I have recently become aware that a dispute was initiated in December [redacted] regarding my mortgage with Us Bank. Despite providing evidence in writing from Us Bank showing my payment history, my credit report was not corrected. I want to address this issue, as I believe there has been a misunderstanding in this process. I have escalated this matter to the necessary authorities to ensure that it gets resolved properly.

I would like to cancel my subscription. I have attempted to contact customer service by phone but had to wait on hold for extended periods on both occasions. Yesterday, 7/15/20, I waited for approximately 17 minutes before being disconnected, and today, 7/16/20 at 10:10 AM, I have been waiting for exactly 21 minutes and counting. My name is Miguel C Gonzalez, and my phone number is 1 [redacted]. I activated my account on 7/7/[redacted] at 9:15 PM. If you require any additional information, please feel free to call me. I was informed that I could cancel within the 7-day period without any charges, but so far, I had no success until just now when a lady finally answered after 31 minutes of waiting. She was very polite and resolved my concerns. Thank you, Miguel Gonzalez.

I'm having trouble signing in. I have attempted to log in on both the website (desktop) and the app, and encountered issues with both platforms. On the desktop site, I am directed to a landing page promoting a free credit report with no evident way to bypass it. The only option provided is to retry signing in, which leads to the same cycle. On the mobile app, although I can sign in, I am prompted to "Complete Registration." Despite filling in the required information, I consistently receive an error message stating, "Registration Error - Your user account has been created, but the registration process failed for some reason. Please sign in to your account and try again." This error persists, despite the account being unaffected. The problem seems to lie with the functionality of the website and app.

I recently discovered through Credit Karma that my personal information was compromised by a company in the UK. Following a purchase of masks on eBay from a UK based company, eBay suspended their account. To safeguard against identity theft, Credit Karma suggested I lock or freeze my credit with all three credit bureaus. TransUnion and Equifax successfully locked/froze my credit online upon my request. However, I had to mail Experian the necessary documents about ten days ago to freeze my credit with them. I also mentioned a possible prior credit freeze with Experian due to a previous breach several years ago, approximately 3-4 years back. Surprisingly, my Experian credit score has now dropped by 25 points, leaving me bewildered. Despite numerous attempts to contact Experian at [redacted], the automated system failed to recognize my selections. I am eager to understand the reason behind the sudden drop in my credit score.

I recently received a collection account notice at the beginning of this week. I did not pay this charge because the doctor billed me as a new patient for $[redacted]. When I explained to the representative that this charge was incorrect, I clarified that I was just a visitor in the city spending time with my granddaughter. I visited the doctor for a sinus infection during my stay and should have been charged for an emergency visit, not as a new patient. Since I was only there for a few days and would return to another state, I feel this charge is unjust. I am unsure of what steps to take next and if I should settle the bill. I am also concerned about removing this charge from my Experian account. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My first name has been officially changed through a court order from Elia Baltazar to ELLIE CLARESE Baltazar on September 12, [redacted], in Nueces County, Texas. I faced issues with credit approval at JC Penney as there was insufficient credit history under the new name. Despite my Social Security Number reflecting as ELLIE Baltazar and the Texas Driver's License bearing the name ELLIE CLARESE Baltazar, I experienced challenges. I sent copies of the court order, driver's license, and social security card to Experian by registered mail on June 30, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the mail was returned unopened on July 17, [redacted] due to a forwarding dispute.

I recently visited the Experian website to find a phone number. I discovered two numbers and tried calling both, only to reach recorded messages each time. I wanted to inquire about avoiding the monthly charge of over $25 for checking my credit score occasionally. I learned that cancelling requires contacting Experian to stop the recurring charge but had a few questions before proceeding. My main challenge is reaching a live agent at Experian. I am eager to speak with someone directly to address my concerns.

I recently discovered a fraudulent claim on my credit report from Experian, causing my credit score to drop to [redacted]. The agency responsible for this is US SM BUS ADM ODA, reported on 7/28/[redacted]. Despite spending 3 hours on hold with them and leaving multiple messages, I haven't received any assistance. Chase bank alerted me about this issue, and after spending 2 hours on hold with your customer service, I still haven't had a response or call back as promised. I am seeking a quick resolution to this problem. Thank you for your assistance.

I have encountered ongoing issues with Discover STUDENT on my credit reports dating back to [redacted]. Despite my son's hardship approval in November [redacted] and Discover's assurance that no payments were due in September, October, and November [redacted], there are still late entries on the reports. Discover claimed to have retracted the late payments in [redacted] and provided evidence of the non-payment periods. However, I am facing difficulties submitting supporting documents through Experian's website due to system errors. I plan to mail the documents but need clarification on the correct address as there are conflicting ones on the website. I was informed that Experian could also assist with the dispute process. Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in reaching an agent via phone. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am alerting about an unauthorized Hard Inquiry on my credit report. Discover informed me of two Hard Inquiries on 08/12/[redacted], marked on 08/13/[redacted]. The unauthorized inquiries were from Ford Motor Credit and Entergy Country Ford. I have not authorized these companies to access my credit report in any way. I attempted to reach out to Experian via phone, but their system does not seem to accommodate complaints. I am concerned about the security of my personal information and why there are barriers to reporting such issues. False credit inquiries negatively impact my credit score and likely breach the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Should I escalate this matter to a Federal Authority if not resolved by you? Regards, P. Richardson

Hello everyone, I'm writing to address an ongoing issue I've been experiencing with accessing my Experian account through the Experian App for the past 8 months. Despite contacting Experian 18 times and speaking with various representatives, including specialists and supervisors, I have yet to successfully log in to the app. This has been incredibly frustrating as I rely on the app to view my credit scores and manage disputes. The problem seems to stem from a forgotten 4-digit account pin. I've made numerous attempts to resolve this through customer service to no avail, resulting in multiple unresolved tickets and a significant negative impact on my credit. I urgently request a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you for your attention to this pressing issue. Best regards, Denny Rizzo.

