Subject: Ticket Refund and Booking Concerns I made a ticket booking for my son, A.S., through MakeMyTrip on September 13, [redacted], with PNR 8J4ZHW, for a flight on October 7, [redacted]. I specifically asked for a ticket that could be canceled due to pending visa issues, based on advice received from a MakeMyTrip representative who suggested VietJet Flight. They assured me of a refund minus Rs. [redacted] if cancellation was needed. On October 4, [redacted], when I tried to cancel, I discovered VietJet's no-refund policy, contrary to what was previously communicated. MakeMyTrip offered credit shells instead, valid for one year with a required payment difference for new tickets. Recently, when I tried to use the credit shells to book for February 23, [redacted], I was shocked to find a Rs. 15,[redacted] penalty on top of the fare difference, totaling around Rs. 25,[redacted]. This contradicts the original information given. Seeking clarification and a fair resolution promptly to secure a booking for my son due to rising fares.
