I recently stayed at the Motel 6 on Bell Road just past the I-17 for three nights. Unfortunately, I encountered issues with the air conditioning during my stay. The first night it wasn't working well, but I didn't report it. However, by the second night, it stopped working completely, making it hard to sleep due to the warmth in the room. When I informed the front desk, they said they were fully booked and couldn't address the problem. I'm extremely upset about the poor service and the uncomfortable conditions in the room. I spent over $[redacted] for my stay and believe at least one night's refund is warranted considering the situation. This experience has left me feeling disgusted and frustrated, especially since I'm unwell today due to the lack of sleep.

I was approached by another guest who seemed distressed. She confided in me that she had harmed someone and their body was in a truck nearby. I immediately contacted the police and sheriff, providing them with pictures of the incident. However, the shift change manager was not informed of the situation. When I raised my concerns about this oversight due to my disability, epilepsy, and service animal, the new manager was unaware of the events. I am yet to have my dinner from earlier and have not started preparing for my departure from California in less than a day. I would appreciate a refund or an additional night's accommodation to rest and attend to my pending tasks.

While upstairs in another building, a guest in the parking lot frantically flagged me down. They shared with me a horrifying incident involving a person being killed. The guest indicated that law enforcement was on their way. Feeling shaken, I contacted the police and sheriff immediately. As an epileptic with a service animal, I am overwhelmed by the distressing events. This experience has triggered PTSD symptoms. I came to this location for laundry services before embarking on a journey to visit my terminally ill mother. Despite the late hours, I was informed I could only stay until the morning, leaving me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. I seek assistance from customer service to either refund my money or provide a full credit for this unsettling experience.

I previously worked at Motel 6 in Grants, NM, and had a great experience; the rooms were clean, the staff was wonderful – overall, a pleasant place. Unfortunately, my aunt is currently staying at Motel 6 on Coors and Iliff in Albuquerque, NM, and it has been the complete opposite. They initially placed my disabled aunt in an upstairs room, didn't provide clean towels or bedding, moved her to a bottom floor room without cleaning it, and there were maintenance issues like a broken TV and a leaking shower. The housekeepers haven't checked on her or offered clean linens. To make matters worse, yesterday she was broken into, and all her belongings were stolen. She has been there for a month now, and it's truly disappointing to witness the decline in the quality of service at Motel 6.

I encountered a distressing situation with the hotel staff. It all started with the housekeeping staff being loud and disruptive early in the morning, despite me extending my stay to rest. When I approached them, they were unapologetic and rude, claiming it was part of their job. Later, I had to deal with a broken air conditioner that had been troubling me for over 18 hours, affecting my much-needed sleep. Upon escalating these issues to the manager, I was met with hostility and threats. This behavior is unacceptable, and I am deeply disappointed with the service I have received.

I recently had a negative experience at Motel 6 located at [redacted] Addison in Orlando. The employee discriminated against me, saying I couldn't check in even though I had reservations and paid for the room in advance. Despite being a regular guest who stays for a short time a few times a month due to my boyfriend being a truck driver, I was denied check-in. The employee cited a lack of staff to accommodate my reservation. Additionally, he failed to answer my calls when I informed him I would be arriving late. Last year, he also disrupted my stay by asking to see my card again after check-in, which had never happened before. I believe his behavior is discriminatory and unprofessional, and I believe he should not be employed there. I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience and discrimination I have faced.

On April 16th, I reserved a room through Booking.com with verification number [redacted] and pin [redacted]. Upon arrival at Motel 6 in North Portland, Oregon, I was informed they had no available rooms and refused my reservation, advising me to contact Booking.com. Despite reaching out multiple times since April 16th, Booking.com insists on written verification that I did not stay. This has led to a frustrating back-and-forth between Motel 6 and Booking.com. My request for Motel 6 to provide verification was unmet, resulting in a loss of $[redacted].00 and the need to cancel my plans. I kindly request assistance in this matter to avoid further inconvenience. Thank you for your help.

