I am trying to order parts for our '80 911SC, a cherished family car for 31 years. I chatted with Bill online, and he provided a quote for the front and rear hood shocks. However, every time I try to pay via PayPal on your website, I get kicked out of the system. It seems there is a glitch with the PayPal payment process on your platform. I have made several unsuccessful attempts to complete the transaction. I hope you can identify and fix the issue soon. When trying to reach out through your designated channels, I have encountered difficulties in conveying my problem. It appears challenging for potential customers to address concerns with your company and rectify issues faced while operating within your business framework. Regrettably, your current system is subpar, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. Glen from Boerne, Texas

I placed an order for a lower control arm bushing under Order # 18-[redacted]7. I upgraded to UPS Next Day Air for an additional $35 to ensure delivery by Friday. However, UPS failed to meet their guaranteed delivery date as per the tracking number 1ZE[redacted][redacted]. Despite signing up for updates and providing my contact details, I did not receive any notifications regarding the change in delivery date. When I contacted UPS to file a claim, they directed me to contact you because the account is with your company. It seems odd, but I am now attempting to pursue a refund for the UPS Next Day Air charges. I have evidence of the original delivery date provided and the reinstatement of the UPS Next Day Air guarantee on April 5th, [redacted].

Good evening, I placed an order that promised delivery on April 23 for an extra $35, but my package is now delayed until Monday the 26th without any prior communication. I provided my contact details for updates and was relying on the next day air policy that recently started. Unfortunately, the item in the package was crucial for my daughter's birthday gift, and I now have to spend additional money to rent a vehicle. Although UPS confirmed I am eligible for a refund, I need to contact the sender since I don't have an account with UPS.

I accidentally ordered a [redacted] Corolla grill instead of the one for a [redacted] Camry. I need guidance on how to return the item and exchange it for the correct Camry grill, even if there's a price difference. I prefer not to return it since I'll lose money on shipping for my mistake. I was informed that shipping costs won't be refunded, so I'm stuck with the wrong item. It seems like the company prioritizes costs over customer satisfaction. I might end up keeping the unwanted grill. The thought of having to pay for return shipping is discouraging. They mentioned using eBay for resolving shipping cost issues, but I'm not interested. I'll likely pay extra to buy from a different company next time.

Dear Community Members, I want to alert you to a situation involving Mary Ashley (Steven Blosser) where they claimed parts had been stolen, which is untrue. They had agreed to pay me for the parts, but then Steven Blosser refused to do so and demanded the parts without honoring our agreement. Please withhold any resending of parts as they were not stolen, but were to be held until payment was made. This issue lies with Mary Ashley (Steven Blosser), and not with you or UPS. Thank you for your understanding. Regards, Charlita Covington

I am seeking assistance with a [redacted] Geo Metro fuel pump assembly. I want to clarify if it is available for purchase without any unnecessary upselling. I am becoming frustrated with the lack of clear communication and would appreciate a straightforward answer regarding the product's availability. Your integrity and professionalism are important in this interaction. Thank you for addressing my inquiry promptly and respectfully.

I purchased a seat adjustment handle for my [redacted] GMC Sonoma for $19.98 on August 31, [redacted]. The package arrived about a week later, but unfortunately, it did not fit my vehicle. Following the advice of a sales representative from Pennsylvania, I returned the item through Fed Ex. However, I have yet to receive the $19.98 refund to my NFCU account after several weeks. Could you kindly assist me in looking into this return? Thank you. - Michael L. Dubbs

I recently received the Dorman ignition switch I ordered for my [redacted] Mercury Marquis. Unfortunately, despite following the instructions carefully and visiting the Dorman site for troubleshooting, I've been unable to complete the 10-minute programming process. The switch does not beep or progress beyond that point. I would like to return it, and I am willing to cover the shipping costs. If you could provide me with a return address label, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, I will arrange for the return myself. The order details are as follows: Order: [redacted]5 [redacted] P/O: [redacted]7 Part: RB989-[redacted] On a related note, I learned from the staff at Pep Boys this morning that Ford may need to program this key switch, not the customer. I will await further guidance from Parts Geek before proceeding with the return. Thank you for your assistance.

I recently ordered a right rear window regulator, but I received an engine part instead. I have been dealing with two sales representatives who gave me conflicting information. The first one advised me not to send the item back until I receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) sticker by mail, which I have yet to receive after waiting four days. When I called back today, the second sales rep told me I would get the RMA via email, but five hours later, I still have not received it. I am frustrated and disappointed with the service I have received and I just want to return the item, receive my refund, and not have to do business with this company again. I have had better experiences with AUTOHAUZ.

Order number [redacted] from Parts Geek was shipped on 11/30. The order was for two O2 sensors for a [redacted] Ram [redacted] 5.2. The downstream part #[redacted] is correct, but the upstream part #[redacted] was wrong. The box had signs of being tampered with before. The incorrect sensor lacks a cap and anti-seize, the wire is 7 inches instead of 12 inches. The sensor received has the numbers FOOHLOO [redacted] and [redacted] 12V [redacted], while the correct one should be FOOHLOO [redacted] and [redacted] 12V [redacted], according to Bosch. Despite several calls left with customer service for a call back, there has been no response. It is now mid-December, and the lack of acknowledgment for the mistake is unacceptable. Requesting the correct sensor to be sent promptly to rectify the situation without further hassle. The hope is for the company to honorably fix the error. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Jeff V.

