During Step 4 of the online process for Identity Verification, I kept encountering an error message preventing me from proceeding to Step 5. Despite multiple attempts, the message "Sorry, Experian couldn't verify your identity" consistently appeared, prompting me to go back to Step 1. I have tried contacting Experian via email, but haven't had any success resolving the issue.
Given the necessity of SMUD for electricity at my new apartment, I'm seeking alternative methods for creating an account and requesting service. Is it possible to do this over the phone instead of through the website? I've attempted to seek assistance by calling the provided number on the SMUD website, but the calls keep dropping after numerous tries. Are there other customer service numbers available that I could use to address this matter promptly and ensure a smooth transition into my new residence? A swift resolution would be greatly appreciated to avoid any disruptions in service due to the current challenges faced with the online registration process.
