I need assistance with my back pay that was approved but has not been received. There seems to be some fraudulent activity around it. I require these funds urgently for legal representation due to a criminal case I am involved in. The situation involves illegal monitoring at my home during an incident that led to my unlawful arrest. I suspect foul play, potentially involving someone breaking into my home under false pretenses. The missing money is crucial for my defense. Any help with this matter is greatly appreciated.

I recently received a letter about reviewing my husband's SSD benefits, even though we went through this process a few years ago and confirmed his disability until January 29, [redacted]. We faced 8 months without insurance or benefits and didn't receive the full amount owed after they stopped his benefits. Mrs. S.H. from the Greenville Disability office assured us this wouldn't happen again but problems persist. In [redacted], they started charging for his Medicare Part B coverage despite having extra help. We've never received benefits for our 10-year-old daughter as promised. Now, our benefits are at risk, and I'm struggling as I started a home business to care for my family. Calling early is challenging due to working nights with Chinese clients. I've had trouble reaching the SSA and was disconnected after providing verifying information. I'm extremely overwhelmed and need assistance.

My Visa card linked to my disability payments from Missouri got canceled recently. I now have a new card for them to load the payments, but the waiting time to reach them on the phone is an hour and 15 minutes. They don't offer a callback option, so you have to wait on the line. Unfortunately, my phone battery died while I waited. Given my mental limitations, I can't handle such long wait times on the phone. It feels frustrating that the social security office doesn't consider this. On the other hand, Medicaid answered promptly when I called them by accident. Why does Medicare make you wait for so long? It seems like there is a preference for those who didn't contribute to the system over those who have. This situation with Missouri Medicaid versus Medicare doesn't make sense. The number I called that ends in [redacted] is just ridiculous.

I need to update my Checking Account Number with Social Security for Direct Deposit of my Social Security Checks. I was on hold earlier today for about 40 minutes, but then got disconnected by mistake. I called from a different phone and spoke to someone at Social Security after being on hold for 45 minutes. My issue has been resolved, and they are sending me a letter as proof. I didn't realize they were open after 5:00 pm. If you face a similar Social Security issue or need to make changes, always request a letter of confirmation from the representative you speak with. It seems important to have proof of any updates made, as my previous changes were not in the system without a letter. Dealing with over 50 million people in some form of Social Security benefits may explain the long hold times when contacting Social Security. It's essential to request documentation for any alterations made.

Hello, my name is Martha S. and I am 73 years old from Colombia, South America. On August 3, [redacted], I submitted the Social Security survivor report to both the USA Embassy in Bogota and your office in the USA. I have been receiving a benefit as a spouse beneficiary on behalf of my husband's retirement. However, for the past two months, this benefit has not been deposited into my Navy Federal account. Can you please provide me with any information regarding this issue? My Social Security number is [redacted]. Thank you.

I recently spoke to a representative from the Florence Social Security office, but had difficulty understanding her due to a muffled voice. I tried to report an issue concerning the Sumter Social Security office repeatedly hanging up on calls without resolution. Despite my requests for a complaint number, the representative evaded the issue and claimed there was no way to prove the behavior of the Sumter office. When I inquired about a call from a Florence supervisor that was never received, I was informed it could take days or even weeks for a return call. Following this, I described a situation in which I was transferred between Sumter and Florence offices with no resolution or call back as promised. The representative insisted that it wasn't their responsibility if letters were not received by clients. I persisted, requesting confirmation of an appeal letter, which the representative initially denied, but eventually admitted had not been sent. After a confrontational exchange, the representative finally confirmed that the appeal letter was not sent, to which I expressed my frustration and ended the call.

I have been on Social Security Disability for a decade. Recently, I switched to a new job with reduced hours to fit my needs. I am in a hospital union, contracted for 20 hours a week earning $12.44 per hour. This puts my monthly income between $[redacted]-$[redacted], below my $[redacted] limit. However, due to the two extra pay periods this year, my earnings might exceed the limit. Despite working a calculated amount each month, these extra paychecks could affect my benefits. I rely on both my benefits and part-time job to sustain myself and afford crucial medications monthly. Being penalized for a paycheck straddling two months seems unfair and could jeopardize my necessary support. I seek guidance to resolve this issue to maintain my benefits and job security.

I recently moved from Texas to Northern Arkansas in February. I updated my address on February 19th. In April, I opened a new bank account for direct deposit. However, my check was not deposited as expected in May, and I now have concerns about my S.S.D.I. benefit for June. Despite resubmitting the information, the direct deposit has not been successful. I closed my old account assuming the new account would receive the deposit. I urgently need the funds due to my medical conditions. My new bank is Centennial Bank in Highland, Arkansas with the routing number [redacted]57 and account number [redacted]. I rely on this income for my bills and with every passing day, the situation becomes more precarious. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and God bless.

