Hello,
I am interested in the KP MD Platinum 0/15/Vision plan. Before enrolling, I need to ensure that it meets specific criteria related to my visa status:
- Medical benefits of at least $[redacted],[redacted] per accident or illness
- Repatriation of remains totaling $25,[redacted]
- Medical evacuation expenses to the home country amounting to $50,[redacted]
- A deductible not exceeding $[redacted] per accident or illness
- Insurance underwritten by a company with the specified ratings
Could you confirm if this plan aligns with these requirements? It would be helpful to receive a plan document detailing these specifics for submission to my employer.
Thank you,
A.C.

My health insurance policy (KP VA Gold 0/20/Dental) began on June 1, [redacted], with MRN [redacted]6. The monthly charge of $[redacted].79 was consistently billed to my credit card on the 2nd of each month. I believed my coverage would continue as long as I paid the premiums. Recently, I received an email stating my policy expires on December 31, [redacted]. On January 2, [redacted], a charge of $[redacted].32 was processed on my card. I am having trouble accessing my account as it does not recognize my information - username, password, birthdate, or MRN. I have unsuccessfully attempted to reach customer service by phone, experiencing long wait times without speaking to a representative. I am worried and confused about my current insurance status and the difficulty in obtaining assistance from KP.

Joyce D., born on 2/24/[redacted], residing at [redacted] Ludgate Road, Baltimore, MD [redacted], has been struggling with recurring infections that Kaiser has not been able to fully treat. Despite a course of antibiotics, repeated requests were needed to have Kaiser redo a urine test, which only included a UA and not a C&S. After several attempts, a culture confirmed that the infection persisted, as it typically falls below [redacted],[redacted] during a UA. Communication with the doctor went unanswered, leaving Mrs. D. in pain, now dealing with stomach issues. Urging for IV treatment, previous hospital visits failed to clear the infection thoroughly, prompting a plea for Kaiser to administer ABT at home until the infection clears as indicated by culture results. Seeking help from Johns Hopkins Hospital and potential knee replacements, the writer, Kimberly D., RN, hopes for relief for her mother and resolution from Kaiser.
