I need assistance with a serious situation involving fraud. Despite my attempts to get help, the employees I have interacted with so far have been unhelpful and rude. My ex-husband's new wife has access to sensitive information about me and my children, causing me great concern. The lack of understanding and compassion from the customer service team has been frustrating, as they seem more focused on meeting quotas than actually resolving my issues. I am exhausted from feeling like just a number to them. I had a positive experience with a lady at the Birmingham Office who treated me with respect, and I believe she deserves recognition for her exceptional customer service.

I provided my routing and checking numbers to the field office in Auburn, California over a month and a half ago to update my direct deposit information with Social Security. Despite confirming with the office staff, only half of my benefits were deposited into my bank account, while the other half went to Direct Express. This has resulted in me facing over $[redacted] in late fees. I have tried contacting Social Security multiple times, but have not been able to get a resolution. I am frustrated and worried about how I will manage these unexpected fees.

My SSDI payment is scheduled to be deposited into my bank account on the 3rd of each month. When the money did not arrive, I initially thought it was due to the holiday. After contacting SSDI customer service twice, I was informed that my account information had been changed, redirecting the payment. Unfortunately, both calls were disconnected just as I expected to receive more information. Today, I have a doctor's appointment and cannot afford to stay on hold to resolve this issue. I am left wondering who changed my bank account details, how it was done, and where my money went. Meanwhile, my bills remain unpaid, and I have no alternative source of income.

Hello, my name is Mark Imbesi. Last year, I applied for Medicare but missed some payment deadlines. Eventually, I paid a large amount and received a Medicare Health Insurance card under the name Mark A Imbesi. The coverage dates are 10-01-[redacted] for Hospital Part A and 11-01-[redacted] for Medical Part B. Unfortunately, service providers say the coverage is not yet active. I have contacted the Social Security administration, but they say it is still in process. I called them again recently but am still waiting. I wanted to share my issue here. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you.

To the Social Security Administration, I wanted to share a recent negative experience I had while trying to contact your customer service team. When I called the phone number provided on your website, I was put on hold for more than 30 minutes. Frustrated, I decided to try the online chat feature. After waiting for over an hour, I was connected to a representative who couldn't assist me and advised me to call the same phone number. Dealing with this situation was disappointing and inconvenient. I believe that an organization as vital as the Social Security Administration should offer better customer service. I hope that improvements can be made to make reaching customer service easier. Thank you for your attention.

I have been attempting to contact [redacted] for several days regarding an outwear jacket order. The jacket I ordered, which is blue and white with white lining, was reported delivered, but I never received it. Instead, I received a small jewelry box with a ring inside, bearing the same address as my missing package. Both parcels share the same order number, and I am unsure how to proceed. Despite their insistence that my order was delivered, it was the wrong item. This situation has left me feeling frustrated and confused. My loved ones advise me to address this issue and not let the company's error go unnoticed. I am seeking assistance and guidance on how to resolve this matter. Thank you.

The Social Security's [redacted] number instructs to call between 8 am and 8 pm, but despite calling since 9:05 a.m., I've been unable to proceed. I filed for benefits on Oct. 5th, aiming to receive my first payment in November. The online system says my application is under review, a process which usually takes two to four weeks, yet it's been eight weeks now. I'm eager to understand the delay and get some clarity on the status of my application.

I am concerned as I did not receive my December payment. Unfortunately, my Cache Valley Bank account was hacked, and a fraudulent $[redacted].00 check from Atlas Credit Union was cashed. The company responsible cannot be located. Despite this, my bank failed to detect this fraudulent activity before it occurred. Following the incident, I had to close my Cache Valley Bank account and open a new one with Wells Fargo. I was informed by the SSI office that my pay check would be deposited into my Wells Fargo account, but this has not happened. I am unsure of what steps to take next and am wondering about the status of my December payment.

I need to speak with a representative regarding my HUD appointment on Thursday. They are asking for a $[redacted].00 down payment, and if I can't provide it, they will move me to the bottom of the waiting list. I have only been receiving $30.00 a month for the last three years. My hip replacement rehab is complete, and I am ready to move as soon as I find a place. I have been trying to contact the Social Security office, but no one is answering. Can anyone assist me with this situation?

I recently received a call from a person who knew my name and address. They asked about my Medicare coverage and mentioned something about my medication. The caller mentioned sending something and asked me to choose a color, but I declined and made it clear not to charge any of my accounts. Even though I didn't provide any account details, I'm concerned as they had some personal information. I want to report this to Social Security to clarify that I didn't authorize any purchases or approve of anything related to this call.

