I bought these AirPods Max for $[redacted] in cash and discovered they are fake. The purchase process involved negotiating the price with a seller on the forum. I met the seller in person, only to find out later that the product was not authentic based on several discrepancies I noticed upon closer inspection. After investigating further, I realized I had been scammed and contacted the seller to request a refund. The seller denied the request, claiming the product had been opened. This has left me frustrated as I seek recourse for this unfortunate situation, especially since the money spent was earmarked for important upcoming events.

I recently purchased fake AirPod Max headphones. I had been saving up for them because I really wanted this Apple product even though it was more of a want than a need for me. After Christmas, I decided to look for them and found a seller offering them at a lower price. We negotiated, settled at $[redacted], and agreed to meet up for the exchange. Following the seller's advice on avoiding online transactions, I paid in cash. However, upon researching real vs fake AirPods, I discovered I had been scammed. The seller insisted they were authentic, claiming he received them as a gift from his grandma. Despite pointing out the discrepancies in the product, he refused a refund once I had opened the package. Frustrated, I attempted to seek help but found no live chat or immediate support options. Hoping to get a refund to address the financial impact on my upcoming family events, I reported the seller and now await a resolution.
