we embarked on new publishing projects, only to encounter issues with Square. A recent charge triggered emails stating an outstanding balance of $[redacted]+, threatening to debit our new bank account. Despite efforts to clarify and provide documentation of the bankruptcy discharge, Square persisted in attempting to retrieve the funds. I sought a refund for a customer charge, was initially informed it was granted, but then faced conflicting claims from Square asserting ownership of the funds. Despite numerous emails, the issue remains unresolved. Frustrated by the lack of response and apparent disregard for the bankruptcy discharge, I escalated the matter by lodging complaints with the California State Attorney General and the FTC. I demand a resolution, a refund for the customer, and dismissal of the disputed chargeback. I will pursue further action until this matter is addressed promptly and to my satisfaction.

After I set up my account, it got deactivated. I submitted invoices totaling $[redacted] to a company I worked for, and they paid. Shortly after, Square deactivated my account. After numerous attempts to contact them, I was informed they would release the funds to my linked bank account. However, the funds are no longer showing in my balance or any transfer history. The only proof of the money is in the paid invoices. Square hasn't been able to help me track down the missing funds, despite an email confirming the transfer should've been completed within 1 to 3 business days. It's been 5 days now, and I'm still left without any answers.

I recently changed my phone number and now I am unable to access my other Cash App account. Even though I have my Cash Card, I believe I did not activate it properly as it is not working. There is a positive balance in my Cash App account $Abreezy0120, but Cash App is not allowing me access. The email and debit card linked to $Abreezy0120 are now associated with my current Cash App account $WheresDaMoney77. I am requesting either access to $Abreezy0120 or for my funds to be transferred to $WheresDaMoney77. Unfortunately, Cash App has denied my access and is not providing further assistance.
