I am writing to address an issue with my delayed luggage on a recent Qatar Airlines flight. Despite my partner receiving her luggage at our final destination (BKK airport), my luggage was delayed, and she carried the tag with my reference. Consequently, I had to submit the claim under her flight and ticket reference, as the claim must match the tag.
I have encountered difficulty reaching Qatar Airlines via email regarding this matter. The baggage handling agency at the airport was unable to provide me with the necessary email address. Fortunately, our hotel in Thailand assisted in sending the relevant forms to the agency. Although the forms were sent twice and confirmed received by Qatar, I received an email from Qatar with a link to complete and return the form, which I am having trouble with due to my limited computer skills.
Upon visiting the BKK airport office multiple times, I was informed that they do not handle this matter and must complete the form from the link provided. I am now at home struggling to fill out the Qatar forms online. I am seeking assistance either via phone or email from Qatar Airlines to address this issue promptly, as they have all the necessary scanned documents.

On April 3-4, I had a flight from Durban to Doha with a connection in Johannesburg. Due to a delay in Johannesburg, I missed my flight to Madrid and then to Porto. In Doha, I was rerouted to London and then Porto, but my luggage did not arrive as promised. It has been 48 hours, and I am still waiting for both of my bags to be delivered to my address in Porto. I understand the transfer to British Airways, but the delay in receiving my luggage is frustrating. I had to buy clothing and cosmetics to manage for the past two days. I am waiting for confirmation on the delivery of one suitcase, while the other is expected tomorrow evening, which is inconvenient. I don't have chargers for my laptop or all my cosmetics. I am in Porto briefly, and this situation is costly and inconvenient for me. My luggage tags are 0 [redacted]36 and 0 [redacted]37. My flight reference number was VEFZAM. I would like to report an issue I encountered while trying to add 10kg of extra baggage to my Qatar Airways ticket number [redacted][redacted] through their official website. I made the payment online, but it did not reflect in Qatar Airways' account, and the additional baggage was not added. I want to highly recommend a stellar staff member for outstanding customer service on my flight from Dublin to Doha on QR 20 on March 30, [redacted]. Claudette Valenzuela, QR staff number [redacted], went above and beyond. She was by far the best staff member my family has encountered in our 50 years of international travel. Claudette was polite, courteous, and incredibly experienced. She took the time to explain the menu, address questions, and made each passenger feel valued. Thanks to Claudette's exceptional service and individual attention, my family and I will continue to choose Qatar Airways for our future travels.

My reservation is 62PVJO for a trip from Mel to Waw on 24 Apr, returning on 5 July. I already paid $[redacted], but today I was informed that I have to pay extra for a seat. At 68 years old and with hip replacements, I always get an aisle seat for free on Emirates and Qantas without any issues. Qatar now wants to charge me at least $50 per seat, totaling $[redacted]. I travel to Europe annually with Qantas and Emirates. This year, giving Qatar a chance, I am surprised by the additional seat charge. It's disappointing, especially because I physically cannot climb over another passenger. I kindly request to reserve an aisle seat without a fee. Paying $[redacted] is already a significant cost as a retiree. I visit Poland to see my family, and an extra $[redacted] is a substantial amount for me. I have a travel voucher that is expiring in three months, but I am unable to travel due to health reasons. Last year, I was diagnosed with blood cancer and underwent chemotherapy until February, which has weakened my immune system. I am currently on antibiotics and advised against traveling. I am writing to request a refund for the missed flight on March 23, [redacted]. Due to delays in the connecting flight from DOHA TO SEATTLE and an early departure of the flight from SEATTLE TO VANCOUVER, my travel plans were disrupted. The lack of assistance from the airline staff, particularly the worker from QATAR AIRLINES, was disappointing. Despite our efforts, we were left stranded at the airport and had to arrange and pay for alternative transportation to our destination. The poor customer service and lack of support during this stressful situation were unacceptable. It is important to address this issue promptly as we were not at fault for the missed connection. I trust that appropriate action will be taken to resolve this matter.

My flight (Booking Reference: SUYM5R; Ticket Number: [redacted][redacted]) was delayed in Arlanda Stockholm, resulting in me missing my connecting flight to Lulea (SK [redacted] at 8:20 am on 4th April) as a transfer passenger. Due to the delay, I had to endure over 6 hours of waiting at the airport without clothing or baby food for my little one. This led to both my baby and myself falling ill, persisting until last week Thursday. The experiences we had due to the inconveniences caused by your airline prompt us to request compensation or a refund.

