I am experiencing difficulties signing into my Snapchat account. This issue began on October 19, [redacted]. Upon opening the Snapchat app, I receive a message stating that the version of Snapchat I am using is no longer supported, but this message only appears when trying to access my specific account, not when logging into other accounts. I suspect this may be due to previously logging into my account on a friend's device with a newer version of Snapchat. Despite being able to log into other accounts on my device, I am unable to access mine. My account has been permanently locked, and I understand the situation, but I feel it's unjust. My brother's account has been banned, and he's prohibited from creating new accounts. Although I agree with his ban, he attempted to bypass it by creating a new account on my phone. I informed him this wouldn't work, as his ban applies to his information. Despite this warning, he persisted, unsuccessfully. Due to his actions, my account got locked permanently, even though I never violated Snapchat's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines. My Snapchat account was permanently locked about 2-3 weeks ago, username @veeruska2008. The reason was possibly due to spamming stickers with my best friend, which I didn't know was against the rules. I've tried contacting Snapchat multiple times, but the responses haven't been helpful. I am in disbelief that my account was suspended for a post made by someone else while my phone was in their possession. In Washington where I reside, marijuana is legal, and the post was about that. Snapchat is the primary app I use, and losing access to it means losing precious memories. It's unjust to penalize me for something legal in my state. I'm currently locked out of my Snapchat account because of the two-step verification process. Unfortunately, the system is linked to my old phone number, which I no longer have.