After a work trip, my colleagues and I stayed at Motel 6 in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Upon returning to our room in the evening, I was utterly disappointed. The room hadn't been cleaned from the previous guest - with a filthy bathtub, toothpaste on the floor, smudges on the mirror, and even urine on the toilet. To make matters worse, there were used condoms in the bed. When I reached out to the front desk, they refused to provide fresh linens or change my room, citing it was too late. The following morning, I found someone had been in my room, leaving sheets for me to change myself. This experience was a first for me, as I've never had to make my own bed in a motel before. The lack of cleanliness and unprofessional behavior, including someone entering my room without notice, has left me highly dissatisfied and questioning the standards at this motel.

After a work trip, my colleagues and I stayed at Motel 6 in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Upon returning late to my room, I found it uncleaned since the previous guest, with a dirty bathtub, soap buildup, toothpaste on the floor, smudges on the mirror, urine on the toilet, and used condoms. Despite requesting fresh linens or a room change, I was denied by the late-night front desk staff. Unable to sleep due to the conditions, I was still charged. The next day, upon returning to my room, I found someone had entered and left sheets for me to change myself. I'm frustrated that I had to make my own bed, feeling it was an invasion of privacy. This experience at Motel 6 was unacceptable.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Redding (Twin Peaks) on February 20th, and it was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I usually enjoy Motel 6 stays, but this one was beyond disappointing. There were several issues I encountered during my stay: 1. The overpowering smell of cigarettes upon entering the room was unpleasant. 2. The sink was small and the drain plug didn't work, which made washing up difficult. 3. The thin and uncomfortable blanket provided was inadequate for the cold February weather. 4. The lack of proper heating or cooling in the room was uncomfortable. 5. The service and amenities, including the lack of coffee lids, were subpar. Despite voicing my concerns to the manager, the issues were not adequately addressed. I was promised a reimbursement, but unfortunately, that has not been resolved. The lack of customer service and the condition of the room have left me extremely dissatisfied. I am considering taking this matter to small claims court as a last resort. This experience has made me reconsider staying at Motel 6 in the future. S.G. Lancaster, California

I recently stayed at Motel SIX in Redding (Twin Peaks) on Feb 20th and had an extremely disappointing experience. The room had a strong cigarette smell upon entering, the sink was small and had drainage issues, the blanket provided was uncomfortable, there was no heat or A/C, and I encountered problems with the coffee service in the lobby. Additionally, I was asked to leave the property while waiting for a ride. Despite complaints to the area manager, I was falsely told I would be reimbursed. Repeated attempts to resolve the issue have been met with unhelpful and rude responses from staff. This experience has made me reconsider staying at Motel SIX in the future and I am now considering taking legal action. Sylvia Gregory, Lancaster, California.

I made a reservation for a 7-day stay at Motel-6 in Reno, NV on Stardust Street. Unfortunately, my car was towed due to a strict policy, even though my permit was partially visible. This incident led to extra expenses and inconvenience. Such aggressive towing practices can impact individuals, especially those relying on state programs to afford housing. I believe this policy may be unjust and possibly linked to unethical motives. I request a refund of $[redacted] for the impound fee and cab expenses, charged to my Visa ending in [redacted]. Addressing this issue promptly and ensuring fair policies are essential for customer satisfaction. I can be reached at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you, Darrin Johnson.

I made a reservation at Motel 6 on Frederick Avenue in Saint Joseph, Missouri for a handicap room #[redacted], but upon arrival, the front desk was not aware of the room's availability. As a result, my husband was given a room upstairs, while I had to stay in an RV van due to my inability to climb stairs. The next morning, we informed the manager of our issues, including the room's lack of amenities like a telephone and TV, and its cleanliness issues due to ongoing renovations. The manager promised a refund of $76.89 within 5 to 7 days, but when the refund didn't materialize, I was informed I would only receive 50% back. I plan to contact the district office to seek the full refund as initially promised. The experience was disheartening, especially considering the availability of the appropriate room #[redacted] and the manager's failure to uphold his word. I hope for a fair resolution given the challenges I faced as a disabled guest.

