My wife and I flew from Manchester to Perth on 27/02/[redacted] via Doha and Brisbane. Upon arrival in Brisbane on 28/2/[redacted], we discovered the connecting flight had departed only an hour late, leaving us stranded. Surprisingly, our itinerary showed no connecting flight, and we were informed we had to wait until the next day around 12.15pm. Due to Qatar Airways' oversight, we had to secure our own accommodation as all hotels were fully booked. This delay also meant our PCR test for Perth would expire, requiring us to take a new test at Brisbane Airport. We incurred expenses for PCR tests, taxis, hotel, and meals. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with how Qatar Airways mishandled my luggage during my recent trip. I flew from Belfast to Edinburgh (with codeshare partner Aer Lingus), then from Edinburgh to Doha, and finally to Dubai. Upon arriving on the early morning of the 30th, I discovered that my baggage was missing. I promptly filed a complaint with ground handling service provider Dnata and obtained a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) number. Since then, I have been attempting to get information about my luggage without success. Dnata directed me to contact Qatar Airways, but I have had trouble reaching the appropriate personnel. I provided my contact details to Dnata but have not received any updates. Additionally, the travel agent I booked my ticket through has not been informed either. My baggage contains essential documents needed for my UK exams and my marriage certificate, as I am a doctor. If I do not receive an update within 24 hours, I will begin legal action. I am also concerned about how Qatar Airways will handle passengers during the upcoming World Cup with such inadequate service. Please see the attached documents. I look forward to an immediate response.

My booking reference is 3H4N9I. I am traveling from Bangalore to Doha, Doha to Boston, Atlanta to Doha, and then back to Bangalore. The passengers on this booking are Mr. A. M. Poonawala and Mrs. F. A. Poonawala. In the email I received from Qatar Airways, the baggage allowance for the Bangalore to Doha and Doha to Boston flights states "Economy (T) Not included," while for the Atlanta to Doha and Doha to Bangalore flights it says "Economy(Q) Adult: 2 piece(s) 23 Kg each." I am wondering if we should have the same free checked baggage allowance for all legs of the journey. Do we need to pay for the standard allowance if it's different?

On May 7, [redacted], as a senior citizen, I travelled on Qatar Airways flight QR [redacted] from Edinburgh to Doha with my spouse. Unexpectedly, I had to fulfill certain requirements at Edinburgh Airport, which involved online entries. Unfortunately, the free WIFI at the airport was inaccessible. However, during this challenging situation, Ahmed, your staff member, demonstrated remarkable patience and understanding. He provided us with utmost assistance, allowing us to board the flight smoothly. I am grateful for his exceptional customer support. Subject: Qatar Airways Travel Experience Feedback

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent travel experience with Qatar Airways. My flight from Singapore to Pittsburgh was disrupted, causing me significant inconvenience. The transit flight from Doha to Boston (QR743) on 8th June was delayed due to a plane technical fault, leading to a series of unfortunate events.
I spent 6 hours stranded at Doha airport and missed my connecting flight from Boston to Pittsburgh. The rebooked flight on 9th June forced me to stay overnight at Boston airport without proper accommodation or meal vouchers. Consequently, I arrived in Pittsburgh 14 hours later than planned, missing my hotel reservation and disrupting my itinerary.
I am requesting compensation for the lost hotel stay, assistance for my return journey from Pittsburgh to Singapore, and any other suitable compensation for the unsatisfactory experience. I have attached relevant flight disruption records and expenses for your reference.

Subsequently, I had to purchase a ticket with Finnair to reach my destination smoothly, an airline that required a simpler vaccination certificate for travel.

My journey to India went smoothly. However, my return flight from Hyderabad, India to Washington D.C., USA, originally scheduled for March 29, [redacted], was suddenly postponed by Qatar Airways by 3 days. This unexpected change has caused significant inconvenience to my family and work schedule.

