I purchased several Jenn Air appliances and paid for installation, but the dealer is having trouble installing the downdraft module. I paid a significant amount for these appliances, with a total of $19,[redacted].74 on 3/18/19, which is a considerable sum for me. The installers have visited twice but lacked the necessary parts and experience, leading to delays in the installation process.
I faced issues with scheduling installation before full payment, as the dealer required full payment to schedule. Despite paying $3,[redacted] on 4/1/19 for installation, the cooktops are still not installed, leaving my kitchen incomplete. This situation has been frustrating, and I feel it reflects poorly on Jenn Air's reputation. I am unsure of what resolution I seek from Jenn Air, but this experience has not been satisfactory. If problems arise with the appliances, I am uncertain if they stem from the appliances themselves or the installation process.

I have a Jenn Air double wall oven, model #JJW2730WS. The computer board malfunctioned in the first unit in less than 5 years. It was replaced last year, but it started showing error messages FF2 and that it was not working almost immediately. I contacted the local service tech, Richard's Service Center at [redacted], but he hasn't been able to fix the issue. Currently, the oven is scrolling through modes and takes a long time to turn on, indicating a wiring problem. I was without an oven for 6 weeks the first time and 3 weeks the second time. This situation is unacceptable, and I may be without an oven for Thanksgiving. I believe it's time for Jenn Air to replace the entire unit. Contact me at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] - Joy T.

We've had a Maytag Jenn-Air glass cooktop with downdraft for several years now. The model is JED8430BDB with SERIAL [redacted]7GE. Recently, when I turned the heat to medium on the right front burner, I heard a roaring sound. To my surprise, the glass cracked on that side both in the front and back. Upon cooling, I noticed that pressing on it caused an area to break inward. Although the elements still function, we've decided not to use that side due to safety concerns. I've come across other reports online of similar incidents where the glass has exploded, so I consider myself lucky that it didn't result in a more serious situation.

I have a JenAir oven with a glass cooktop from around [redacted] in my house. Last night, while using the cooktop, the oven lights turned on as though I was setting the temperature (although I was not). Then, a beeping sound began, similar to a timer going off, and I couldn't stop it. The beeping continued rapidly for about 20 minutes until I pressed the help and tips buttons together, and the service number appeared, causing the beeping to stop. I cleared the service number this morning, and the beeping has not returned. I am curious about what might have caused this issue and if there is anything to be concerned about.

I have an older Jenn Air countertop cooktop. If you guide me on how to send a photo, I would like to share it. I am interested in the new RISE and NOIR rangetops. I am concerned if the current gas supply to my cooktop will be enough for the powerful burners on the new units. My countertop is on an island, making it challenging to install a new gas line. What should I do next?

I have been having issues with my Jenn-Air range. The keypad was replaced, and now a new problem is emerging. The range is only 3 years old. I received an email about purchasing insurance, and I am interested in that. However, I have been disconnected multiple times while on hold trying to clarify some insurance details.
In addition, when I tried to order replacement knobs, they arrived scratched and unusable every time. I have been on hold several times regarding this matter as well. I need to speak to a customer service representative to address these range issues.
I believe getting insurance is necessary due to the range's unreliability. I wish to speak to someone promptly.
On a positive note, we have a Jenn-Air refrigerator that we are pleased with. However, I am frustrated with the range's performance and lack of customer service.
Thank you,
Paula P.

I am seeking two professional gas downdraft ranges for my kitchen. Currently, I have two aging JennAir downdraft gas ranges that are unreliable. Unfortunately, JennAir holds the patent for downdraft technology, making it challenging for me to find suitable replacements without completely remodeling my kitchen due to space constraints. The only alternative I have found is a Euro-style range, which would not complement my large kitchen and would look out of place. Considering options like backdraft ranges is also not feasible due to various kitchen layout factors.
It is disappointing that JennAir no longer produces professional ranges with downdraft functionality, as their products have unique design elements that I appreciate. I believe incorporating a downdraft feature into your professional ranges would greatly benefit customers like me facing similar challenges. Alternatively, I urge JennAir to reconsider their patent restrictions on downdraft technology to allow other manufacturers to innovate in this area.

My Jenn-Air JFC2089HES side-by-side refrigerator with a bottom freezer has an issue with the icemaker not producing ice. After leaving it turned off for a while, it now makes a gurgling noise in the freezer. I tried replacing the water filter with a bypass cap to check for any blockages but still no luck. The water dispenser works fine, with a strong flow of water. Any suggestions on what could be causing this problem with the icemaker?

Our JennAir Refrigerator Model JF36NXFXDE, purchased in October of [redacted] for $7,[redacted], has had multiple service calls, with most concerning issues with the ice maker. The ice maker continuously produces ice, causing it to overflow the tray, spill into the food compartment, and drip onto the floor. Despite three unsuccessful repair attempts, the appliance repair company has been unable to resolve the problem. Considering the price of this appliance, the ongoing issue is unacceptable. We are requesting a replacement for our built-in refrigerator.

My Jenn-Air downdraft 4-burner oven/stove, model JES9900BDS from around [redacted], has a non-responsive control panel. While running the exhaust fan, I intermittently encountered a "lost power" error, which progressed to a completely dead screen. I attempted to reset by turning off circuit breakers twice to no avail. I'm curious if there are other components aside from the control computer that could be causing the display/control failure. Additionally, I am considering replacing the part myself to save on costs as opposed to hiring a repair technician for around $99 for a house call plus $[redacted]/hour and parts.