We are scheduled for a flight on May 15 from Osaka to Dulles Airport with CONFIRMATION #s 2XILFP (James Strus) and 2XGLBB (Anong Strus). Yesterday, my flight from Bangkok to Madrid with a layover in Doha was delayed, causing me to miss my connecting flight. The airline provided me with a new boarding pass for a flight at 7am but did not offer any food or accommodation, as they claimed there were no hotels available. I ended up spending 6 hours at the Doha airport. Due to the flight delay, I also missed my connection from Madrid to Tenerife on Monday, resulting in having to purchase a new flight and spending hours at the airport waiting. I incurred additional expenses for meals and water during this ordeal. I believe I deserve compensation for the inconvenience and financial burden caused by the airline's delays and lack of assistance.

I am contacting regarding FP CASE REF - HYDLP31892. My 81-year-old father lost his brown pouch while traveling from the US to India in September [redacted], likely in Doha. Qatar Airways informed us that it had been found and registered under the reference number [DOHFP66737]. Communication with [redacted] indicates the pouch is being held at the storage facility until my father can retrieve it from Hyderabad Airport (HYD). As of the latest update on December 19th, the process of sending the item is in its final stages, but no confirmed date was provided. My father, who is eager to regain his belongings like cash, US Visa, and India Aadhar card, needs the pouch to travel back to the US. Any assistance in expediting this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I flew from Houston to India and had my baggage lost on the way back to Houston from Hyderabad. I completed a form at the airport and got a contact number for updates. Despite 10 days passing, my lost baggage hasn't been found. I attempted to reach out to the provided number with no luck. Qatar Airways suggested I fill out a property evaluation form, which I did, but responses through chat are sporadic, and calls were unsuccessful. Tracking online yielded no results even after nearly a year. They haven't refunded me for the missing baggage and lack communication, promising contact from Houston authorities that never happened. Conversations on WhatsApp haven't been productive either. I've kept a record of all chat interactions and feel frustrated by their lack of responsibility and disregard for passenger concerns.

I recently had an accident and dislocated my shoulder, requiring a major operation. Due to this, I needed to change my Qatar flight scheduled for 11/5/23. However, when I attempted to do so, I accidentally canceled the booking. Despite contacting Qatar Airways in Sydney, I initially was informed I would receive a full refund. Nevertheless, a subsequent conversation with a staff member named Bless on 24/4/23 revealed that I might not get a complete refund. I am 73 years old and not very tech-savvy, and traveling with this injury is challenging at my age. I hope to either rebook the flight for a later date or receive a refund due to my medical condition. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am inquiring if Qatar Airways could please allow me an extra 10 kg of baggage for my reservation (5Y997P). I am currently facing a difficult situation as my husband passed away overseas, and I would like to bring back his belongings. As a 78-year-old pensioner struggling financially, having undergone multiple surgeries including two knee replacements, I am aware of the policy regarding excess baggage fees for weights over 30 kg. However, I am kindly requesting an exception due to my circumstances as a grieving widow with limited resources. I chose your airline to travel with my family seeking the best experience. Unfortunately, after spending a substantial amount on tickets, the process of receiving our miles has been a nightmare. Despite countless calls, promises of resolution, and reassurances that it will be corrected soon, only a few family members have received their miles, while some got only half, and others have not received any at all. This inconsistency and lack of follow-through are frustrating. We urge you to promptly address this issue for all affected family members. We have been loyal travelers, and a simple matter like this should not be so difficult to rectify. Failure to resolve this promptly may result in negative feedback on social media platforms. The level of customer service we have experienced has been disappointing, unprofessional, and reflects poorly on your company.

I am reaching out regarding my clients' recent travel from Doha to Bali. They encountered an issue due to a plane change which resulted in not receiving the upgraded seats they had purchased.

Despite upgrading to economy premium, the seat change prevented them from accessing the expected service. My clients are now requesting a refund for the price difference between the economy and economy premium seats.
I understand that unforeseen technical issues can occur, leading to inconveniences for passengers. However, as my clients paid for an enhanced service that was not provided, I respectfully ask for the reimbursement they are entitled to.

I arrived at the airport 9 hours before my Qatar Airways flight. However, the airline staff only showed up half an hour before the flight. They did not provide my boarding pass, did not allow me to go through immigration, and did not let me fly. They claimed they could not see my second flight and final destination in their system. They then said my layover was more than 24 hours, so I could not board the flight to Doha, Qatar. Despite their promises to assist me with American Airlines, there was no help provided. I was left stranded without any assistance, and they even insulted me. They did not give me anything in writing and escorted me out of the airport. I am a US citizen trying to return home, but they were extremely rude. I am now stuck in India and urgently need help.
