Arriving at BWI airport on Christmas Day for our flight to San Antonio was incredibly frustrating. After a two-hour journey, we secured long-term parking. Arriving two hours early, we were met with a lack of communication. Just 15 minutes before departure, we were informed there was no staff for our flight. The customer service representative seemed disinterested and unable to provide information. We received an email about the cancellation before they acknowledged it. When seeking options from another customer service representative, she was kind but couldn't ensure flights for both of us. Sadly, we returned home without our bags, which they claimed were bound for San Antonio. Despite the holiday, the experience was distressing. Not knowing the whereabouts of our luggage, which holds all our clothes, is troubling. Being stuck two hours away from the airport in lounge wear is not how we anticipated spending Christmas.

Our Southwest Airlines flight, number [redacted], scheduled for today, December 25th, [redacted], departing at 10:05 from MCO in Orlando to Dallas Love Field, TX, was unexpectedly cancelled. To my dismay, Southwest rebooked me for a different flight three days later without obtaining my consent. Neither do I desire that alternative flight nor wish to receive flight credits; I am firm in my right to a refund back to my credit card as mandated by the Department of Transportation in cases where Southwest cancels the flight. Both airport staff and the Southwest app and website advise contacting customer service by phone within 24 hours for a refund. Despite my many attempts to call since the cancellation at 10:30 a.m., I have been unable to connect with an available representative as nobody is responding.

My two minor children's flight has been canceled, and there is no adult present to accompany them. They are stranded at Houston (Hobby) Airport while everyone else is in CA. This is a genuine emergency, and urgent assistance is needed. The children are stuck at the airport on Christmas Day, and it is crucial to get them home. Please prioritize getting my kids on a flight to CA immediately, specifically to SNA airport. While we are prepared to make arrangements, Southwest is responsible for resolving this issue. If needed, we can consider traveling to San Diego airport or LAX, but we hope to avoid that if possible.

My flight from Denver to San Diego was canceled three times. My reservation number is 4OYLIY. I've just been rebooked on flight [redacted] that won't arrive until 11:50 tonight. My teenage daughter was scheduled to fly from Albuquerque to Denver this evening, but her flight was delayed multiple times, then ultimately canceled. She was informed there are no flights until the 29th, leaving her devastated and in tears at the airport. I have been trying to reach Southwest Airlines to reschedule her flight, but the high call volume keeps resulting in disconnections after a few minutes on hold. It's crucial she arrives tomorrow due to not seeing her since August. She is experiencing severe anxiety and had an anxiety attack, causing further delays waiting for her luggage. Our flight from Fort Lauderdale Airport to Atlanta on 12/24 was canceled after several hours of delays, leaving my partner and mother-in-law, who both require medication and medical supplies, stranded. Despite being offered $[redacted] Luv vouchers each as compensation, which is far less than others received, we had to pay over $[redacted] to secure flights back with Delta. Missing what could be our last Christmas with my grandmother due to Southwest's staffing issues was heartbreaking. Unlike Southwest, Delta was understanding and even upgraded our seats for free. Southwest's gate agent falsely claimed they couldn't book us on an earlier flight with any airline, while I witnessed another passenger being rebooked on an American Airlines flight. This lack of assistance and misinformation from Southwest is unacceptable. We are out of pocket and have lost valuable time with family. We are long-time Southwest customers, and this experience has been disappointing.

I reserved a flight from Columbus to Minneapolis for December 26 a month ago. Suddenly, in the early hours of the 26th, less than 12 hours before the flight, I was rescheduled for December 29 without my permission. I must be in Minneapolis by the morning of the 27th and find a 3-day change with such short notice completely unacceptable. I'm looking for Southwest to assist me in returning on time, whether by arranging a flight with them or compensating for a last-minute ticket on a different airline.

I wasn't informed by Southwest that my original flights were cancelled. I only discovered this by checking the flight status on the app. I saw I had been rebooked but couldn't find details. After a 2.5-hour wait, a rep confirmed my flight was canceled but I hadn't been rebooked. I couldn't find suitable flights on the west coast, so I had to buy more points to book a higher-priced flight that worked for me. I am traveling from Utah to Hawaii and plan to bring two surfboards in my board bag. They will weigh less than [redacted] lbs total. The tallest surfboard is approximately 9 feet tall. I have just arrived in Tucson, AZ, and unfortunately, my luggage did not make it here with me. My confirmation number is 48X6MQ. My flight scheduled for 12/28 at 7:10 am was canceled with reference code 2IU47P. I had booked a ticket under the "Wanna Get Away" fare. I am in need of rescheduling onto another flight at the earliest convenience. Due to the unexpected cancellation, I have incurred additional expenses for accommodations, food, and rental services for the extended stay. Southwest Airlines' phone line has been constantly busy, making it impossible to contact them. Additionally, our baggage, checked in on 12/25, is currently missing.