Dear Customer Service,
I had booked a ticket to Erbil, Iraq in January [redacted] through eDreams. However, I was unable to make the trip due to the Iraqi government imposing restrictions on British travelers entering the country because of Covid-19. I requested a refund from eDreams, but they informed me that the ticket was non-refundable. They advised me that I could only rebook a different ticket with an open ticket option and suggested I contact them directly to proceed.
After waiting 18 months for a refund, I received an email instructing me to reach out to resolve the issue. I am now attempting to rebook a new ticket to Medina, Saudi Arabia in February next year. Would you kindly assist me further regarding this matter?

I traveled on Qatar Airways on June 20th from Hyderabad, India to Montreal, Canada. Unfortunately, I lost my baggage during the trip and filed a complaint at the airport with your team. I made a booking via Hotwire for a flight with Qatar Airways from Chicago to New York, then to Doha, Lahore, and back. On March 22, Hotwire notified me that there was a change in the itinerary, including a longer layover in Doha and a switch from American Airlines to Qatar Airways for my final leg from Doha to Chicago. I approved the change and received confirmation.
However, upon flying on June 15, I faced issues where the ticket for the final segment from Doha to Chicago was missing at check-in. Despite resolving it with Hotwire during a 2-hour call, the problem persisted. After receiving a new ticket, I later discovered that the Lahore to Doha segment was missing. Confusion arose between emails from Qatar Airways and the information displayed online.
Finding myself in Pakistan, calling Hotwire would be costly.

I recently made changes to my Qatar Airways flight booking online, switching from a flight from Shiraz to Edmonton to a flight from Shiraz to Vancouver at a lower price. The booking process did not require me to make any additional payments due to the decrease in fare. I traveled in business class on Qatar Airways from Dallas, Texas on flight QR0730 on June 25, [redacted], and arrived in Ahmedabad on the morning of the 26th on flight QR0534.
Unfortunately, my luggage has gone missing, and when I checked on the website using the World Tracer number AMDQR22464, it couldn't be tracked. The bag contains essential items like medication, clothes, shoes, and toiletries.
I am currently in India for four weeks and being without my luggage is very inconvenient. I kindly request to either speak to someone regarding the missing bag or for Qatar Airways to provide an update on its whereabouts promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

On 27/06/22, I flew with Qatar Airways and unfortunately, my baggage was misplaced during my journey causing significant distress. Despite being assured by a Qatar Airways assistant at LGW airport that my bag would be delivered promptly and that I would receive tracking information via email, no updates have been received. The lost bag contains crucial medication vital for my health, compounding my anxiety. Regrettably, attempts to contact both Qatar Airways and Gatwick airport have been futile. The lack of support and communication from Qatar Airways is disappointing and I feel let down. This experience has soured my opinion, and I will not be recommending nor utilizing their services in the future. Our bag has not arrived, leaving us with nothing to wear and our money and cards trapped inside. This situation is incredibly frustrating and unfair to us. The afternoon is approaching, and we have no outfits or resources to buy anything to eat. Despite our attempts to reach out to the staff, they have been unhelpful and inconsiderate. We are now stuck spending the day in the hotel room due to this poor service. The flight delays originating in London have made this journey exceptionally long with still no sign of our luggage. We are requesting an extension to our trip until tomorrow as a whole day has been wasted because of these issues. I'm Melanie G., and I had a series of flights recently. On June 29th, I took flight QR 10 from London to Doha and then QR [redacted] to Islamabad on June 30th, after traveling from Toronto. However, upon arriving in Islamabad, my baggage did not make it. I reported this on July 1st but have yet to receive a file reference number for the lost luggage. Qatar Airways requires this reference number for assistance.
Additionally, the bag numbers were incorrectly inputted in Islamabad as BA [redacted] and BA [redacted] instead of the correct BA746196 and BA746223. I am currently unable to resolve these issues directly as I am in Afghanistan. Qatar Airways in Islamabad is not answering my calls to provide the file number or rectify the bag number errors, making it difficult for me to track my bags.

I am Gyurmay Sangmo. During our journey from Manchester to Bangalore via Doha with Qatar Airways, our luggage did not arrive in India. Indigo has informed us that the luggage was not loaded from Doha. It has been 48 hours, and we are unable to locate our luggage. Despite contacting Indigo's customer care multiple times, we have not received a satisfactory response. We are becoming increasingly frustrated as we have important items in our bags.