I recently relocated to Palm Springs, California with my fiancé, who is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair. Currently, we are staying at Motel 6 while searching for an apartment. On the second night, we had to change rooms due to termites in the initial room. Unfortunately, during the room switch, the door of the new room locked, trapping my fiancé's service dog inside. It took security and the front desk staff over an hour to resolve this, causing us to move rooms again at 3:00 in the morning. Following this, I observed unusual bug bites on my body and discovered a bed bug infestation in the new room. I usually don't complain, but this situation is unacceptable, and I believe action needs to be taken.

I have been staying at Motel 6 in Warner Robins, Georgia since March 20th of this year. My recent experience has been terrible, but today was the last straw. My dog escaped without a leash, and the manager immediately evicted me because of it. I had paid $[redacted] in cash on June 5th for the week, but I was only refunded $69.03, despite still having days left. I won't be paid again until June 16th, and I'm now homeless with minimal funds. Instead of causing disturbances like some other guests, I've been unfairly kicked out. The situation is dire as I now must sleep in my car. The motel's issues, including drugs and an untrustworthy manager, are unacceptable. My commitment to paying on time each week should have counted for more. I plan to report this to the news to expose the motel's mistreatment. This has been an incredibly distressing experience for me as a responsible tenant.

Hotels.com has confirmed my reservation via email, and I am currently trying to confirm it via phone after waiting nearly an hour in the Texas heat, where it's [redacted]°F outside. This Motel 6 in Lindale, Texas, despite having confirmation from hotels.com, is not allowing me to enter the room with air conditioning due to heat stroke concerns. I am a senior citizen and disabled, and the situation is urgent. Please assist me promptly to avoid any medical issues. I am about to seek medical help and legal action if this matter is not resolved immediately. The reservation is under Eric Pennington, and for further details, please contact me at 9:03-[redacted].

During my stay at the Motel 6 in Issaquah, WA, with confirmation #9348ACE134 for one night, I encountered several issues. Upon arrival at 4 o'clock, there was a slight delay in accessing the room, and the room was uncomfortably warm with poor cooling. The water pressure in the shower was inadequate, leading to difficulties in rinsing off, particularly in an accessible room. As a 72-year-old guest, this experience was disappointing, especially considering the rate of $[redacted].92. Despite the location, the service did not meet expectations, as evident from the delayed room availability and overall unsatisfactory stay. I believe some compensation is warranted due to the inconvenience of the situation.

My name is Maria G Calderon, and I stayed at Motel 6 in Marina, CA on Saturday, June 25, [redacted]. When I called the reservation number, I was quoted $[redacted] (after my federal discount) plus taxes for the night. Despite inquiring if that was the best rate, as I found lower prices online through third-party sites, I was informed that room prices increase as they fill up. Even though I believed Steve, the reservation specialist, my daughter later discovered on Hotels.com the same room for $89. I feel disappointed that I wasn't offered the lower rate by your agent. I kindly request a refund for the price difference or a voucher for future stays. I hope that your representatives can be trained to provide customers with a sense of fairness and appreciation.

I had a reservation at Motel 6 in San Dimas for 2 nights from July 11 to July 13. Shortly after checking in with my boyfriend, we were asked to leave by an employee accusing us of breaking their policies, which we did not. The situation escalated, the police were involved, and we were promised a refund the next day. However, despite contacting the hotel, the refund was not processed. We followed all rules and were wrongly accused of damaging the property. I reached out to management, but my refund was declined, leaving us without a place to stay and out of the money we had worked hard for. This experience was unjust, and we are seeking a resolution by getting our money back.

My recent motel stay was the worst I've ever experienced. Upon check-in, I requested a room near the pool, but instead was given a room far from amenities with poor Wi-Fi. The constant noise from upgrades being done above me by a noisy crew of workers made my stay unbearable. Despite my requests, the staff refused to change my room, even when I offered to clean it myself. When I persisted, the staff threatened me with security and withholding my deposit. The next morning, upon checkout, the room was in good condition, yet they still kept my deposit, along with that of four other guests. This seems to be a common occurrence at this motel and it is unacceptable. Actions like these need to be looked into and stopped to prevent others from being taken advantage of by such dishonest and disrespectful behavior.