I need assistance with my Experian Boost through the Federal Credit Union. Can you connect me with Beth, the branch manager, at [redacted] to help? It's puzzling that my credit score dropped by 14 points last month, even though I owe very little on the credit card linked to Experian. The card is issued by the same bank. Why is this happening? I'm only utilizing a small amount of credit, so I'm unsure why there was a decline. I'm solely using this credit card. Please analyze the credit usage between last month and this month and explain the score drop to me. I am eager to understand what's transpired. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I have a freeze on my Experian credit report that I need lifted immediately. Despite having the correct PIN, Experian is stating it's incorrect when trying to lift the freeze online and over the phone. I don't have time to wait for a written request response. I urgently need someone from Experian to call me right away to help resolve this matter before my mortgage application this afternoon. Thank you.

I am attempting to temporarily lift my credit freeze. After calling and answering security questions, I selected the dates to lift and reset the freeze. However, the system now requires me to provide a myriad of personal information such as addresses, previous addresses, account statements, social security numbers, and more, to an address in TX. This is difficult to do quickly. The process seems flawed, as it states I must mail in this information before my freeze can be lifted, potentially taking weeks. This seems unnecessary and inconvenient. Why must such detailed information be physically mailed to lift a freeze temporarily? I would appreciate an explanation.

I mistakenly visited a fake Merrell shoe website and was alarmed to find out it was fraudulent. I promptly updated my credit card information but did not change my phone number. Recently, I received a call on the same number from Portfolio Recovery, claiming to be a collection agency because of the false Merrell site incident. They threatened to report unpaid charges to my credit report, causing me concern. Can they legally do this? My main inquiry revolves around this issue. Thank you.
Kathleen G. from Portland, OR. My credit score was [redacted] when I applied for a car loan, and I have never experienced a charge-off before.

I am attempting to temporarily remove a freeze on my credit report. When I fill out the required information form on your website, I encounter an issue. Despite indicating that I have lived at my current address for over 2 years (which is accurate, I have actually lived here for over 20 years), upon submission, the system requests my previous address and zip code, which I do not recall. I find the amount of additional information requested, such as bank statements and pay stubs, excessive compared to other credit agencies. I successfully lifted the freeze online with you a month ago with no such complications. I need assistance as soon as possible to facilitate adding myself to my partner's credit card.

After my mortgage lender merged with another bank, my credit reports now show my active mortgage as closed, causing a significant drop in my credit score. Attempting to dispute this online with Experian proved difficult as the security questions did not pertain to my accounts. However, my Credit Karma Experian tab displays the correct information. Despite failed attempts to contact Experian via phone or their website form, I still need to address the impact of the bank merger on my credit score.

After nearly four decades as credit card holders with an impeccable payment record, my recent Home Depot purchase was unexpectedly declined despite having well under our credit limit. Feeling embarrassed and frustrated, I contacted the bank for an explanation. To my surprise, they requested detailed personal information including my address, citizenship status, occupation, and income source. I found this intrusive after being a loyal customer for so long.
In response, I asked senior management, including the CEO, to convert our accumulated rewards points to credit, which would more than cover the outstanding balance and subsequently close the account. Regrettably, they refused, stating it was against policy to credit rewards upon closure.
Refusing to pay further bills due to a projected credit balance and no new charges, I now seek guidance on disputing a false negative credit report by Bank of America. I have included this correspondence in the dispute file # [redacted] dated 8th September [redacted]. Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am a subscriber to Experian, and I have concerns about their marketing practices. Despite Experian presenting themselves as a credit advisor, I have received emails suggesting I increase my credit limit with recommended cards. However, upon following their advice and obtaining a Lowes card, my credit score dropped due to a credit inquiry resulting from the new application. I find this misleading and potentially harmful. It seems Experian should clarify that applying for new credit could negatively impact one's credit score. This experience raises doubts about the guidance provided by Experian and their advertising methods.

I noticed a delinquent account alert on my credit report for $[redacted] linked to a PayPal account reported by Syncb/ppc. Both Experian and TransUnion show a delinquent payment of $[redacted] and an account balance of $4,[redacted], but I do not have such an account or owe the mentioned amount. Upon contacting PayPal, they mentioned a transaction of $[redacted] on Nov 25th, [redacted], but I do not see it in my account and suspect it might be related to a guest checkout. I am considering reaching out to my financial institution to dispute the charge if it only appears on my statement. Additionally, I suspect this might be tied to my ex-wife, Stephanie S. Richards, as she may have an account. I also aim to update my information with the credit reporting agencies as they seem to have outdated details about me.
