I need to update my email address with Ga Power. I followed the instructions on the website to change my phone number successfully. However, I was unable to update my email address as it is linked to my registration and cannot be modified online. I prefer speaking with someone to ensure my profile is updated correctly. It's disappointing that there is no live support available for customers like myself.

I noticed two non-Ga Power vehicles, two pickup trucks, near a pole across from [redacted] Lawrenceville Hwy. They seemed to be maneuvering around the pole but not climbing it. They may have been placing traffic caution signs on the southwest bound lanes of Lawrenceville Hwy before McClendon Dr. It would be helpful to have more information about the outage causes and the usual crew responses in this situation. I just saw a GP or contractor truck pass by with flashing lights. Thank you in advance for any updates you can provide.

While training my German Shepherd Dogs on my 22-acre property, I was surprised by two unannounced gentlemen spraying near the power lines. They couldn't explain what they were spraying. Since it was close to my well, I'd like to know what substance they were using. According to the MSDS Act, I have the right to this information. Additionally, advance notice of visitors to my property, located a quarter mile from the road, would be appreciated. As I raise and train German Shepherds for various purposes, knowing about on-site activities is crucial. I spent my career as a chemist, so understanding the chemicals involved is important for me. I am concerned about the significant increase in my electricity bill over the past two months. Since May, I have noticed a dramatic spike in my bill despite my limited electricity usage. My daily routine involves getting up at 1 pm, with my television on from 5 pm until 1 am or earlier. I cook occasionally and do laundry once every four weeks, yet the bill continues to rise. I have attempted to contact the customer service office at various times over the past few months, but unfortunately, each time I call, the representative either hangs up on me or the call gets disconnected, leaving me unable to address my concerns. This situation is becoming increasingly frustrating and problematic.

I applied for assistance with my power bill and I'm waiting to hear back from Georgia Rental Assistance in Henry County. They are supposed to help with a utility bill, as well as the Salvation Army. Whichever one contacts me first, I will pay the bill. Unfortunately, I don't have $[redacted] towards it today. Is there any way to cancel the service stop or disconnect? It's scheduled to be disconnected at midnight.

As a new customer, I am ready to pay my first bill of $59.91. However, I have not received a bill in the mail. Even though I was given the username [redacted], the online platform is not recognizing it. I am unable to pay online. When I visited Publix to pay in person, they could not locate my account. Regarding account number 54[redacted]5 for the residential property at [redacted] Hwy 84, Stockton, Georgia [redacted], I am experiencing an issue with the power being disconnected about two weeks ago. A technician mentioned that the power could not be restored until the main breaker on the house was turned off. Despite turning off the breaker box, the power has not been reinstated as of yesterday. Since the property is vacant, I am eager to confirm if the technician has reconnected the power so I can arrange for my local representative to switch on the main breaker. This is necessary for the lights and waterwell pump to function properly.
I have found it frustrating dealing with the automated customer service system and would greatly appreciate speaking to a live representative to resolve this matter promptly.

My power was disconnected on September 12, despite the bill specifying a payment deadline of September 29 to avoid disconnection. Unfortunately, with the power out, my security cameras were useless, resulting in a break-in at my home. This incident spoiled all the groceries in my refrigerator. Adding to the hardship, one of my dogs, scheduled to be put to sleep today (9/15), needs comfort. The disconnection occurred over two weeks before the bill's due date. In addition to the reconnect fee, they may require a deposit held for two years. Georgia Power owes me $[redacted] for the premature disconnection. This sum would cover the fees, replenish groceries ($[redacted]), and compensate for the discomfort and security breach for myself and my dogs. Sleeping in the apartment without power, AC, Internet, security cameras, or a phone for more than 24 hours was challenging. My dog has been with me for almost 14 years, and I've always been prompt with bill payments. I want her last days to be as comfortable as possible.
