I purchased a debit card for online shopping without realizing it wasn't meant for that purpose. I used it a few times, and then it stopped functioning. I assumed it was empty, but to my surprise, there is still a remaining balance of $74 and some change. Despite speaking with many representatives, the card remains blocked because of my unsuccessful attempts at McDonald's, Wendy's, Pilot, and other establishments. After requesting a refund reversal from my closed Greendot account, I received only $28.29 out of $49,[redacted].70. A confirmation from Civista Bank, attached to this email, shows the total amount requested for return was $49,[redacted].70. Greendot sent a check for $28.29 as a refund, claiming the full amount was refunded. I am outraged by this discrepancy and demand answers from Greendot's supervisor. The situation is unacceptable, and I am considering legal action against Greendot for this error. It is concerning that only a fraction of the requested amount was refunded, and I will take further steps to address this issue with Greendot.

I purchased a Green Dot Visa card and loaded $[redacted] onto it. However, I was unable to use the card as it was not activated. CVS informed me that the card was inactive. When I contacted Green Dot, they mentioned an investigation as someone had used the card with a different name. The card was never activated or used, and I feel I have been robbed of $[redacted]. I'm having trouble registering my Green Dot card every time I call. They keep talking about the temporary card, saying it's not a debit card. I bought the card at a store to use, added money to it, but I can't register it. All I want to do is register it to use it. I'm not trying to use a Green Dot debit card, just a regular card.

I bought two Green Dot cards each with over $[redacted]. I was told they were activated, but I can't use them as they are. I couldn't set up an account for them, and I'm frustrated. I received my tax refund on my Go2 bank card, but my account is closed. I recently got a Walmart Green Dot card. When my tax return was deposited, my account got locked. I provided photos of my ID, but they claimed it was fake, which it is not. I've offered to send pictures of my social security card or even a photo of me holding my ID next to my face, but they keep refusing and won't issue a check or return my funds.
