I have not been living at my residence at [redacted] Lakeview Drive, Akron, for three years. As a result, my electricity consumption is very low. In September [redacted], I only used [redacted] kWh, but in September [redacted], it was reported as [redacted] kWh. There have been no changes to usage in [redacted], yet the months of July, August, and September have shown an unusually high consumption for a mostly empty house. I would like a comparison of the electricity usage levels for the summer months of both years. I am requesting that my meter be tested. Thank you, C. A. Wilson II.

Hello, my name is Amy Robey Gentry. I believe tracking issues in writing is more efficient. I've reached out to Ohio Edison about a past-due bill with non-sufficient funds charges due to an issue where they claim there is no money in my account when attempting to withdraw. After confirming with my bank that there are sufficient funds, I am stuck in a loop as Ohio Edison demands an additional $4.97 or payment in cash at a Drug Mart, adding extra steps and costs to the process. I am looking for a solution to rectify this without incurring further charges on my bill.

My bill is three times the most used kWh amount. We seem to have a meter read issue or someone might be stealing our electricity. Our business has been closed since May. I contacted your customer service number, and it took me 12 minutes to reach a request for a callback. When they called back, I was put on hold while explaining my issue. After 42 minutes of listening to your music, I filed a complaint with PUCO. Ohio Edison needs to send someone to reread the meter or check our service to prevent electricity theft. After 43 minutes, Ohio Edison hung up, frustrating me. It's reasons like this that people dislike the company. I have clearly stated what I need, but the system doesn't seem to understand.

I recently received my electric bill and was quite shocked by the amount. I would like clarification on why my bill was based on an estimated reading for January and my current charges are unusually high. I am unsure why I am being billed for anything other than the actual meter reading. I am requesting to speak with someone from the management team to address these concerns. Additionally, I need an explanation regarding the charges for generation and transmission components as well as the reason behind the device I am being charged for monthly. I believe I may have been overcharged for the estimated reading in January, despite having accurate readings in December and February. Can you please explain the process of estimating my usage and provide details on how this impacts my bills? I am also seeking clarification on the distribution charges and why they fluctuate monthly. I would like a detailed breakdown of my charges since moving in to ensure accuracy and would appreciate arranging for a technician to verify the meter's accuracy.

I recently received a notice from Clean Choice Energy informing me that they were supplying energy through Ohio Edison. While I appreciated the concept of clean energy, I found their prices unaffordable. I opted out of their service, only to now receive a notice claiming I am behind on payments. I distinctly declined their service and am confused by this issue. Could you kindly clarify and correct this error? I would like a comparison of the charges between my previous service and Clean Choice Energy. Currently, I am unable to afford their rates, and I wish to be returned to my previous provider. Additionally, I expect reimbursement for any discrepancies in the bills.

Claim # [redacted]01 was filed on 11/5/21. We were informed we'd be contacted within 10 days, but it has been over 50 days with no communication. A faulty pole broke on a calm day, causing damage to our camper. Unfortunately, despite reaching out, I have not received a proper response. It's frustrating when every time I call, I'm told different reasons for the delay. I hope the issue gets resolved soon; my camper needs repairs due to the pole's delay in replacement.

I have been receiving two calls daily, one in the morning and one in the evening, from the number [redacted] promising me $50 cash and a 30% discount on services if I press 1. However, once I speak to someone who has difficulty communicating in English, I request that they cease calling me, after which they abruptly hang up. When I questioned their affiliation with Ohio ED, they claim to be a supplier. This situation is clearly a scam, and it has persisted for over a month now. I am seeking assistance in stopping these bothersome calls.

I recently received a notification by mail about a bill for a property that my deceased father owned back in March [redacted]. Despite making three separate phone calls and being transferred to various representatives to address this matter, I kept receiving bills. Each time I called, I was assured the problem would be fixed. After spending at least 3 to 4 hours in total on these calls, I was repeatedly told the issue was resolved. Yet, yesterday I received a letter from a collections agency demanding $44.27 for this outstanding bill. I am extremely frustrated that my father's name, who passed away 18 years ago, was sent to collections. The property was sold shortly after his passing in [redacted]. I seek an explanation for how this situation occurred after the considerable time and effort spent trying to resolve it.

I'm curious if Ohio Edison still offers a program similar to one they had a few years ago. A technician from Howell Electric assessed my home's energy usage and found my refrigerator was the main energy culprit. They swapped out the outdated fridge, installed night lights, upgraded water faucets for energy efficiency, and provided energy-efficient light bulbs. Does Ohio Edison continue to provide such services?