I have been through a lot trying to qualify for disability benefits. It's important to know you need to have worked 5 out of the last ten years to be eligible. The process has been frustrating and I feel let down by the system. I've faced challenges with my health and accidents, which have made it hard to work. Despite trying with different advocates and filing myself, I have faced denials. It's disheartening to be turned away when in need. The information about qualifications should be clearer before getting people's hopes up. Hopefully, sharing my experience will shed light on the difficulties faced by those seeking help with disabilities.

Seeking Assistance for Multiple Health Conditions Dealing with a range of medical conditions, including Chronic Compartment Syndrome, Depression, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Narcolepsy, OCD, TBI, Frontal Lobe Damage, Nerve Damage, Anxiety, Bipolar, Seizures, and Lower Back Problems, has been a significant challenge for me. Following multiple vehicle accidents, I only recently regained the ability to walk. Despite my determination to return to work and my reluctance to seek help, my health struggles persist. I have been on medication since a young age and have faced numerous obstacles. Refusing assistance from social services, I aimed to create a successful life on my own terms. However, the denial of support when I finally reached out for help has been disheartening. Facing the realities of my disabilities, like Chronic Compartment Syndrome and an irreparable tibia injury, has been overwhelming. The journey of recovery has been difficult, and the lack of support has left me feeling unsupported in my efforts to move forward.

I retired from a town government job on 3/23/18 (more than a year ago). Since I receive a small pension from that job, my social security benefit is supposed to be reduced, and social security will reclaim the difference. I submitted the required form to social security in November [redacted]. When I called SS a few months ago, the agent couldn't explain the delay in processing the reduction of my SS benefit. I am concerned that due to this extended delay, I will owe a substantial amount that SS will need to recoup. Can someone provide an update on the status of my SS account?

I am a resident of Istanbul. I had to apply for benefits through the Athens office in Greece. Upon their request, I sent a letter stating my last day of work, which is June 28th. My 62nd birthday was on June 1st, and I was informed that my contract is valid until September 1st due to owed vacation pay. However, the Athens office mistakenly informed Social Security that my last day of work is September 1st. Consequently, I was notified that my benefits would start on October 3rd. After contacting Social Security, they advised me that my benefits should begin in August and provided me with a phone number to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, reaching someone at that number has been challenging due to constant recordings. The Athens office has not responded to my inquiries, and a delayed payment would create financial hardships for me. I am seeking a resolution to this predicament promptly.

I recently received a suspicious phone call from [redacted] claiming to be from the Social Security Department. They mentioned "suspicious activity" with my SSN and threatened arrest if I didn't call back immediately. The caller spoke quickly, making it hard to get the number, and requested the last 4 digits of my SSN without specifying who would be arrested. This isn't the first time, as a similar incident occurred with a different number ([redacted]). I'm concerned if this is a scam or identity theft attempt. Your input is appreciated.

I did not receive the Social Security payment for Levi G Martin for July. He is still in school until [redacted] and should continue to receive payments until then. I am unsure why the payment was not deposited onto the card. It is crucial to resolve this issue promptly as we need it to cover a bill. Please confirm that his status as a student is on record. Levi has not graduated, and Social Security assured he would receive benefits until he completes his education. I can arrange for the school to send a fax verifying his enrollment. Additionally, his address has changed to a P.O. Box due to temporary living arrangements during financial hardship.

I understand that Social Security checks are typically payment for the previous month. My friend recently passed away, and her Social Security check was deposited into her account around the time of her passing. I am her Power of Attorney. I just want to clarify if this check belongs to her estate or if I will need to return the funds. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Mbark, and I reside in Spain. I work as a self-employed writer, creating books and ebooks that I publish on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). The IRS classifies me as a Non-Resident Alien due to the Social Security Administration withholding 30% of my benefits between 2[redacted]. I earn royalties from KDP but do not receive any retirement, disability, or survivor benefits. I have obtained an Employer Identification Number (EIN) from the IRS. QUESTIONS: 1. Am I eligible for Social Security benefits? 2. Am I entitled to Social Security retirement benefits? 3. If so, how do I go about paying Social Security tax? 4. How can I withhold taxes independently from my income as a self-employed writer? Thank you.

I recently relocated from California to Washington state and need to update my address for my SSI benefits. I apologize for the delay in informing about this change; transitions are challenging for me due to my disorder, but I am gradually managing my tasks better now.

Last month, my scheduled electronic overnight deposit of my SSA Disability benefit on June 19th was affected when my existing checking account with US Bank was closed without my knowledge. Thankfully, my Branch Manager assisted in opening a new account and transferring my June Benefit amount. However, I was unaware that I needed to update my banking information on My Social Security online. Realizing this mistake today, I logged into my new US Bank account and saw no record of the deposit. I have now updated my account details on My Social Security, but it will take 2 months to process the correction. I urgently need the funds to be transferred to my new account before the 48-hour deadline to avoid having the money returned to the US Treasury. I appreciate any immediate assistance to rectify this situation. Thank you.