I attempted to log into my Social Security account to check my [redacted] increase. I am unable to recall my username and password as it was set up quite some time ago. I haven't received any information about the new payments, and I'm confused about the situation. My date of birth is January 19, [redacted]; I am Sheryl L. Payne residing in Thief River Falls, MN [redacted]. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

I have 2 questions to ask. 1) My date of birth is 12/31/[redacted], and my full retirement age is 66 and 4 months, which will be at the end of April [redacted]. I want my benefits to start the first month I am eligible without reductions due to earned income. Will I be eligible for benefits in April as someone who reached full retirement age during that month, even though my date of birth is the last day of the month, or do I need to wait until May to avoid reductions due to other income? 2) My wife is older than me and already collects her own benefits. I understand that once I retire, she will be entitled to continue receiving her own benefit or 50% of mine, whichever is more. If 50% of my benefit is more, does she need to apply for the change, and would that change start the same month I begin to collect?

I need to check if I will receive my full February payment. I recently filled out paperwork to stop wage garnishment, causing my January payment to be reduced. The staff mentioned that February's payment should be the full amount. I struggled to pay my rent last month and now face eviction. I just want to confirm if I will get my full payment for February. I hope to avoid taking the bus to inquire about this one issue.

I am having trouble logging in with my previous username and password. When I try to reset the password, the system still doesn't recognize my account. After attempting to create a new account and entering all the necessary information with a verification code, the system still tells me an account has already been created with that information. This ongoing cycle has now resulted in my account being locked for 24 hours due to multiple failed login attempts. The message displayed states that my electronic access to personal information has been suspended temporarily. It suggests waiting 24 hours before trying again and double-checking personal information before using the online service.

I have recently discovered evidence that indicates I am entitled to more work credits and thus should be receiving a higher amount. Unfortunately, I am experiencing difficulty logging into my SSA account on MYssa.com and my attempts to contact them by phone have been unsuccessful, despite having international calling capabilities. I have already informed the FBU office in Krakow, Poland about my situation, and they have reassured me that everything is in order. I kindly request for this email to be forwarded to the F.B.U. office in Krakow, Poland as I am currently unable to travel back to the U.S. to resolve this issue promptly. I trust that the F.B.U. office will be able to aid me in this matter. If necessary, I am willing to return to the U.S. to address any concerns. It is important to note that I am committed to my U.S. citizenship and may consider becoming a United States National in the future. The SSA has regulations outlined in their POMS regarding this matter. Thank you for your assistance. Subject: Issues Accessing Online Services Hello, I have been living in Thailand for the past five years. Since November [redacted], I have been unable to log in to the Online services. While I could access it in previous years, the "secure.ssa.gov" login page is currently not loading for me. The message displayed states, "Could not open page because the server stopped responding." I have tried using both the older style login and the login.gov format, but I cannot proceed due to the page not loading. Interestingly, I can access the OPM online services site without any problems. I require my [redacted] SS earnings statement for the tax year [redacted] to file my tax return. Could you assist me in resolving this matter? Thank you for your help. Best regards, James S.

I am a retired USAF enlisted member, 78 years old, and my wife, 80 years old and handicapped, are currently living in Germany. We have been attempting to obtain the Form 1099R for over three months to file our Federal Income Taxes. Contacting the SSA has proven to be quite challenging, especially from overseas. The long wait times on the 1-[redacted] line, dropped calls, and difficulty reaching a knowledgeable customer service representative have made it nearly impossible to get assistance. Despite writing letters to higher-ups, we have not had any luck. If anyone from the SSA is listening, we would greatly appreciate speaking to a live person. Additionally, the FBU at the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany has been unresponsive and slow in their assistance.

I am looking to obtain a copy of my mother's Social Security statement and her [redacted] year-end report for tax purposes. My mother, Dolores G. Glesner, has relocated to an assisted living facility in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, her year-end report was not forwarded to her new address, and she hasn't been able to receive it. As she is 94 years old and unable to handle this matter herself, I am reaching out on her behalf to ensure we can file her income taxes accurately. I need to update her address as well. Thank you. In March, my payment was suspended without a reason. I currently reside in Morocco, and it takes approximately 7 weeks for mail to reach me from Errachidia. Communication with the international social security operations is challenging from my location, and I cannot access the online portal. Despite contacting the social security operator, I still do not have clarity on why my payments were suspended, and no forms have been received. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

I've found that waiting on hold to speak with a customer service representative can be a lengthy process that calls for a good deal of patience. The wait time can vary depending on how many calls the company is receiving and how many staff members are available, ranging from a short wait to potentially hours. This can be especially frustrating if you're busy with work or other responsibilities. Even after finally getting through to an agent, your problem may not be resolved promptly. Because of this, waiting on hold might not be the most efficient use of time, especially for those with limited availability.
