I recently ordered a computer and installed Microsoft on it. Unfortunately, I had to return the computer. On 5/28, I noticed a $99 charge on my account for Microsoft. Since then, I bought a new computer and set up a new account due to the old one being inaccessible on the frozen computer I returned. I am trying to reach out to resolve this issue and avoid being charged twice. I had only used the service for 3 days out of the 30-day promotional period.

This individual, whom I will refer to as R.R., has displayed unethical behavior and appears to have violated your privacy. As someone dealing with health issues, specifically with ineffective pain medication, you sought alternative ways to manage your pain. Unfortunately, R.R., who seems to have obtained and duplicated confidential documents from your doctor, engaged in deceitful actions. This unauthorized individual not only interfered with your medical information but also made inappropriate suggestions and attempted to manipulate you. It’s evident that you are distressed by R.R.’s unwanted presence in your life, including attempts at extortion and intrusive phone calls. Taking measures like changing your phone number multiple times shows how disruptive R.R.’s actions have been. It’s understandable that you desire assistance in removing this person from your life and ensuring your privacy and security.

Last year, I received a free copy of Win 10 from Microsoft before its public release. Unfortunately, my PC no longer loads Windows, rendering it unusable since January or February. Despite having backups on both a disc and thumb drive, they were disposed of by my SIL during my move without my consent. I have reached out for assistance, but no one around me seems to have a spare copy of the software. I am disabled and unable to pursue a traditional job, especially now with rising expenses. I can only afford essential costs such as rent, bills, and some food. I urgently need a remote job to supplement my disability income, and having a functional computer is crucial for that. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a laptop running Windows 10 with Edge as my browser. I encountered an issue with sound not playing on Edge despite having resolved past problems with the help of Microsoft technicians. Yesterday, I used the installed troubleshooter which prompted me to update the driver. After the update, the sound briefly played on a site in Edge but later stopped working again. Subsequent attempts using the troubleshooter did not resolve the issue. I am hesitant to create an account or follow further instructions without assistance. I would appreciate simple email instructions or speaking with a technician for guidance.

I encountered an issue on my Lenovo Yoga [redacted] laptop running Windows 10. While performing an online search for a golf cart, I was redirected to a Windows Defender Security alert claiming a threat was detected ('App: Ads.BrowserObject(2).dll Threat Detected: Trojan Spyware'). The alert stated my computer's access had been blocked and advised me to contact Windows Support at 1-[redacted]. A subsequent message warned not to restart the computer as it was disabled, urging me to call Windows directly. After researching Microsoft Support contacts, I was unable to verify the legitimacy of the provided [redacted] number. Can anyone confirm if this is a genuine threat? Thank you.

Hi, my name is Wesley. I'm having trouble updating my HP laptop with Windows 10. It's stuck on the last update and won't progress. Additionally, I'm unable to connect to Bluetooth devices. The option to turn on Bluetooth is missing from the icon in the action center. My laptop is also running very slowly. I'm unable to pair anything without an adapter. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

After downloading Windows 10 (without upgrading), my system has been significantly affected by mouse issues. Unwanted pop-ups appear that cannot be closed, hindering progress. Selecting items in a window, like emails to delete, results in the pop-ups causing all items to remain undeleted. Clicking on links redirects to different sites or pop-ups obstruct access, exacerbating the situation. Even after purchasing a new wireless mouse and keyboard from Dell and following various troubleshooting steps, the problems persist.
I bought Windows 10 directly from Microsoft on 12-29/30-21, and the issues started immediately. Despite trying to make Windows 10 functional within the specified time frame instead of reverting to Windows 8, the problems persisted. Microsoft seems to have been aware of these issues for years yet has not taken corrective action. This situation is frustrating as I expected a fully operational product from Microsoft.
If an immediate solution or patch is not provided, I request a refund and the option to revert to Windows 8 at no cost. If Microsoft declines, I am prepared to seek mediation and involve the Federal Consumer Protection Agency for assistance, as advised.

I'm encountering two issues. The primary challenge is that one of my games is not functioning correctly. The App Store indicates that I have already purchased it, but I'm prompted to buy it again, preventing me from playing. I attempted to reach out to Microsoft support for assistance. Upon trying to request a call, I was instructed to log in. However, I encountered an error stating my password was incorrect. I know for certain that the password is correct as I've been using it for years to access my Xbox account. I am frustrated and seeking assistance from a human representative as opposed to an automated response. I have dedicated an hour to resolving this matter, cutting into my study time, with no success. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I received a pop-up message informing me that Windows Defender found a trojan horse and blocked access to my computer, instructing me to reach out to Windows Support at [redacted]1. Upon calling, the person on the other end directed me to run an UltraViewer program, which seemed suspicious to me. I grew wary of the situation, feeling that something was off about the entire interaction.