When I purchased my order, I selected next day air shipping. To my disappointment, upon receiving the tracking information via email, I discovered that my package is only 20 minutes away from me at the shipping facility. It seems unnecessary to have paid for next day air if it wasn't truly available. I would have opted for a cheaper local store option that could have provided the item by Monday. I kindly request a refund of the $34.95 next day shipping charge from Parts Geek.

I recently purchased a left side mirror for my [redacted] Chevy Silverado [redacted] Pick Up truck and had it installed by a licensed mechanic. While the new mirror resembled the right side mirror in appearance, it had features like heating, a visible indicator arrow, and automatic folding. However, the mirror's glass was imperfect, causing a distorted reflection. Additionally, when folding the mirror, it stopped about 4 inches away from the truck's body, unlike the right side mirror which stops at 1-2 inches. I am requesting an RMA number to return the mirror and receive a full refund.

I am Lance R. Byrd. Last week, on Thursday, I placed a $[redacted] order. Afterward, I received an email requesting a picture of my ID displaying my address, which seemed unusual to me. I want to verify if this request is valid as I haven't encountered this before in my online shopping experiences. I'm concerned about the delay as I was expecting the parts for my Dodge Caravan by Thursday to fix it before my trip on Friday, 2.18.22. Now, due to this unexpected email, it seems like my plans are disrupted. I am disappointed by the timing of this request from Partsgeek.

I exchanged a job for parts with a customer who didn't have cash. The order number is 18-[redacted]1, and the parts should fit a [redacted] Jeep Grand Cherokee. The parts were supposed to be sent to my address, [redacted] E Geneva St, Elkhorn, WI [redacted], under the name Jason Marrari, but the payment was made by the customer (name available upon request). I am unsure which email was used for the purchase, so I don't have access to check the status. The payer claims to have sent multiple emails without any response regarding why the parts were not delivered. I haven't received the parts or any shipping information. I would appreciate any forwarded correspondence or updates on the order so I can resolve the issue without legal action. I don't need payment account details, just verification that the order I was present for was not canceled or unpaid. Please let me know if you can assist.

I purchased a lens cover for my [redacted] Mercedes S420 driver's side headlight with order #18-[redacted]0. The delivery via UPS arrived on 3/22/[redacted] at 5:29 PM Mountain Time in Tucson, left on my porch. The outer box was undamaged, but the inner Mercedes box was severely damaged and retaped, with broken glass inside. The packaging was insufficient for shipping, and the item was shattered. The inner box showed signs of rough handling. Parts Geek has confirmed the item is now out of stock. I am requesting a refund for the item cost, handling, and shipping fees.

I purchased a fuel pump for my van and followed all the verification steps for the warranty. The product worked well for 2.5 weeks before failing while I was out of town at a family event. I had to get the car towed, and a mechanic confirmed it was the fuel pump malfunctioning. Now, stranded in a hotel, I contacted Parts Geek who asked me to return the pump before issuing a refund. This means I have to pay the mechanic again to remove it, bear the shipping cost, and then pay for reinstallation. The total cost is over $[redacted], making it a frustrating experience. Being stuck without a vehicle in a foreign town just before Christmas adds to the stress, and it seems like they are indifferent to my situation.

On December 11th, I placed an order on your website successfully processing my credit card details. However, on December 12th, I received an email supposedly from your company requesting a picture of my driver's license to verify billing information, which I found unusual and concerning. In my many years of online shopping, I have never encountered such a request, and I believe sensitive information like this should be kept secure. Additionally, the unexpected increase in the total amount of my bill and the appearance and disappearance of two $1 charges raised further doubts about the transaction process. I expressed my refusal to provide such personal information electronically and requested to cancel the order and ticket due to these circumstances. This experience has made me hesitant to continue business with your company, and I suggest clearly indicating such verification requirements on your website to avoid customer surprises or concerns.

I recently received my order of brake pads and rotors. However, I noticed that the rear brake pads were missing from the package. It came with the front pads and rotors, but not the rear pads as expected. Unfortunately, the boxes were damaged in transit, and the only items left are the rear rotors in the truck. I would appreciate it if the missing rear brake pads could be sent to me promptly, as I have already started the installation process and do not see the need to return the incomplete package due to the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I identified my part using the Gates part number [redacted], which I found on the Parts Geek website. I confirmed with their ordering person that the part would be metal and match the picture before placing an order. Despite this, the gas cap I received is plastic and not as described. Order number #18-[redacted]8 was placed on Jan 23, [redacted], with payment made using a visa card. I insist on returning the plastic cap as I specifically wanted a metal one. Please send me the correct metal cap that matches the description and picture on the website. The part I am looking for is a Stant, metal, push-in type cap for GM vehicles from [redacted] with EEC emissions, which matches my C10 pickup truck. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly.

I've been on the website for an hour trying to input my credit card security code but keep getting directed to the wrong page. Unfortunately, I lost contact with the representative I was chatting with. I hope they can help me out. It's frustrating that the website is not allowing me to proceed to enter my credit card information. Each time I try, it keeps leading me back to the wrong page. I don't want to keep restarting the process. I may have to escalate this matter if I don't hear back soon.
