My PlayStation account got banned approximately 2-3 years ago due to a community guidelines violation. The account was wrongfully taken from me, and once I regained access, I left all the communities the person who took it had joined. I didn't realize that my messages would still be linked to my account despite leaving those groups. The person who took the account had used it for trading and selling without my knowledge. Shortly after this, my account was banned from PSN without any prior warnings. I hadn't attempted to recover it, assuming it was futile, but now I'm hoping for a resolution to this situation.

My account was recently compromised. The email associated with it was changed without my authorization. Previously, it was [redacted] I am Nico Siebers, and my last username was bmg_nico9. The "bmg" represents my favorite football club, Borussia Mönchengladbach, and the "9" symbolizes my birth month, September. On March 27th of this year, my attempts to regain control and secure the account from the hacker have been unsuccessful. I am seeking assistance to reclaim access to my account as I would like my younger brother to be able to enjoy some gaming. Otherwise, he might need to repurchase games like FIFA and Minecraft, which can be costly.

Last week, I received an unsettling email indicating multiple login attempts from Iran and the Netherlands on my account. Taking action, I promptly implemented two-step verification and monitored the situation. To my dismay, while enjoying football yesterday, I discovered I had been logged out of my PS5. Investigating further through my mother's emails, it became evident that my account had been compromised. The orchestrated hacking incidents occurred strategically when PlayStation support was inaccessible, indicating a targeted attack. The culprit continuously altered their IP location, bouncing between Iran, the Netherlands, and eventually Ireland.

I encountered an issue last night when attempting to log in to my PlayStation4 and was unable to access my PlayStation Network account. Typically, this process is seamless, so I found this occurrence quite peculiar. Despite attempting to log in manually and reset my password, I was unsuccessful. When trying to reset my password, I was only prompted to enter my date of birth, which surprised me as it has not changed. Upon further investigation, I discovered two unauthorized purchases on July 18th, which I did not make. I have not utilized my console since late June, and I am the only one with access to my account. I am reaching out for assistance to rectify this situation, speak with a representative to secure my account, and request a refund for the unauthorized transactions. Although I have prevented future payments by blocking the payment methods used, it is essential to address this breach promptly. I believe that my account may have been compromised through a security breach on the PlayStation Network.

I am having trouble signing in to my PlayStation Network account under the email [redacted] I recently changed my password and now it's asking me to sign in to an authenticated app to get a code, but I don't have access to that phone number anymore. The phone number tied to the account is no longer in use, and the birthdate on the account is incorrect due to an error when setting it up for my eldest child. Additionally, I noticed a charge of $7.99 on one of my PS accounts, but as I have 4 boys using PS4, I am unsure which account it is linked to. My priority is regaining access to my PSN account. I believed I had successfully canceled my PlayStation Plus automatic recurring payments. I reached out to the company within 3 hours of the charge once I discovered it. I have not utilized the service for some time as I no longer have the console. Despite multiple attempts to discuss the situation with them, I keep getting disconnected or receiving unhelpful responses. I feel frustrated as I am being billed for a service I am unable to access. While they agreed to cancel my subscription, they are still insisting on charging me $[redacted] for a year of service that I cannot utilize.

I am seeking assistance from PlayStation customer service to receive refunds for several unauthorized game purchases made on my account. My account was compromised, and the individual altered my login details and utilized a cancelled credit card linked to my account to buy games for a different PlayStation console unrelated to me. After regaining control of my account, I want to pursue refunds for the unauthorized purchases. I have attempted to reach out through their chat support channel; however, the transfer to the refund department consistently results in long wait times exceeding 10 minutes, with no clear notification upon their response in the chat. During some of my chat interactions, I was informed I couldn't be assisted as I was outside their operating hours. Recently, due to extended wait times, I was advised to try again later. Despite my attempts to obtain the customer service number, the chat bot fails to comprehend my request. Today, I dialed the provided number ([redacted]) from their website, only to be informed that my request couldn't be accommodated due to high call volumes.

I recently got banned from my PlayStation account. Initially, I received a seven-day ban for a reason I'm unaware of. Following this, I was banned for 60 days for the same unspecified reason. I haven't repeated any mistakes. After my initial seven-day ban, I reconnected with friends, played a bit, and the next morning, I was surprised to find an email stating I was banned for 60 days for violating terms I wasn't familiar with. I didn't engage with anyone on that day, leaving me puzzled about the situation.

Good morning, My account was permanently banned back on February 23, [redacted], due to insults directed at another player in a video game. I am reaching out over a year later to seek forgiveness. I was only 18 years old and had a lot of pent-up anger due to study issues. The first instance of my account being suspended caught me by surprise as I couldn't access the email linked to my PlayStation account. The second suspension came about when I stood up for a child being bullied in a group chat, resulting in the group turning on me, possibly leading to reports and a ban. This recent and final suspension resulted from my instigation of conflicts with others without cause. I understand my misconduct and acknowledge my error in provoking unnecessary issues. I am reaching out to request a review of the permanent suspension placed on my account.

I purchased a PS4 about four or five years ago and set it as my primary console with the account name TheCrotch187. Unfortunately, my PS4 stopped working two years ago, displaying a red light when turned on. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps, I have been unable to resolve the issue. I was underage when I created the account and did not keep record of the details, making it challenging to log into the account on my new PS4. I believe the birth date and place of birth associated with the account might be incorrect. Although I can access the email linked to the account, I have forgotten the password for the PS4. I still have the malfunctioning PS4 with the account details on it, including the serial number and MAC Address. While playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege with a friend, we encountered a player using a XIM (a device that allows the use of mouse and keyboard on consoles), and I referred to them as a "ximmer" since their name indicated it. Unfortunately, the player reported me, leading to a one-month ban due to the misunderstanding that I had used inappropriate language. I borrowed a PS4 from a friend, but as I don't have a TV or monitor, I attempted to use my MacBook as a screen. My friend's console was stolen, which had my account information with my card details. The thief accessed my account and made seven unauthorized purchases using my debit card. Upon discovering this, I filed disputes with my bank to reclaim the $[redacted] lost. After successfully resolving the fraud dispute and getting my money back, Playstation banned my account due to the chargebacks, even though I did not authorize those transactions. Despite numerous calls and submitting dispute papers, my account was only unbanned briefly for two weeks before being banned again for a single purchase of $79.99. I feel it is unjust to have to repurchase my account to regain access when I should not be held responsible for these actions.
